Tell me this is a dream. I wish to wake if it is. I do not wish to know this nightmare anymore. Save me from this cruel world and myself. Is there one that can bring me back from this darkness and blood that spreads before me?

Alucard, my master. Seres, my sister and friend. Integra, my leader. Someone please tell me I am dreaming!

Chapter 5

(One year later)

I fell into the pool of blood under my feet, looking from the basket to my dead daughter. "Why am I dreaming this again?"

"A warning mother. A warning of this child that lays in the basket. "

"Who does she belong to?"

The child began to fade, unanswering my question. Looking up, I saw Seres once again in the corner crying. I stood up, drenched in blood, and began walking to her. Her eyes became big once she saw me. I kneeled down next to her and asked her what was wrong.

"I had to do it." She cried. "I had to kill her."

"You destroyed the child?" I asked shocked.

"I had no choice. Something made me do it. I couldn't control myself. I'm sorry." She wailed and then I noticed she looked behind me.

I turned and saw the child. Every part had the cuts and holes that were made but it wasn't a baby anymore. The child grinned at me like Alucard's famous grin then she lunged for Seres but I ended up blocking her.

The strength this child possessed shocked me. It took everything I had to hold her at bay then she disappeared in my hands and so did Seres. My stomach started to grind with pain. The pain was so unbearable. I fell on the floor screaming when I heard someone's voice.

"It will be over soon."

Blood was the last thing I saw as I opened my eyes to the darkness. My lid began to open and as I blinked to the light shining in, I saw Walter standing there. I sat up quickly and wrapped my arms around his waist and began to cry. He sat down beside me and held me tight, running his hand over my hair.

"That dream again?"

I nuzzled my face into his shirt. "It was worst this time. The baby wasn't a baby anymore and she walked up behind me and was going to kill Seres but I stopped her then I fell over with pain searing through my stomach. Walter, my daughter tells me it's a warning but a warning of what……will there be a child born that shouldn't be born? She had fangs and all the holes and cuts that she received when I saw her in the basket."

I felt Walter's lips on mine as he laid me back down. He paused for a moment to look at me as I looked at him.

"Walter. Make love to me."

He came back down and covered my lips with his. As we began our activities, I couldn't help but laugh at the memory of Seres catching us in the bathroom.

It was a two months ago when it happened. I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard a knock on the door. I thought it was Seres come to check to see if I was done yet so I told her to come in. As I pushed the shower curtain back, I noticed it was Walter. A smile appeared on my face as he locked the door and undid his ponytail. He started walking towards me as he unbuttoned his shirt. I stepped out of the shower and met him halfway. We began to kiss as he walked me back into the wall. He turned me around, so my back was facing him. My chest and face was against the wall as he pulled one of legs up and laid it bent on the sink.

As we were halfway in our session, we both turned to hear a grasp and a sorry before she ran out. We both found out she could faze through walls now like Alucard. It didn't stop us though. We continued after she left.

Walter gave me a questioning look and I told him not to worry about it, that it was just the memory of the bathroom. He gave me and evil grin and took me from the bed.

Walter had actually surprised me the first time we did anything. He had all the moves and speed of a teenage boy and then some. He found all the right areas the first round.

For us, anywhere we spotted each other, we would do it but of course it would be a spot where no one would notice and we had to have the time.

The first couple of months, it was more then a couple times during the night but then I slowed it down. He may be good but he still human and still getting old.

I woke up to a letter and a rose. I read the letter and drank my blood.

Walking up the steps I heard a noise. One of the maids were trying to find Joseph. I laughed at this as I opened the door. I felt the door push back towards me for a second and then crying. Joseph was sitting on the floor.

"Well watch where you are going." I lifted him up and called to the maid. "I found him!"

Walking through the hall, the maid came up to me and said thank you but I told her I would hang onto him for awhile. She bowed and left. I walked to Sir Integra's office with him and as I opened the door.

"What the hell is he doing here?!"

"You know why Angel. He came to see his son."

"Bullshit. Where was he a year ago?!"

Integra walked over to me and took Joseph. "Alucard, take her out of here."

