Harry Potter - Series Fan Fiction ❯ Masquerade ❯ Comfortable Positions ( Chapter 3 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
A/N: Actually, I don't have school today, it starts tomorrow. Sadly…So anyway, I promise that I will update My Sweet Ecstasy, My Secret Addiction sometime this week. And to be honest, none of my stories are going where they were originally planned to go, but oh well. It's all for the better I suppose and it's made a bunch of my fics longer than they were originally going to be. Hahaha, thank you so much for the reviews! They mean a lot to me. Tennis at 3:30 until 5 and school tomorrow. Tennis practice everyday after school, oh no. I'll barely have any time to update. But I definitely will this Saturday! Because I'm not supposed to be on the computer to be honest, I'm supposed to be cleaning and preparing for school tomorrow, but honestly, who really wants to do that? And I'm a VERY terrible person because I have not yet finished my first FanFic, which is a Clique one, but whatever. Okay, okay. I'm DONE blabbing now.
&& DarknessIsMySanctuary - I'm pretty sure that you have nothing to do with it, it's just that the writers are lazy…someone should get them off of their lazy arses! & Maybe if you likes this fic, you'll read my other ones too.
Important Note: Hermione and Ron didn't go out or anything, they're just friends. Sort of. I mean he sort of likes her, and he- oops, about to give something away, okay so Ron likes Hermione and that's all you need to know! Mwuahahaha! Hahaha, and Hermione and Draco will continue to hate each other until the ball. And after that…well, I can't give too much away. You'll just have to read and see!
I Need Your Opinion: What do you think about some Ron/Pansy in this fic?
OKAY! Now I'm done.
. . .
Gryffindor Common Room
. . .
In the past week, everyone that was in the fifth year and up in Gryffindor had been preparing for both the dance and for the trip to Hogsmede. All of the girls could not wait to get their hands on the dresses in town. Lavender had been talking about a particularly slutty dress so that she could show Ron what he had given up on after he broke up with her in their sixth year. Hermione had also heard that, even though Harry was with Ginny, some girls would try to slip him some love potion.
“Watch out Harry.” Hermione warned. “Ginny would listen to you for the rest of the year, then she'd kick you out of the Burrow, and then she'd-”
“I get the point.” Harry said.
Hermione smiled.
“Good.” Hermione said.
“I can't believe we're stuck with Blaise.” Ron said as he exited the boys' dormitory.
“I know what you mean.” Harry said.
“You think you've got it bad?” Hermione asked hotly.
“Oh yeah. Sorry `Mione.” Ron said, remembering that his best friend was stuck in a group with Malfoy of all people.
Hermione rolled his eyes at him.
“Hogsmede today.” Hermione said happily.
“I know.” Harry said.
“Yeah, the girls won't stop talking about it.” Ron said.
“At least they're talking to you.” Hermione smirked.
“What's so funny about it?” Ron asked.
“Lavender's been spreading some nasty rumors about you so that you wouldn't have a date to the ball and you'd end up asking her. It's a rather stupid plan if you ask me. And it's full of faults.” Hermione said.
Ron laughed.
“Why would I ask her? Does she think I still fancy her or something?” Ron asked.
“Obviously.” Hermione replied.
“Here she comes…” Harry said absentmindedly as Lavender came down from the girls' dormitory with Parvarti Patil.
Ron looked at Hermione and started to engage into what looked like a very interesting conversation. Ron didn't feel like being bothered by Lavender.
“Hey Won-Won.” Lavender cooed as she swept past him. “Catch any dates for the ball yet?”
“Yes in fact.” He replied smartly.
Lavender furrowed her brows and glanced at Hermione with a poisonous look before darting out of the Gryffindor common room.
“You have a date?” Hermione asked with a very small hint of jealousy.
“No.” Ron replied honestly. “I just didn't want her to think she's beaten me is all.”
Harry smiled at his best mate.
“Brilliant.”
. . .
Slytherin Common Room
. . .
“Oh Drakey-poo! This is dreadful!” Pansy said as she looked into the mirror and fixed her hair again. “How am I supposed to look my best when I can't even get my hair to stay put?”
“At least it's not like that mudblood Granger's hair.” Malfoy smirked.
