Redemption
Chapter I Beginning
“Master!!” Dracula heard her voice but ignored it, it was his fight now. He had to end it or his opponent will, it was judgment after all. “Master!! No!!” Dracula charged in at the same time as his opponent rose up his sword. He waited for the impact but there was none. In front of him was his fledgling and in front of her was Abraham Hellsing, his sword going through her chest and out her back. Dracula stared at the bloodied sword then to his fledgling. She was still standing but barely moving.
“Master…”
“You’re such an idiot…”
“…love you…” His eyes widened as Abraham pulled his sword out and she fell to the floor.
“Adel…”
“So, someone did truly love you but you let her die. That is your own fault in protecting her.”
“If I had known you would have been dead weeks ago.” Abraham looked at him in surprise as he picked up Adel and carried her to the castle. Dracula laid her in her coffin and closed it tight.
“What are you going to do now vampire. Is there anything left for you in this world?”
“I said that if you defeated me I will be your servant and the servant of your predecessors.”
“I have not defeated you Dracula. Your are still standing”
“You killed the only thing that I actually held dear. In my mind you have defeated me.”
“Dracula…”
“What is it that I have to do?”
Seras awoke with a start. It was the same dream every night but she started to believe that it was more of a memory than a dream. Every time she had it she saw Alucard and at the end of it he kept calling her Adel. Seras shook her head as her coffin bed opened to reveal the very being her thoughts were on. Seras sighed and got up, it was going to be a long day.
