(Okay, okay, okay, enough of this. It's just getting scarier by the minute. Let's NOT let the scene progress any further-with these two quinky lovers, you never know what might end up happening. So, meanwhile, back in the kitchen, Penguin is still trying to make cheese fondue using an outdated pre-made pack for lunch. At this point, she has the old fondue on the table and is beginning to dip bread into it with chopsticks when Heero and Kanna enter on the scene. Penguin does not notice. Slowly, the two advance, Heero holding a pink straitjacket and Kanna holding her mirror. Kanna whacks Penguin over the head with her mirror, thereby rendering Penguin unconscious and causing her to fall flat into her fondue. Heero then straps the straitjacket onto Penguin and drags her into a padded room. Heero and Kanna lock the door and return to the room with the screen. Meanwhile, back in the girls' dorm, where everyone is gathered….)

Relena: There are so many people missing! I mean, I haven't seen Heero in days!

Van: And I haven't seen Hitomi for a while.

Viole: *in tears* And Dilandau-sama is still not here! I think…he must…be…ch-ch-CHEATING ON ME!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

Quatre: And what about Penguin? And Folken? And now Duo, too? None of them are here!

Sango: *standing up on her bed* Everyone, your attention, please! *the room goes silent* People are disappearing, it seems several are being targeted each day, and to make matters worse, Naraku's youki has gotten noticeably stronger. We need to construct our own plan and have a plan of defense so that no one else is taken. I think it would be best if we all stay here together for the time being-there is strength in numbers, and many of the people still here are strong enough to protect the others.

Van: *standing* What about rescuing those who have been captured?

Sango: Well, at this point, we aren't even sure if they are captured, or where they could possibly be. We need to figure out what exactly is going on before we make any drastic moves.

Celena: *raising her hand* What we need is a spy. Perhaps Kohaku and I could spy. I'm good at finding information, and I still have some authoress powers, and Kohaku could protect us.

Sango: *hesitating* I don't know…it is a dangerous proposition.

Kohaku: It's okay, ane-ue. I won't let anything happen to us.

Celena: Everyone here has done so much for us, it's really the least we can do.

Sango: *sighing* Very well, then. If no one else has any objections…. *she looks around, but no one stirs* Then it's settled.

Kohaku and Celena: Arigatou. *they leave together*

Sango: *sits down on her bed looking troubled and pensive, remaining very quiet as everyone around her continues to talk fervently* …

Kagome: *sitting next to Sango* You okay, Sango-chan?

Sango: Hai. I'm fine.

Kagome: There's no need to worry about them. Kohaku is strong, he won't let Naraku do anything to them.

Sango: *smiles* Yes, he's grown a good deal. Even so, you should have seen him the first time he had to battle. He was so scared…so innocent…and even now, he still has some of that innocence. He's still a boy inside.

Kagome: Sure he is, but he is also more than just a little boy in other ways. He's gotten to be wise in some areas, and there are just some things that he has done that he will never be able to forget. I think he is more prepared than you might think.

Sango: …perhaps…

Kagome: Tell ya what, I'm going to go out and try to get some information, too.

Sango: What? But-

Inu-Yasha: *walking up behind Kagome* Don't worry, I'll go with her.

Sango: But don't you understand? We need to stay together.

Kagome: We won't be long, okay?

Sango: *sighs* Do as you please, I can't stop you.

Kagome: Cheer up, Sango. It'll all work out in the end. *she and Inu-Yasha exit, followed soon by Kikyou, who, too, is seeking information and does not trust that those who have gone thus far will do a competent job*

(Kagome and Inu-Yasha are walking down a darkened hallway, Kagome walking slightly in back of Inu-Yasha.)

Kagome: *cheerfully, quickening her step to come up next to Inu-Yasha* We haven't been alone like this for a long time, Inu-Yasha.

Inu-Yasha: Hmm?

Kagome: Well, ever since we got here, it's just been so eventful, and we've never really gotten a chance to just talk to each other.

Inu-Yasha: Yeah, I guess…

(Suddenly, up ahead, Kikyou walks through an intersecting corridor and disappears out of sight. Inu-Yasha watches as she passes, having not noticed their presence.)

Kagome: What's Kikyou doing out here?

Inu-Yasha: … *he walks forward and looks down the corridor, but she is out of sight*

Kagome: …

Kagome VO: And here it goes again…why does she always manage to come in all the wrong times?

Kagome: Inu-Yasha…? *no answer* Inu-Yasha? *still, no answer. Kagome starts to get a little angry* Inu-Yasha!!!

Inu-Yasha: *snapping out of it* Huh? What is it, Kagome?

Kagome: *obviously upset* If you want to follow her, go ahead! No one is forcing you to stay with me, you know!

Inu-Yasha: *a bit surprised* Wha? What are you babbling about?

Kagome: Well, it's obvious you don't want me around! So just go and find your precious Kikyou already! Stop trying to hide it-you're really bad at it!

Inu-Yasha: Eh? Hey, why do you think I'm here with you now, heh? I chose to be here, `member?

Kagome: *screaming* YOU JUST DON'T GET IT!!! Gah! I'm going to go search on my own! *walks away*

Inu-Yasha: Hey, wait a minute, you…

Kagome: OSUWARI!!!!!!!!! *B-TONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* STOP FOLLOWING ME!!!

Inu-Yasha: AHK! You witch! FINE!!!!! Just GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
