~*~*~Back At Naraku's Castle~*~*~
"Mel.Where's is you sibling?"He was not looking at her but she could feel his icy eyes.
She bowed in the direction of his voice and lifted her head to speak.
"Zel is on the battle field.He was fighting Sesshoumaru,Inu-Yasha's half brother."
His icy glare turned into a look of pure hate and fire.
"Do not speak of that half demon around me!His woman is the one that made me immobile.His dead preistess is the one that constantly irritates me!"A large miasma was forming around him in his anger.She knew it was her time to leave.
She stood upstraight once again and dissapeared into the shadows.
"Yes Naraku."
She walked swiftly to her room.At least there she would have some peace.She slipped off her sandals and put her house slipper on.When she opened her door and entered she welcomed with Megami's cold glare.
"Oh stop looking at me like that.It's not like I hurt you...yet."She walked to where Megami was tied up on her bed and sat down.
"You're a good girl aren't you?I bet you've never done a bad thing in your life.You're too good you know it?"Mel wasn't eally talking to Megami more like *at* her and while she was she had been stroking Megami's hair.This disturbed Megami greatly.Mel was treating her like a pet.
"Don't worry Megami,I won't hurt you...unless you irritate me."Mel was seriously disturbed,it was easy to see.Megami guessed it was from the time spent with Naraku.Mel had already explained her hole life at this castle and about who lived in it.It sounded like a horror story of some kind.
"Megami,if I wasn't a demon do you think I could have friends?I think I would,but i've never had any.I just had my brother."
She propped Megami up to a sitting postision and laid her head in Megami's lap,like a small child would.Mel closed her eyes and laid still.
'The poor girl.She's never had a mother,that must be why I'm here.I guess I'm some kinda of replacement for that void.I feel so sorry for her,even if she is a demon who kidnapped me.'
Megami slowly rocked back and forth as best as she could as if she was trying to comfort Mel,but the ties were stopping her though.Mel looked up at her and saw the kindness in her eyes and decided it would be best if Megami was untied.Mel slowly untied her and layed back down.
"Mel,I bet you're a good girl too.You just need some friends and a mom."Megami hugged Mel in a motherly way and sang a lullabye her mother had sung to her as a child.
"I'm looking for a destiny,a destiny with you.I'm looking for a destiny,please take my hand and come with me.Looking for a destiny,isn't that what we're all doing?We're all looking for a destiny as time slips by like a breeze..."Megami smiled,her song worked.The young girl was asleep.
"I hope you find a mother one day Mel but I'm sorry I can't be her right now."She slowly pushed Mel off her and slid off the bed silently.This room was very large,it had two beds and three big windows.It was probably Mel and that boy's room.She exited the room and wandered the halls.This place was larger than Sesshoumaru's old home!There were things she had never seen before and many things she didn't want to see.But even with such grand furnishings the house was still dark.An eerie presence surrounded it and it made her shiver.But as she wandered the halls it seemed like she knew the place,like she'd been here before or she knew something about it.Like it was a real person instead of a house.The lighting went dim and made her shiver.
"I...I wonder where I am exactly."
A cold wind blew through the hall and the lights went off.
"Woman!Who are you and what is your business here?"
Megami's eye were adjusting to the light as a figure of a teenage girl soon became visible.She couldn't really tell but it seemed that her hair was black.And the girl's red eyes were staring directly at her. She had a fan covering the bottom part of her face.
Megami bowed to be polite, although she didn't know why.
"I am Megami and I do not belong here.What mean is that I was brought here against my will by Mel."
The girl sighed and the lights came back on.She moved a feather in her hair and then readjusted one of her long green earrings.
"That Mel!She may be the oldest one here but still her and her stupid brother are the most ignorant ones here!"
Megami blinked in confusion
'Maybe they're not all that close then...'
The teenager bowed.
"I am known as Kagura.I am the controler of wind and the dead are my puppets that dance for me well."
Kagura stood straight.
"It is actually nice to meet a human with a sense of style.You're face and hair is beautiful as well.But then again there is something different about you.."
Megami looked at her dark pink and white rose decorated kimono and blushed.
"Thank you,that's very kind."
Kagura nodded and continued.
"I can tell by your kimono you are from the land that lies to the east of the castle.And those pearls that you have as earrings are pink unless my eyes decieve me.They're made in your village I suppose?Tell me,what clan are you from?"
Megami touched her earrings and looked at Kagura.
"I am from the Banbara clan.We are known for our beautiful land and gardens."
Kagura nodded and turned around.
"I figured that much,it was actually pleasant meeting you.Now I suggest you return to Mel's room unless you want to deal with someone worse than me.Just pray no one else finds you as easily as I did,I wouldn't consider everyone around here completely sane."
A wind blew through the hall causing the light to flicker again and Kagura was gone.
"Kagura?Hey wait!Which..which way is back?"
Megami took a few uncertain steps backwards and looked around.Nothing looked as she remembered,when she was talking to Kagura she must have forgotten some of it.That was the only possible answer wasn't it?Then she saw something move out of the corner of her eye and she turned around quickly trying to see if anyone was there.There wasn't.
'What's going on here?'
She walked to the place where she had seen something move but it was nothing other than a solid wall.Her hand raised and then layed on the wall to make sure it was solid.
