An Inuyasha Naruto Crossover

Due to lack of time and… energy, we will NOT be finding any more songs to go along with the chapters. It's so much work and in order to update faster Chikata and I thought it was best. So from now on only a few chapters will have a song intro. -GinTsuki
Chapter 8
Re-sealing… the fast way.
Both Sasuke and Naruto arrived at Kagome's house, their brains spinning with all the new technology they had witnessed. Parking meters, cars… all that concrete. It took Kagome most the trip to explain the significance of cross walks to Naruto, who thought dodging between the vehicles was more entertaining. Sasuke however, only needed to be told things once and picked up the purpose of anything pointed out instantly.
Kagome unlocked her door and opened it, then moved aside to let the two students to enter first. Sasuke took the lead and immediately assessed anything he saw. It seemed like an old shrine house; two bedrooms, a livingroom, a kitchen and a bath, then a stair way leading upstairs. "The phone is in the kitchen. You may use it if you like." The girl said to Naruto.
The blonde instantly raced to the Kitchen and located the phone. It was then Sasuke realized something, and cursed himself for not figuring it out sooner. "Naruto… what's sensei's number?"
The silence that ensued was almost comical.
"Does he even have a fone?" Naruto asked, turning to Sasuke who rolled his eyes.
More silence followed as their plan was practically ripped to shreds and no new one rose to fill the space. They needed to contact their sensei, and as soon as possible. Sasuke sighed, "Who in Konoha has a fone?"
Sasuke's question was interrupted by the doorbell. "I'll get it!" Kagome said, turning to go answer the door. Meanwhile Naruto looked to Sasuke, "What's that?" He asked after hearing the doorbell ring a second time and Kagome answer it. The darkly dressed shrugged, "It sounds like bells." He turned to Kagome in order to see their visitor.
A man in unusual attire and bushy silvery hair was standing in the main doorway. His pale face was masked so Kagome was instantly creeped out. "Umm… Hi?" She said, hoping her wasn't some sort of psycho.
"KONNICHIWA!"
Kagome's estimation of the guest was being proved right. She sweatdropped but smiled cheerfully anyways. "Who are you?" She asked, still blinking in slight shock at his loud cheery greeting.
"Yo, you're Higurashi Kagome… correct?" He asked the faint outline of his mouth beneath the mask smiling.
"Hey…" Suddenly Kagome's friendly mask dissolved, a suspicous glare in its place. "How do you know my name… and who are you!?" She asked sternly, instantly having a dislike towards this odd man.
"Ahh… My name is Hatake Kakashi-sensei…"
Sensei…? "Oh… Then you must be Sasuke and Naruto's sensei…"
Kakashi nodded and smiled, "Is Sasuke or Naruto around?"
Kagome nodded and stepped aside to allow the man to enter. "Here, you can come in; they're in the kitchen, one sec." The girl raced down the hallway, Kakashi following at a slower pace. She entered the kitchen. "Hey guys… your Sensei is here…" She smiled at them as they blinked and turned to the figure behind her.
"Kakashi-sensei… we were just about to contact you…" Sasuke said shocked that their sensei would arrive abruptly at the Higurashi household without warning, and during the hours they would originally be at the school.
"YOU NEED TO FIX SASUKE'S SEAL!!!" Naruto yelled as he set down the receiver to the phone and pointed at Sasuke. The dark exchange student sighed, if their Sensei wasn't watching Naruto wouldn't be breathing at the moment.
Kakashi's eyebrow was raised, "Oh?" He looked at Sasuke, then at his neck. My seal didn't hold to well. I can see where it unravelled… after all, it was three years old. Time for a new one. "Oi… err… Kagome, would you mind if I chat will these two alone?"
The hostess smiled, "Go ahead… I'll be in my room. If you want you can stay for dinner. We're having ramen." She turned and strode up the stairs to her room, grabbing a book to read as she walked. She wondered what the three were going to talk about. Meanwhile, Kakashi turned to his students. "Now… what's this about Sasuke's seal?"
Sasuke's eyes wavered from his teachers face and focused on a blender in the corner. "I don't know I was in the school's gym class practising kendo and the next thing I knew I was hearing his voice in my head as I was fighting, then the Sensei stopped us and somehow I woke up in the nurse's room with Naruto yelling at me." He said it quickly, not really finding the telling of this information necessary. Orochimaru's powers came out unwillingly and broke Kakashi's seal, now it had to be fixed. Simple as that.
"Hurry Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto said, thinking that Sasuke without his seal was a dire situation. After all, now when Sasuke wanted to kill him, he had the power to do so. Naruto didn't like that… ticking off Sasuke was one of his favourite hobbies.
