Prologue

It was said to have happened in a flash. The year was 2015 A.D. and the humans went along their merry way. Within the Middle World’s mirror plane, Lucifer with the aid of Azreal signed a contract with Cronos, Zeus, and Ares. A war to decide the fate of the Upper and Lower Worlds. Yahweh’s power seemed to be growing and the Light Ones (as they were later called) did not wish for the Fallen children of Yahweh to rise up with him against them. So it was war, no treaty could be reached between the two. The Light Ones felt the Fallen (Those that were of the Lower World and were not deities) were less then them and the Fallen wished for equality. The Dark Ones (Those that were deities that resided within the Lower World) took no part in the meetings. They did not agree with the Light Ones but did not wish to war with their family over those that helped them. They understood that a war with the Light Ones and Dark Ones would bring about the end of existence for everything. The contract was signed and every human disappeared from the Middle World to travel to the Upper World or Lower World depending on where they were destined to go. The Middle World would be the battle ground and as the Fallen sounded wicked horns that could bring blood to a mortal’s ears and the Light Ones sounded trumpets of crystalline sound, the war began…
The Fallen rallied forces to exterminate the Light Ones to show their equality and a war raged for many years. The Dark Ones healed the Fallen that were too wounded to continue to fight. Many died of the Light Ones and the Fallen. Yahweh sent his children to hinder both sides so he could take over and reign supreme and unquestioned. Before all was lost, the Fallen realized that without the Dark Ones to aid them more then healing; they were fighting a loosing battle. Lucifer, Azreal and the seven Princes of Dominion of the Lower world met with Cronos, Zeus and Ares once more. They recognized that they may destroy many of the Light Ones but at too high a cost and signed a treaty. The Fallen agreed to surrender and were forever banished to the Lower World, never to interfere with the affairs of the Middle World again. The Treaty also held a clause to curse the Fallen, making them mortal and sterile.
Unfortunately the Fates that existed outside the fight and were neither light nor dark saw the balance being disrupted and cursed the gods with mortality as well and all humans began to fade from the Upper and Lower world. The Light Ones found out only too late and the Treaty could not be undone for the Fallen no longer trusted the Light Ones. A Dark One stepped forward before a second war erupted within the Lower World as the Light Ones tried to enter. Hecate spoke of a child of great power that existed. A child of the Fallen that would set the Treaty aflame and stop Yahweh on his seemingly endless power increase. They would help bring about the age of mortals again, giving them the mortality of the gods and Fallen. The fighting subsided and the Light Ones went to try to research which child would be the one Hecate spoke of. The Fallen went to their labs and tried to find a way to undue the damage of the curse. A shaky peace existed but if a Fallen traveled to the Middle World and was caught by a Light One, it was the decision of the Light One on the repercussions for the act. The year is 3.5 Billion A.H. and the Light Ones are growing desperate for already Cronos has died of mortality, within his sleep and every one fears that they may be next. The world has already gone through two ice ages and has swallowed all traces of the mortals that once existed there. Everything was calm atop the surface but confusion and fear was turning below trying to engulf the Upper and Lower World.
Not long after the Light Ones spoke of going against the Fallen again to try and find the child did Hecate once again step forward with Hel and Nepthys to tell that the child would soon come. Things subsided once again and the worry continued to build. Was this the final days of the Gods and have Yahweh take over as ruling unopposed? Only time would tell.