That made Pansy smile. She turned to him and jumped on him.
“You always know just what to say!” Pansy said happily.
Malfoy rolled his eyes.
“Um, I'll wait for you or something. I have to meet up with Blaise.” Draco said, not meaning a word of it.
“Great!” Pansy said, her eyes shining.
Draco rushed down the stairs and hurried to the Great Hall, where his best friend, Blaise Zabini, sat at the Slytherin table.
“Why the hell did you leave me alone with Pansy?” Draco asked.
“I was bored. And the sight of her was giving me such a headache!” Blaise complained.
Draco smirked at him.
“Everyone thinks that.” Draco said.
“Yeah, I know.” Blaise said. “Let's get to Hogsmede before she tries to come with us.”
Draco nodded hastily.
. . .
On The Way To Hogsmede
. . .
“So how do you expect to ditch Parkinson and her wild friends during the dance?” Blaise asked Draco.
“I've cooked up a brilliant plan.” Draco smirked.
“Oh yeah? Like what?” Blaise questioned.
“I'll tell Pansy I'm getting her a drink, then run off and push some loser guy into her arms while they dance the night away.” Draco finished sarcastically.
Blaise sniggered at his response.
“That's bloody brilliant.” Blaise smirked.
“Of course it is I came up with it.” Draco said.
They smirked at each other. But then they heard footsteps fast approaching behind them.
Draco turned around in case it was Pansy, but it wasn't.
It was Hermione Granger.
She was rushing at him at full speed.
Down a slope.
Not a very good idea.
She wasn't even looking where she was going, she was just running down the slope towards Hogsmede, trying to avoid Ron and Harry from asking her anymore questions because when she didn't answer, Ron would tickle her.
She was moving so fast hat Draco didn't even get a chance to move out of the way.
So he got hit.
“Oomph!” Hermione cried as she fell on top of the Slytherin Sex God.
“Ouch!” Malfoy said.
“Sorry, I'm so sorry I-” Hermione started, but then she realized who she was talking to. “Ew.” Was all she said before she sat up, not yet knowing that she was on top of him.
Draco thought that she was very warm. And, if you bothered to look at her, she was almost…pretty.
Malfoy didn't seem to make a move to get up thought.
“Aren't you going to get up?” Hermione asked.
“I…” But Draco's voice trailed off.
Blaise chuckled.
“Comfortable there, mate?” He asked.
“Shut up, Blaise.” Draco said.
“What are you-” Hermione stopped talking as she felt something rather hard against her thigh. She flushed a brilliant shade of scarlet and pushed herself off of him.
Draco smirked at her.
“Comfortable on me was it?” Draco asked.
“I…I'm sorry. I…I didn't know that I was…that I was on top of…you.” Hermione mumbled, not looking him in the face.
Draco and Blaise looked at each other and smirked.
“Sure you didn't.” Draco said.
Hermione blushed an even darker shade of scarlet, if that was possible.
“Well it's not like you made a move to make me get off.” Hermione muttered.
Draco could think of a good comeback and Blaise sniggered at him.
“She's got a point there, mate.” Blaise said.
“Shut up.” Draco said.
By now, Hermione was standing, looking back up the slope. She could see Ron's red hair rushing down towards her and she couldn't help but smile.
She was going to run towards him, but she was suddenly knocked down.
She found herself flat on her face in the ground with Draco and Blaise laughing at her.
“Jerk.” Hermione muttered.
She wiped off her face and she glared at Draco.
“What?” He asked innocently.
Hermione rolled her eyes. She made herself stand up and she walked over to Malfoy until his nose was almost touching hers.
“If you wanted to touch me, Granger, you could have just asked.” Malfoy said.
“All right then, Draco can I touch you?” Hermione asked sarcastically.
“Hmm…” Draco pondered.
But without waiting for him to reply, she punched his left cheek and turned around and ran towards Ron.
Draco was on the ground, yelping in pain.
Blaise was above him laughing his head off.
Draco sighed.
“Don't tell anyone!” Draco yelled.
“All right.” Blaise said, “but that's the second time she hit you.”
“It's not funny.” Draco muttered.
“Of course it is,” Blaise said. “Well, to me anyway.”
. . .
