Summary: Kalm at night. Tifa wakes up to find Cloud nowhere.

Tifa woke up. It was still night in Kalm. “Why am I in Clouds bed?” She questioned herself. `Maybe he is downstairs.' She thought. She got up and went downstairs quietly so no one would wake up. When she got downstairs he was nowhere to be found. She then went outside and explored outside he wasn't anywhere. She went back to the hotel and woke everyone up.

 

“EVERYONE GET UP!” Tifa turned on the light.

 

“Why the HELL are you waking us up Tifa!?” Barret asked.

 

“BECAUSE CLOUD IS GONE!!”

 

“I thought he would be out all night.” Red XII said.

 

“I need my beauty sleep Tifa so just wake me up in another 30 minutes.” Yuffie said.

 

“Vincent did you see Cloud?” Tifa asked him.

 

“Yeah.”

 

“Where did he go?”

 

“He picked you up set you on his bed and kissed you on the cheek, and said, `Goodbye for now Tifa.' And then said goodbye to everyone and then left with her.” Tifa blushed slightly and then went back to being mad.

 

“Who is HER?”

 

“Aeris.”

“AERIS!” Everyone said.

 

“Yeah, they leapt through a portal to another dimension.”

 

“Cid.”

 

“Yeah Tifa?”

 

“Get your airship ready. We are going to the Ancient City.”

 

“We are?” Barret asked.

 

“YES!” Tifa was pissed.

 

“Wait, wait, WAIT!” Barret exclaimed.

“Where were you when Cloud blacked out?” He asked Vincent.

 

“I was doing something that is none of your business.” Vincent replied.

 

“Probably seeing his girlfriend.” Cid whispered into Barret's ear.

Vincent's hearing was really good and pointed his gun at Cid.

 

“Don't talk about her!” Vincent exclaimed. He didn't like to talk about his past.

 

“Can we just leave?” Tifa asked impatiently.

 

“Yeah, let me get the guys ready.” Cid started for the airship.

 

“Red XIII?” Tifa asked.

 

“Yeah?”

 

“Wake up Yuffie.”

 

“Alright.” Red XIII started to lick Yuffie's face. Yuffie started to giggle and then woke up.

 

“Why did you do that?” Yuffie asked tiredly.

 

“Why else would I wake you up?”

 

“I dunno.”

 

“Exactly,Oh and can you please clean your face once in a while?”

 

Yuffie turned red in embarrassment. She then got up and looked at the group.

 

“Okay Tifa what did you want?”

 

“I'll explain later.” Tifa said.

 

“Oh, Come on Tell me right now!”

 

“You should have got up. Not my problem.”

 

“I have no idea what's going on.”

 

“Yuffie take a look around, who is missing?”

 

Yuffie looked around and then noticed Cloud wasn't here.

 

“Hey where's Cloud?”

 

“We have no idea. That's why we are leaving. To find him.”

 

“Oh.”

 

The PHS started to ring. Tifa picked it up.

 

“Hello?”

 

“It's Cid the airship is ready when you want to leave. Hey aren't you glad that we have a two extra PHS's?” Tifa hung up on him and rolled her eyes.

 

That gave her an idea. Tifa dialed Cloud's PHS.

 

“Uh, Tifa what are you doing?” Barret asked.

 

“Cloud should still have his PHS.”

 

“Yeah, what about it?”

 

“Well if he answers then he could tell us where he is.”

 

“Oh.”

 

`I swear, Barret is so stupid sometimes.' Tifa thought. Tifa pressed the send button and put her ear up to the PHS. It started to ring. It rang for at least 1 minute before a voice said, “ The number you currently dialed is out of order.'

 

Tifa hung up the PHS and put it in her pocket. She hung her head down and sighed.

 

“He didn't answer?” Yuffie asked.

 

“Nope. The number is out of order.”

 

“Hey, don't worry! We will find him. Got it?” Yuffie tried to cheer up Tifa.

 

“I hope so.”

 

“Hey this isn't like you to cheer someone up.” Barret said.

 

“Can't I be nice for once!”

 

“It be better if you were like that all the time. Not a thief.”

 

“I only did that once. Besides you got all of your materia back.”

 

“GUYS!” Tifa exclaimed.

 

“You might do it again.” Barret said ignoring Tifa.

 

“No I won't.”

 

“GUYS!”

 

“Yes you will.”

 

“No I WON'T!”

 

“SHUT THE HELL UP!” Tifa yelled really loud.

 

The arguing stopped and Yuffie and Barret looked at Tifa.

 

“We are leaving now!” Tifa pointed to the stairs.

 

“Alright.” Both said.

 

The group went out of the inn and boarded the airship.

 

“Ready for take off sir!” The pilot said.

 

“Alright, Everyone ready?” Cid asked.

 

Everyone nodded.

 

“Alright take off!” The airship flew into the sky toward the ancients city, Everyone hoping to find Cloud.
