(Meanwhile, in the padded room where Penguin has been deposited, she awakens to find that the room is covered in pink fuzzy things!!!!!!!!!!!! The entire room is made of pink, and the floor is covered with pink in-style, far too tight and exposing pieces of clothes. She looked down to find that she was dressed in a long, frilly pink dress complete with bows and ribbons in her hair with stiletto pink heels complete with pale pink fuzz. Her hands are bound together so that she cannot take off what she's wearing, but as an extra precaution it seems she's also wearing pink undergarments. Hanging on each wall and on the ceiling there are mirrors so that no matter where she looks, she must see herself and the horrible PINKNESS of it all. She screams helplessly, trying to avert her eyes from the overpoweringly bright pink surrounding her, enveloping her….)

Penguin: I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! IT'S TOO PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M DYING, DYING, DYING!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, the cruel, cruel world! How could I end up in such a horrible place filled with clothes designed with people with the worst fashion sense EVER-oh my GOD!!! Is that a PINK LEOPARD SKIN SKIRT?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I'M DYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! (Okay, while Penguin is forced to face her worst fear-the color pink-Kikyou walks into the room with the screen, having retrieved her bow and arrows from the girls' dorm, an arrow fitted. She enters and sees Naraku, looking into Kanna's mirror at Penguin, and she aims for him.)

Kikyou: Naraku…shi'ine!

Naraku: Hmm…? Heero-

Heero: Hou. *he comes up behind Kikyou and hits the back of her head. She falls forward, unconscious, and Heero straps her into a machine in another room.*

(Okay, so back in the girls' dorm, once again, well, maybe not ONCE again, the remainder of the cast is still there, talking and waiting for their informant spy-a-majigs to return from their quests.)

Rin: I wonder where they all are…do you think they're okay, Sesshoumaru-sama?

Sesshoumaru: It does not matter to me how they fare, but if something does happen to them, I believe we would know.

Rin: Kowaii…

Sesshoumaru: *sigh* There is no need to be frightened. I, Sesshoumaru, am more than capable of protecting you.

Erinah: *comforting her child, rocking her soothingly* There, there, Sarinan. It will be all right.

Sango: I wonder what could be keeping them so late…they must have found something.

Erinah: I'm sure that they are fine. They are all very strong people.

Viole: *in the corner* I miss my Dilly…he's been gone so long, I haven't seen his beautiful face in days! *twitch*

(Suddenly, a gas with a faint odor begins trickling into the room through the vent, and people begin to doze off within a couple of minutes.)

Sango: *scrambling for her mask* What is this… *she falls asleep*

Relena: *covering her mouth* Sleeping gas? *slowly falls asleep*

Erinah: *covering Sarinan's mouth* What's sleeping…? *falls asleep, her hand dropping to her side, Sarinan falling to sleep against her mother's chest*

Sesshoumaru: *covering Rin's mouth* …

Rin: Mm! Sheshomahoo-sha… *falls asleep*

Sesshoumaru: *rests her down on her bed, his nose twitching at the smell, his body beginning to feel drowsy*

Karen: *panicked* Vhat ees happening? Vhy…. *falls asleep*

Quatre: Heero…? Only someone from our time would have this…. *falls asleep*

(Once everyone is asleep, Heero, Kanna, and Naraku roll in some trolleys and Heero and Kanna load the people onto the trolleys, Naraku overseeing their progress. Half of the trolleys are sent to the room with the screen, rolled by Kanna, followed by Naraku, and the other half are taken by Heero to the guymelef bay. Along the way, Sarinan falls off her trolley, and no effort is made to pick her up. Now, back to the alcove-balcony-a-bob (you know, like a thing-a-ma-bob, only not? Okay,okay, just humor me!)….)

Kagome: *holding up the Shikon shard that had been in the bullet* Well, at least we have the Shikon shard now instead of Naraku…one less shard means slightly less power.

Kohaku: Can I see it just once? I mean, I've been manipulated by it so frequently, but I've never actually ever gotten a good look at it….

Kagome: Sure, here. *hands him the shard*

Kohaku: *looking at it* So, that's it? *hands it back, not really interested* It looks so…harmless…it's hard to believe that a gem can hold so much power.

Celena: Yeah…but really, it isn't just a gem, right? It has to do with Midoriko, right Kagome?

Kagome: Yeah, I think…but you'd have to ask Sango for the details.

Kohaku: Yeah, that sounds right. I remember hearing something like that back when I still lived in the village with everyone….

Kagome: Hey, maybe we should go and see how everyone is doing, now that we know that Sango was right and that Naraku's plan depends on us being alone.