"But….." I let go of Joseph with much regret as Alucard placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Enrico Maxwell is the rightful father much to my disapproval"

" Why is he now coming to see his son? This isn't right."

"That is between Master and Enrico Maxwell. I suggest you not let your feelings interfere."

We were out of the room when Alucard turned me to face him.

"You have been slacking on your training."

"Been busy."

"Yes. I have noticed you and Walter are always busy."

I changed the subject. "When will Seres be returning to us?"

"When her mission is over with. She is becoming the vampire I was hoping for."

"At least she is growing a backbone towards you now."

I turned when I heard no answer and he was gone.

"Master is calling us back."

I began to run back to the office. Integra looked up from her spot and looked straight at me. For some odd reason, I did not like that look she gave me.

"I will leave you three alone and go spend time with our son." Integra nodded and watched as he left out the door. She turned her gaze back at me and told me to sit.

"You will be assisting Alucard on a mission. The train that Walter left on this morning was found destroyed halfway. There has been no contact from him so far."

I kind of fell into a stupid state after I heard about Walter's leaving.

"Angel?"

"Why wasn't I told about this Sir Integra?"

"Walter was susspose to tell you. His reasons why he had not, I do not know. The freaks in America are getting out of hand so Walter was sent to assist Captain Victoria."

"Why wasn't Alucard sent instead?"

"He's needed here."

"He could have handled the freaks in America without a flinch and then returned here."

"Angel! What is done is done. More concerned matters is that train. The freaks are out of control. The population of ghouls is expanding rapidly. Seres and her men can take care of the infection there. I want you and Alucard to find the main house of these freaks. This must be stopped!"

Suddenly the radio came alive. "Sir Hellsing, this is lieutenant Broch. No survivors have been found and no sign of Walter's body has been spotted. It looks like these freaks were on the train already. These people were slaughtered. We have put down over 30 ghouls now. Lost two of my men. That's about it."

"Keep searching for Walter and dispose of any remaining bodies on that train."

"Yes ma'am. Over and out." The radio died

"Search and destroy, Master?" Alucard bowed before Integra. She only nodded to him as he disappeared into the ceiling.

I looked at Integra , bowed and left.

Days went by. Long days and long nights followed. It never stopped. More freaks began to show and more ghouls followed. My daily count of killing began to swim over five hundred per night. At this rate, there would be no human left in this city.

Alucard was doing his fair share of the damage as well and we finally figured where the base was for the freaks. We had discovered it was underground. Deep underground.

Alucard was the first to enter the warehouse, I followed. My anger over these beings had finally taken over and I let my vampire side totally take over. My humanity was buried deep inside me and I would not let it resurface till Walter was back home with me.

Alucard watched my transformation and he seemed to swim in the hate that radiated off me.

I walked in the room, putting down three ghouls. I walked over them, crushing their heads.

"This place stinks of old blood."

"Isn't it great." Alucard was enjoying his fun.

An explosion was heard and we both ran to the source. Someone had destroyed the freak's lab. It was the second lab that had been destroyed as we got close.

We killed everything in the place until all were silenced.

"Walter is home." He was gone in a matter of minutes.

I stood there and stared in the place where he was. "Damnit, stop doing that!" I yelled at the air.

A sound crossed my ears as I raised my arm and hit a ghoul in the face then I turned and smashed his face with my boot.

"When I tell you guys to die, die!"

I arrived back at Hellsing and rushed through the door. I ran into Integra and she pointed through the medical doors. I gasped as I looked through the double doors to the room. He was lying on a bed with doctors all around and I saw surgical stuff. I wanted to go in to see him but Integra shook her head no.

For three days straight, I constantly stayed by his side until the very end. The doctors came in to check on him and I went for a blood pack. Thirty minutes passed until my return. Integra was in there with Alucard and several of the soldiers. They all turned to look at me when the doctor walked up and told me what happened.

The blood packet I was holding dropped to the ground and splattered everywhere, my eyes went wide. What could I do, I was lost at that point.

"Walter….."

"Angel?"

" Can't be.."

"Angel!!?"

"No, this isn't right…."

I started to scream. I screamed until I lost control. With the final control gone, I ran out the door and disappeared.

"I will kill every last vampire that took you from me! Freak or not!"
