Alucard breathed in deeply, taking in the night's cool air and scents. He stood over the body of the victim. While citizens, police officers, and detectives ran around, he remained calm and gave the body another look. It was a young male, dead for about three hours.

He stared at the chunks that had been bitten out of him. There was on at his side, organs falling out, his right leg was nearly chewed off, his throat gnawed and ripped out, and his whole right forearm missing.

He smirked when he spotted animal prints leading away from the body and into the park. He stepped over the body and followed the prints. After a few paces, the vampire was a little surprised to find that the large paw prints formed into small, human feet.

He narrowed his eyes and looked into the stretching darkness. Something wasn't right. He pulled out his gun slowly and stalked after the footprints, conscious of his surroundings.

Seras peeked around a tree and watched as her master disappeared into the shadows. She started after him, glancing down at the body. Her expression contorted to a look of disgust and she held back a gag. She quickly ran past the body, the odor getting to her quickly.

She stopped and looked at the footprints. Huge animal paw prints then walking a few more steps they shrank and took to another shape to a human foot. She blinked and suppressed a shudder.

On the other side of the park, Seras walked around, hoping to find her master who had disappeared somewhere. She suddenly stopped when she heard a small whimper. She walked around a building and found a little girl, no more than five of six of age, huddled against the railing that separated her from the flowing river below.

"Hello?" Seras called gently, not wanting to frighten the girl. The girl looked up and watched her warily. Seras soon made her way over and she bent down. The girl gasped and backed up as far as she could against the railing.

"No, no! It's all right. I won't hurt you. What are you doing out here all by yourself?" The girl blinked and looked around.

"I'm not alone," she whispered.

"What? Someone else is here?" Seras looked over her shoulder and scanned their surroundings. No one was around except for the girl and her. She looked at the girl again.

"But, there's only us," she said. The girl shook her head and pointed in the direction that lead further away from the park.

"Nuh-uh. My big sister is here. Three big scary men started coming after us. She killed the scarier one over there, in the park. She went after the other two. I just hope she's okay. She's been gone for a very long time." Seras stared in shock at the little girl.

"The man in the park was attacked by some vicious animal, you're sister could--" she started. The girl's eyes narrowed and she stood up abruptly, surprising the young vampire.

"My sister isn't an animal! She isn't! She's the most prettiest sister in the whole wide world and she protects me from bad people like those men!"

"Dear, I didn't say she was an animal! You misunderstood--"

"Police girl!" a deep voice sounded from behind her. The girl before her gasped and recoiled in fear. Seras stood up quickly and spun around to find her master standing there.

"M-master. I-I was just talking to this little girl. Um, did you happen to see that body?" she asked quietly. Alucard nodded, but kept his gaze on the trembling girl before him. He raised an eyebrow and smiled, aware that his fangs were being revealed.

The girl squeaked and leapt to her feet and started running away. Alucard laughed and suddenly appeared in front of the girl. The girl cried out in alarm and fell back.

"What is a young girl like yourself doing out here so late. Many horrible things happen after midnight you know," he said in a teasing manner, knowing that he was scaring the child. Seras's eyes widened to the size of baseballs.

The girl cried out again when Alucard blocked her path. He glanced over at the young vampire. She was trembling as much as the girl was. He gave her a curious look.

"What's wrong with you, police girl?" he asked. Seras started backing away as she pointed behind him.

"M-ma-mast-st-ster!" she squeaked. Alucard blinked.

"What is it?" The girl before him started to smile. Just then, a shadow engulfed him and reached out to Seras's feet. Hot, breath reeking of fresh blood burned down his neck and back.

He spun around and came nose to nose with a black muzzle that was full of large, bloodstained fangs. Eerie gold eyes narrowed and a deep thunderous growl rumbled in its throat.

Alucard stared, his glasses sliding down his nose, his ruby eyes gazing back into the golden ones. The girl behind him squealed and ran around him to latch herself on the beast's jean-clothed leg.

Alucard began to back up slowly until he was standing next to Seras. The beast was tall, nearly eight feet. Blackest of fur covered it's finely muscular body save for silver tiger-like strips streaking over its thick arms, huge muzzle, and frizzy tail that was swishing in warning from behind.

Though the beast was covered in slick, black fur, tattered and torn pieces of clothing were around on its body. Blue jeans, torn at the knees with fur peeking out, clung tightly against its muscular legs and torn white sleeves hung loosely around its wrists like bracelets.

"You came back! You came back!" the girl squealed. The two vampires looked at the girl as if she had gone nuts then up at the creature. It lowered its golden gaze at the child and it extended an enormous hand towards her, its long, menacingly sharp claws that could rip flesh like tissue paper exposed in the silver moonlight.

What do ya think? Like my werewolf? >D Hope I did on this. Yes, even I'll admit that the beginning was dragged on and got a bit boring. ^^U
