Chapter 2: Returns

At Voldemort's House:

“Nagini! Come here girl!” Voldina hissed in Parseltongue. “We're going to Dracana's!”

“Father's going to have a fit when he sees Nagini,” Draconus said, eyeing the large snake that had slithered over to his cousin. “You know how he is about large reptiles.”

“Yes,” Dracana agreed, then hissed in Parseltongue to Nagini. “Come Nagini! We're going to see Uncle Draco!”

After Nagini had wrapped herself around Dracana's waist, the three teenagers glided out the front door, and disappeared into the woods.

 

At the small mansion, with Lily:

“So, we're done here,” Naville said, closing the spiral that lay in front of him, and setting down a rather fat quill.

“Perfect,” Lily said. “I need to get home before pop notices I'm gone again. Last time I thought I might've gone deaf from all the yelling he did.”
“Wow,” Annalise said, her eyes even larger than usual.

“He's really a stickler on where you go, and what you do, isn't he?” Janine asked, looking sadly at her friend.

“Duh,” Lily said, pulling open the large oak doors. “He's a father, he's supposed to be like that. See ya'll later!”

“See you later,” the triplets said in unison, all waving wildly. Selece and Naville waved as Lily stepped into he dark night, and raised the hood of her cloak, once more shadowing her face to the world. Naville shut the door behind her as she walked down the misty avenue that led back to Number Three, Grimmauld Place.

 

In the forest:

“Stop,” Dracana ordered, thrusting out an arm to halt her brother. Voldina slammed into Draconus's back as he nearly clothes-lined himself on his sister's arm.

“You want to change?” Draconus asked, holding Voldina, so she wouldn't fall over from the impact.

“Yes,” Dracana said, smiling. Looking to Nagini, she hissed, “Nagini, down.”

The three teenagers grinned at each other as they slowly began to transform. Dracana morphed into a gigantic onyx dragon, with crimson eyes. Draconus became a full-grown Komodo dragon, with electric-blue eyes, that shone from their sockets. Last, but not least, Voldina changed into a Basilisk, about the same size as Nagini, with granite eyes.

Dracana lowered one of her enormous, leathery wings, to allow Nagini and her siblings to slither on. As soon as everyone was settled, she flapped her giant wings, and glided towards Malfoy Manor.

 

Inside Malfoy Manor:

“Where are our children?” Pansy asked, setting her coffee mug down with a loud thunk.

“I don't know,” Draco said, taking a large swig of Vodka from the bottle he was holding. “OH MY GOD!!!”

“What?! What is it?!” Pansy shrieked, panicked by her husbands sudden outburst.

“D-d-d-d-d-DRAGON!” Draco stuttered, pointing out the window, shaking like a leaf. Pansy looked to where her husband was pointing, and frowned.

“Dracana, you know your father hates large reptiles…” she growled, glaring at the dragon, thinking her daughter had stolen one from the reserve, and brought it home. Grabbing Draco by the collar, Pansy dragged him outside to wait for their children.

Outside Malfoy Manor:

Dracana landed on the front lawn of Malfoy Manor, and allowed Nagini and the others to climb off of her back, before reverting to her original human form.

“Nagini, up!” Dracana hissed, staring at the large snake that lay next to her foot. As soon as Nagini was around her waist, Dracana held out a hand, for Voldina to slither up, and rest on her shoulders.

“I'm sorry, brother,” Dracana said, looking sadly at the Komodo at her feet. “I can't carry you with Voldina and Nagini on me.”

The Komodo bobbed his head once, and started to walk towards the mansion, his electric-blue eyes sparking. Dracana followed, running her hand over Nagini's scaly head. She narrowed her crimson eyes, focusing on her father, who was trying to hide himself behind her stern-looking mother.

“Hello mother, father,” Dracana said, smiling venomously at her terrified father. Pansy was holding fast to Draco's ear, keeping him from fleeing into the safety of the house.

“Where's your brother?” Pansy snapped, looking at her daughter.

“He's laying by my foot,” Dracana replied simply, looking lovingly at the Komodo dragon that lay, half asleep, at her feet.

“Don't be ridiculous!” Pansy said. “Draconus is not a lizard!”

“Brother?” Dracana said, looking back to her mother. The reptile at her feet slowly transformed into her brother, who stood up, and brushed himself off.

“Mother, father,” Draconus said, nodding to his parents.

“Alright,” Pansy said. “Who are the snakes?”

“I hope you remember me, Aunt Pansy,” Voldina said, after reverting to human form. “Uncle.”

“And I hope you two have not forgotten Nagini!” Dracana said, still petting the snakes head. “She would be quite hurt if you didn't.”

“Dear God, save me!” Draco whimpered, then fainted.

“Now look what you've done!” Pansy snapped, looking at her crumpled husband. “Help me get him to bed.”

As soon as Draco was in bed, with a giant mug of steaming hot coffee, Voldina and the twins went to their room, and shared stories of how they tortured muggles that summer.
