(¡No más! We're getting all morbid minded writing all these Illusion Death thingees-we need a breather here! Okay, here's the breather. Ready? Go- Okay? You good? Good. Phew! Onto other shtuffy shtuff…. Kohaku, Celena, Kagome, and Duo (still carrying Hitomi, who has stopped muttering by this point, but still looked shaken) are walking along another creepy-like hallway when a shadowed figure came into view. It was slouched over and very fluffy-although not Fluffy himself-and it was muttering in a mip-ish kind of way.)

Duo: What IS that?

Kagome: I don't know…it looks like someone in a dark baboon pelt-but doesn't Naraku wear white pelts only?

Baboon: *turning to face them-yeah, it's a real baboon, dark furred, looking pretty pissed* Did you say…Naraku?!

Kagome: …

Duo: Did that thing just TALK?!

Baboon: What do you know about Naraku, the evil youkai who murders poor, innocent baboons for their pelts…? *sob*

Kagome: *approaching the baboon with the others close behind* Did someone you know fall into Naraku's hands?

Baboon: *still sobbing, only addressing the girls* Oh, my darling girlfriend! The love of my life! She was such a sweet, innocent young girl…so beautiful…ah, her pure white fur was so soft…*blushing*

Hitomi: *finally standing on her own* Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss, Mr. Baboon.

Baboon: It's Ms. Shnizzelfuss, actually.

Duo: But wait, didn't you say your girlfriend was killed by Naraku?

Baboon: I wasn't talking to you, inferior male being!

Duo: Eh…

Baboon: *coming up to Celena, tears in her eyes, hugging her* Oh, my Sisters! I need support from you from your female hearts…!

Celena: …?

Kagome: Well, eh, Ms. Shnizzerifugus…err…yeah…

Baboon: Oh please, dahling, call me Brunhilda.

Kagome: Brun…hilda?

Baboon: It's my stage name: Brunhilda Baboon. My real name is Brunhildershciimenmiliccafwuffywuffywiddlebaboonykinsy Shnizzelfuss.

Kohaku: Well, Ms. Brunhilda, is there anything we can do for you?

Baboon: *SSHHMAAAAAAAAAAACK! Kohaku flies across the room* Did I give you permission to address me so personally, vile male?!

Celena: Kohaku! You okay? *running over to him*

Kohaku: *getting up, unhurt, looking a bit shocked* Yeah, I'm fine…but what did I do to deserve that?

Celena: Eh…she's just weird, I guess.

Hitomi: So…Ms. Brunhilda…can we help you with anything?

Baboon: Just show me where Naraku is so I can kill him and avenge my lover's death!

Kagome: Join the club…. Well, I guess you can come with us. We're trying to defeat him, though I'm not sure how well Inu-Yasha's gonna take to this….

(So this weird little groupy-ma-jig-a-ma-bob runs into the room with the screen, as it's looking all glowy and weird and suspicious like. So, yeah, they see all the people trapped by the mechanical vines thingees, and Kagome realizes that these are the Illusion Death vines!!! -shock-)

Kagome: We have to free them from the vines! They'll all be killed if we don't!

Hitomi: What are those things?

Kagome: They're vines that use a person's deepest fear to catch them in an illusion and kill them. We have to wake them and get them away from the vines-but don't get caught in them yourself! Don't step on them!

Celena: Hai! *she rushes over to Allen and pries the vines from his chest, throwing them to the floor. He looks up, crouched on the floor, with mournful eyes glossy with tears he was trying to hide*

Allen: Celena…but you were…

Celena: It's okay, onni-sama. Everything is going to be okay. Now, come on, let's get out of here, okay?

Allen: *he stands slowly and Celena takes him to the door and then returns to awaken Jajuka*

Celena: *unwrapping the vines from around Jajuka, who is curled on the floor* It's okay, Jajuka! Come on, now. We need to go….

Jajuka: Celena! But, how…?

Celena: Come on, I'll take you over to the door….

Kagome: *she pulled the vines away from Karen and shook her awake* Karen! Karen! Are you all right?

Karen: *tears in her eyes* Dov…how could you, Dov…?

Kagome: Karen, it was just an illusion! Nothing you saw was real-it was all fake!!

Karen: *looking up at Kagome, not understanding* All…fake…?

Kagome: Yes, it didn't really happen. You're okay, and so is Dov. Now, come on, let's get you away from here… *helps Karen out the door where Allen and Jajuka are standing with Celena, then walks over to Erinah and pulls the vines away from her legs, trying to loosen Erinah's grip on more vines that she clutched to her chest*

Erinah: *crying* I'm so sorry, Sarinan…I failed you….

Kagome: Erinah! Snap out of it-it's okay! Sarinan is fine, nothing happened to her. It was an illusion, it didn't happen.

Erinah: What? An illusion…but, where is Sarinan?

Kagome: … *helping Erinah to stand* Let's get you out of here.

Kohaku: *cutting the vines with his sickle from around Zechs's arms* Hey…wake up! It's an illusion-just another trick of Naraku's!

Zechs: *opening his eyes* That *darn* Epyon system….

Kohaku: …? *helping Zechs up* Yeah, well, let's go over HERE now…. *he escorts Zechs to the door and then goes over to Shesta to pry the vines from around his head* Shesta…come on, now, wake up! It wasn't real-you were only seeing images, nothing more.

Shesta: I'm not worthy…

Kohaku: …well, you're not worthy of Celena-chan, at least…

Shesta: *snapping out of it* Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!

Kohaku: Ha! It worked.

Shesta: Eh?

Kohaku: Come on…. *takes him over to the door where there's a nice mob forming*

Duo: *he tears away the vines from around Viole, who falls to the floor, twitching* Eh…Viole? You alright, man?

Viole: I-it's not fair…there wasn't any fire….

Duo: O.o Nani o? Will you snap out of it, already! It wasn't real!

Viole: You mean Dilandau really IS good in bed?

Duo: O.o O_o X.x Tell me I didn't just hear that…. Guys, can I put him back?

Kagome: Will you just bring him over here?!

Duo: Yeah, yeah… *drags Viole over by the collar of his shirt, drops him off, and heads over to Gatti, pulling the vines from his scratched face*

Gatti: Why can't she see…?

Duo: Yo! *shaking him out of it* Wake up-it was all fake! Got it?

Gatti: Hmm…? Wha-where am I? Where is…?

Duo: Come on, let's get you away from these things…. *picks up Gatti and drops him off at the door with the rest*

Hitomi: *freeing Relena from the vines wrapped around her hand* Relena! Relena! Are you okay?

Relena: Please…tell me I didn't do it….

Hitomi: You didn't do it!

Relena: Really…?

Hitomi: Really! It was all an illusion-another trap, see? You're okay. You didn't do anything. *she helps Relena to the door and rushes over to help Van, who is covered by vines in a corner* Van!!!!! *she pulls at the vines with all her might until they begin to slip away slowly, revealing Van hunched over and clutching his knees, his eyes wide* Van-are you okay? Van? Van!

Van: Why do I always have to fight…?

Hitomi: Van…you don't have to fight anymore, Van. It's over, now.

Van: *looking up at Hitomi, his gaze softening* Hitomi…

Hitomi: *helping him stand* Come on, let's go, okay? *they walk out together and join the people waiting outside the door*