"What the?!"
Her eyes widened and she jerked her hand back.
"The wall moved!"
She fell over from the suprise.And she moved backwards alittle while still on the floor.
"How can that be?How can a wall move?!"
She gasped and then covered her mouth with her hand.
'That must be why nothing looked the same and why the house felt like a person.But what kind of magic could do this?'
An echo of feet could be heard coming from down the hallway.
"You make alot of noise Megami.You should be careful."Mel bent down and grabbed Megami's hand.
"Let's go,Zel has returned which means your dear Sesshoumaru has failed you."
Megami pulled away.
"No that...that can't be true!"Megami fell to her knees.
'I finally find him,find the one I love,and then..and then he...'
Mel picked Megami up and carried her back to her room.Zel had been waiting for them to return.
"Mel,I have one question.Why'd you bring Megami here?"He looked at Megami and smirked."I'm not complaining just curious."
Mel looked at Zel and turned away.
"I'm not sure really,something just told me to."She just shrugged and sat on the bed.
"So Megami,"Zel walked up to her and lifted up her chin with his hand,"You must be some lover to have such a high breed of demon like Sesshoumaru to fall in love with you."
He tilted her head this way and that examining her.
"I have to admit you are quite the looker.You know if you stay with him much longer you'll be expected to bare his child,and you know what?"
Zel took both of Megami's hands and held the and then pulled her closer to him.Megami shook her head as a response.
"When you do have his child,it'll be a half-breed."
He smiled evilly.
"And Sesshoumaru hates nothing worse than a half breed.You of all people should know that,or were you just trying to deny reality?"
Megami turned her head away.She didn't want to hear this,she knew it was true but still she didn't want to hear it.
"Just leave me alone,why should you care about my personal business anyways?"
Zel forced her to face him again but let her hands fall.
"Well, well.Are you crying? You poor thing you must have finally come back to reality.Heh,it's your own fault."
Megami tried to wiggle free of his grasp but he was stronger than her.
"Just let me go! I haven't done anything to you!"
Zel grinned and leaned his face to Megami's.He wiped away the tears with hand and actually looked concerned,but then went back to normal.
"No but your man has."
He pointed to his face.
"Do you see this horrible mark here? It's because of him! My face was beautiful until he scarred it.And now you will stay here until he comes to get you and then I will finish him off.But until then you are my woman."He had his mouth just an inch away fom Megami's.
She turned away.
"Don't you dare touch me! I'll never be yours..."
She didn't get to finish her sentence.Zel had put his lips gently on hers but not completely.
"Is this the only way to shut you up?Shh..."
He lifted Megami's hands over her head and held them against the wall.Zel finally kissed her fully.He closed his eyes and was enjoying it..Megami tried to pull away but he was just too strong,she could barely move.She tried moving her head but each time she did Zel would move with her.He put his free hand on her neck and pressed a sensitive spot that made her lift her head making the kiss deeper.Zel moved his hand up to her cheek and he gently cupped her face rubbing her cheek with his thumb.Then he let his grip loosen on her wrist and let them fall to her sides as he took one in each hand and broke the kiss.Megami tried to move away but he had his body against hers trapping her.Zel pulled away alittle but still held her where she was and laughed lightly.
"That look on your face was priceless.And your kiss is so sweet.I should try it again sometime and it might be better for you if you agreed to it next time."
He let Megami go and turned around.
"Now your free,I just wouldn't advise leaving the room unless you want me to find you alone in the halls."
He looked over his shoulder and winked at her.He sat down in a chair next to his bed.
Megami turned bright red,half with embarrasment and half with anger.
"How dare you kiss me and then say such things!Mel how come you're not helping me?"
She looked towards Mel,she had fallen asleep.Zel smiled.
"That girl can sleep through anything.You could shout all you want but she won't wake up."
Megami pointed to herself and then him.
"So I'm stuck with you all night,alone?!"
Zel looked away and blushed.
"Don't say it like that! It's not like I'm so rude as to go farther than a kiss!I'm not that kind of person.Trust me I'll be a complete gentleman... until tommorow that is."
Megami glared at him.
"Good, just make sure there's no wandering hands tonight!"
She sat in a near by chair.
Zel raised up both his hands in defeat and sighed.
"Alright, alright.But why don't you sleep on a futon or something?You'll be stiff in the morning if you fall asleep in that chair."
He walked across the room to the closet and pulled out a futon.He smiled kindly and layed it out.
"Here use this,it's pretty comfy."
Megami nodded and smiled back in spite of herself.
"Thank you."
Zel just nodded his head and spoke as he walked to the bathroom.
"You can change in here,Mel put you out some clothes.They're over there."
He pointed towards a small dresser.Then he pointed to himself and then the bathroom.
"And I'll change in there."
Megami nodded and made sure he had gone into the bathroom before changing.
'Maybe he's not as bad as I thought, just kinda perverted.'

=+= WHAT THE?! He kissed her?! That's not how I planned it at first! :slaps herself: Ok,sorry bout that.It's 3 in the morning and I'm spazzing out.This chapter is now a two part chapter.And just so you know this chapter came out the complete opposite of the rough draft.I have no idea what happened@_@.JUST LEAVE COMMENTS!
