Hogwarts: The Path of the Chosen Ones
Chapter 6
The Transformations

Brittney
Inside the bright light, I suddenly felt a tingling sensation all over my body. “What’s going on?” I moaned out in confusion holding on to my still tingling arms. I took a glance around me and saw the others falling out on the ground and moaning also in pain. All of a sudden I could feel something growing out of my head. That feeling was hair and lots of it. It felt very weird. Then I felt a burning feeling advancing from my feet to my face, then out of my eyes. The feeling came out in a flash scolding every inch of my eyes. All sorts of agonizing feelings were going through my body; stinging burning, itching. Then it was over and I blacked out.

Daniel
When I finally opened my eyes, I saw the ceiling of the Chosen Train. It was still daylight which meant I probably wasn’t out that long.. My eyes felt so sore and I blinked repeatedly to relieve the pain. When I got up and looked down at myself, I gasped silently at my new clothing and then walked over the others who were still lying all on the floor to the mirror. When I looked at the mirror, I did a double take and rubbed my eyes to make sure everything in front of me was really what I saw. I had changed completely. My hair which was usually a brown color was a midnight blue. It was still shoulder length, but the extension behind it was a low back length long braid that had a silver hair holder at the end of it. That was cool but the sweetest thing about me were my eyes. “Sweet!” I exclaimed silently. My eyes were a flaming red color. Very different from their regular blue color. After checking myself out a little while longer, I turned to check on the rest of the gang. Most of them were still out on the floor and some were just starting to wake up. I hurried to Brittney who was sprawled out on the train seat still passed out. I began to pet her cheek saying, “Brittney! Brit! Wake up! You have to see this!” She moaned and began to wake.

Brittney
When I woke up to some swollen eyes, I saw Daniel or a person I thought was Daniel standing over me. “Uh…Bubby?” I asked calling him by his nickname. “Britty, get up! You have to see this!” It was Daniel! But it sure didn’t look like him. “Bub,” I gasped out. “What happened to you?” Daniel smiled and pulled me up saying, “Obviously, the same thing that happened to you! Come look!” I groggily walked behind Daniel and then looked into the long vertical mirror. “Oh, wow!” I yelled, suddenly alert.

My eyes were not my same brown colored ones anymore. The ones that now stared back at me were a sky blue color, Crystal blue. Any kind of light blue would describe the new color of my eyes. I turned to look at Daniel who said, “Man, Bit. Look at your hair.” I looked down behind me a the dark blue wavy lengths of hair that went all the way down to my ankles. I lifted a handful of it and just gawked at it in awe. “How am I going to walk with this?” I asked myself quietly. The only parts of my hair that were not wavy were the two medium sized ponytails that were in front of my face on both sides. The ponytails were held by a two silver holders with light blue snowflakes on it. My skin was the only thing that looked anything remotely like me. It was still the same light caramel brown color. I looked like some kind of elf of some sort. “Ice elf…” I mumbled. “What?” Daniel asked in confusion. I shook my head. “Nothing.”

I then looked down at Daniel, then myself and asked, “What are we wearing?” Daniel looked at his clothes in observance. “Obviously…December Snow, we are wearing Chosen One clothing made by the Chosen One…uh, dressmakers.” I rolled my eyes at his lame comment then turned to mirror again replying, “Thanks…Nightfire.”

Who was I?

I noticed a blue sapphire piece of jewelry on my face…either it was a tiara that could be a necklace or the other way around. I had on a long midnight blue dress that went over my shoulders. It looked kind of like something from the medieval times. There was a white belt in the middle of my dress that went all the way down to the bottom and on the ends of the dress, ends of the sleeves and on the circumference of my shoulders, there were white strips with blue sparkle like snowflakes stitched into them.

Daniel was wearing a dark blue outfit that consisted of a vest that went all way to his dark brown hiking boots, a red long sleeved shirt, and dark blue pants. On his stripes, orange and red fires were stitched in to them. I couldn’t believe how well the transformations had changed us. We looked like completely different people. “Hey, come on. Let’s go wake up the others!” Daniel suggested. I nodded and we went to different sides of the train. Amber was struggling to get up and I grabbed one arm, helping her. “Hey Amber. How are you feeling?” Amber blinked painfully up at me and said, “Like shit. But, I’ll live.” I smiled at her trailing my gaze over her face and she paused for a moment before asking, “What?” She then looked at my new appearance and said, “What happened to you?” I didn’t say anything but led her to the mirror smirking. I wanted her to know that she now had red hair and yellow eyes.

