"What?" Leyna turned around.
'What is that tatoo on your shoulder?"
'You mean the crescent moon with the star in it s crook. I saw it in a speacial dream, so I had it tatooed onto my shoulder."
"Oh. The boxes are outside your door. " Inuyasha walked out for a second and came in with several big boxes. "So what should we start with?"
Inuyasha and Leyna spent three hours packing up he rbedroom. Leyna noticed there were still empty boxes so she spoke up.
"I have esome more personal stuff up in the attic. Want to help?"
"Of course." Inuyasha followed her up to the attic. When Inuyasha walked in, he was amazed at what he saw. Leyna had set up her easel and paints in the attic. She had also decorated the place with furniture and paint. In the corner of the attic was an old oak trunk with carvings on it.
'So what do you think?"
"You are too creative. "
"Gee, thanks. The only stuff I want to take are my paints, easel, and my brushes."
"What about that trunk over there." Inuyasha pointed at the trunk. Leyna looked at it.
"I've never been able to unlock it. Do you think you could use a claw to get it open?"
"Maybe." Inuyasha walked over to the chest and knelt in front of it. He looked over the surface expecting it to be smooth, but instead he found designs carved into it, including one that matched Leyna's tattoo. He stuck his pinkie claw into the lock and tried to pick it. After just a few seconds it opened. Leyna knelt beside him and opened the lid, or at least tried to. It was too heavy for her to open on her own. She looked over at Inuyasha and he nodded. He helped her open it and they both looked inside. There were several old books. Leyna picked one up and tried to open it, but it too was locked. She looked at the book more closely. It was leather with a gold crescent moon and a star in its crook, just like her tattoo. She dug around the chest and found a smaller unlocked one. She opened it up and gasped. Inuyasha turned to see her pulling out a crystal hanging from a very long silver chain. Leyna slowly slipped it over her head. The crystal rested right between her breasts, which were now under Inuyasha's gaze.
"Ahem. My eyes are up here."
'Oh, sorry." Leyna turned back to the chest only to pick up a soft, lavender gown.
'its the one from my dream, but it can't be.' she thought. Inuyasha looked at her to see how she was looking at the gown. She sat it back in the chest and shut the lid. She stood up and turned away.
"We need to finish packing" Inuyasha could smell her tears, but didn't say anyhting, just began to put her things in boxes. It only took them ten minutes to finish. Leyna picked up the old book as Inuyasha grabbed the last boxes. They walked out to his car and put the boxes in his trunk and back seat. He turned to her wanting to ask about her vision, but she was walking back into the house. She went back into her room and knelt down in front of her bed. She reached under and pulled out her dream and vision diary. She walked back outside not even bothering to lock the door. She got in the car with Inuysha and opened her diary. She looke dat him with tears in her eyes, and whispered," This is what you wanted to know." Inuyasha began to read the entry.
' I found myself standing in a room surrounded by a doctor, a midwife, and a woman giving birth. As the baby was delivered, I heard the doctor say,
"This child was born of Angels. She will be a powerful woman." As his last words were spoken, the room began to fade away. I once again found herself standing in complete darkness. As I stood there, in a place between time and reality, another scene began to play out before her. Iwas in a hotel, with Inuyasha and all of our friends. The hotel seemed like an old Irish castle, the kind I often dream of. We were heading outside, when Inuyasha asked where Kagome was. Someone told him she was sick and was still asleep. Koga wasn't there either, but nobody asked about him. Once again, the dark came in place of the scene, but quickly left. The scene in front of me was one I wish I never had seen. Koga was in bed, having sex with Kagome.'
Inuyasha turned to Leyna with tears in his eyes. Leyna was crying as well.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want to hurt you again. But I knownow, that you would have hurt worse if you found out about them and about me knowing."
" I am hurt, but not because of you. It's because of Kagome. Remember that." Inuyasha turned away and started the car. She knew they weren't heading back to his house. They were going to see Kagome.