Amber
I let Brittney pull me over to the mirror and looked into it. I nearly fainted at my new looks. My hair and eyes were stunning! “This must be my transformation.” I declared as Brittney nodded. “They go with the name Summer Rose really well.” It was true. The rose color of my hair and the sunshine qualites of my eyes made complete sense with my Chosen Name. I ruffled my curly locks as I asked, “What does everybody else have?” We both turned around to look at the other five people in the room.

Christian had shoulder length completely white hair and silver eyes. It was quite a difference from her sister. Charity had bright, and I mean bright yellow hair that harmonized well with her jade green eyes. The sisters were both gorgeous. Michael looked like a real man from the sun with all the orange in his hair. As he grimaced in pain and looked at me, his golden eyes gleamed from the light of the train. I looked over at Andrew who was just now getting up. I walked briskly up to him and said, “You all right, Andi?” When he opened his eyes and looked at me, I gasped. I thought Daniel looked evil enough, but Andrew toped it all with his dark spiked purple hair and light crimson eyes. He really looked like some kind of demon. “Amber, you look good.” He finally croaked, getting his voice back. “Thanks.” I said, smoothing my hair back. “You…do too.” We smiled, pleased at the results of our transformations.

Charity
After we got through scanning ourselves we sat down to talk about our different looks. Not only had we changed in our physical looks we had also gotten new clothes. I had on a orange long sleeved shirt cropped above my belly and a skirt. The thing about the skirt was that it was short in the front and long in the back. It was so cool. I was wearing orange boots and when I looked at the white strips located on the bottom of my sleeves, bottom of my shirt and the top of my skirt, I noticed a orange leaf imprinted on it.

I fingered the delicate golden chain necklace on my neck and then picked up the clock that was attached to me by other golden chain of beads . I don’t know where it came from but I knew it was here because of my powers. My hair was in to pigtails and two thick braids were in front of my face. That was the only thing I hated about the whole transformation. I hated it when hair was all in my face. I blew one of the braids out of my face and then observed the other Chosen Ones and what they were wearing. I had already seen Brittney and my brother’s clothes. I told Brittney that she looked like an ice queen and she laughed. Amber sat next to Brittney. She would have had a dress like Brittney’s but it was cut in half making it a shirt and a skirt set. a glimmering golden beaded belt with roses was around her waist and wedge shoes were on her feet. On her strips, roses were on her. Christian sat next to me. She was wearing a long sleeved white dress with thigh length splits all around it. So everywhere you could just see her legs. A link of silver bead went across and down the middle of the dress. Green snow capped pine trees were on her white strips. She looked like she was wearing white sandals on her feet. Those were the girls.

The other guys, Michael and Andrew both looked different. Michael had on bright orange coveralls and light tan hiking boots. On his strips he had, of course, yellow suns. What is a Sunstar with out suns? Andrew was wearing a red shirt covered by a dark purple ankle length jacket along with matching purple pants. He was also wearing black boots. His symbol looked to be a pair of glaring eyes. Creepy… I looked a little closer at everybody. It seemed like everybody had their own unique piece of jewelry; Amber’s was a golden ring with a ruby rose in the center, Daniel had a silver ring with a garnet in the middle, Brittney had a blue tiara, Christian had a silver hair pin in her head, Michael had a orange collar with golden spikes and Andrew had an silver upside down cross necklace with a ruby oval in the center. We were all so unique and cool. Just wait til everybody saw us at Hogwarts! They wouldn’t believe their eyes!

Andrew
“Okay, guys. Once we get to Hogwarts, we can’t call each other by our real names in public…remember that.” Daniel warned us. We finally settled down for a moment until we noticed that we were slowing. “Are we here?” Amber asked. We all ran up to the window. The castle stared right in the face. It looked like a dark gray fortress with golden lights everywhere. “Look! There’s the castle!” Brittney covered her chest with her hand. “Oh, wow! Its beautiful.” Finally the train stopped and we slipped on our new cloaks that were coincidently our colors and grabbed our things. Daniel grabbed Bloodshot’s box and said, “ We’re going to have to hurry when we get there.” Christian buttoned her cloak slowly. “ I wouldn’t be surprised if we are the last group there.” Brittney winced and replied, “I know, but maybe we’ll be there just in time.” I was ready to go. We walked to the exit and waited. The train door suddenly opened, Michael stuck his head outside then looked back at us saying, “ Come on! Let’s go, Chosen Ones!” Adrenaline flowed through my veins.