"I'll fix the seal later. Right now I need to inform you about the latest news." Kakashi paused and scanned the room, his gaze resting on the stairs before he continued. "Orochimaru is getting closer to finding your whereabouts Sasuke. I was thinking sending you here with Naruto was a bad idea, but it turns out he completely raided your apartment even though we had sentries posted. If you hadn't been here, you wouldn't be Sasuke anymore. This proves that you have to be extremely careful; we can't post any ANBU around Tokyo without Orochimaru knowing you're here. Basically you're on your own. I came to tell you the more you use chakra the more he can locate you, so 'low profile'."
The boy lowered his head, raven hair covering his ebony eyes. My apartment? Damn… This is starting to be serious. "Heh, Low profile, tell that to Naruto."
Naruto looked shocked, "HEY! You're the one who messed up duelling Inuyasha!"
Kakashi sighed; he was hoping a little team work would have come out of this mission. His hopes were wrongfully placed. "We also set up a 'phone; at Sakura's place. The number is 388-9997. Only call for emergencies. Now, Sasuke… How much do you know about Kagome?
Sasuke blinked. "I ahh… WHAT!?" How was that data valuable?
Naruto took advantage of this question, "She kissed me!" He beamed as told he told Kakashi. Sasuke looked at him, annoyance showing clearly in his pale features.
"Okay…" Kakashi looked to Sasuke.
"She's an innocent. But her friend Inuyasha is interesting."
"Good, because I don't have long here, and I need to seal your mark again. It'll be easier to come up with a false explanation for your unconsciousness if she's willing to except anything semi-logical."
Sasuke backed away. His sensei comes over and tells him how close Orochimaru is to finding him in Tokyo, and now he wants to render him immobile for several hours with Naruto as his only protection? Was he insane!? "Hell no! Last time I was unconscious for three hours…!"
Suddenly the phone rang.
Kakashi froze, and turned to the stairs.
"I'll get it!" Kagome practically flew down the stairs and skidded into the kitchen, getting a few odd looks from the boys and their sensei. She grabbed the phone and put it to her ear. "Moshi-moshi, oh… hey Hojou-kun…" She said, looking apologetically at the three guys before heading back up to her room, continuing her conversation with Hojou.
Sasuke still kept a good distance between his sensei and himself. There was no way he was going to allow himself to be in a defenceless position for several hours with Naruto watching him.
The man noted Sasuke's hesitation and smiled, "Ahh… don't worry, I was inexperienced last time. This time you should only be out for an hour… or so…"
"…"
Naruto turned to Kakashi-sensei to see how he was going to handle this. The man's only visible eye shifted to the left, and the blonde registered it as a signal. He smiled and turned to face his partner and grinned.
"You are so not-"
He didn't get to finish that sentence due to the fact Naruto tackled him to the ground.
"Sorry about this Sasuke. But it needs to be done… it's for your own good." Kakashi said, not sounding sorry at all as he drew a scroll from the pocket on the front of his jacket. "And I've figured a faster way of sealing, this should do the trick." The only problem with this is, even if Sasuke did want to use Orochimaru's power… he'd have to go through my seal first. The sensei started to unravel the scroll around Sasuke's body, which was still being crushed by Naruto.
The pale boy however, was not amused. "Let… me guess…" He wheezed from beneath his partner, he still struggled, hoping Naruto's short attention span would come to his advantage. Sadly the blonde was enjoying pinning him to the floor. Sasuke took another strained breath before continuing, "This has… not… been tested…"
Kakashi smiled. Indeed his new technique has not been tested, but there is a first time for everything. There was no way it could go wrong, therefore the sensei didn't mind experimenting the new way of sealing on Sasuke. Besides, he had no choice; the alternative would take to long. "I wouldn't worry so much Sasuke." Kakashi said as he extended his hand, his fingertips lit with wisps of blue fire. "Naruto is going to be the one explaining your unconsciousness, worry for him, or Kagome… who ever comes off at the wrong end of the explanation" Sasuke would have groaned if he wasn't dreading what was going to come next.
His sensei walked over, the sealing jutsu glowing in its own sickly light. He pulled down the high collar of Sasuke's dark navy shirt and thrust his hand around the odd marking on his neck, his fingers evenly spaced in a star formation and his face furrowed in concentration.
Sasuke screamed, agonizing pain scoring across his skin. He writhed under Naruto's weight, attempting to get away from the throbbing sting emanating from Orochimaru's mark. His partner however was left with the task of trying to hold the boy down while he flailed. "Umm… Shh!!!" He said looking to the stairs, hoping Kagome wasn't listening to all of Sasuke's yelling.
Sweat beaded on Kakashi's forehead as he willed the marks on the scroll to flow towards the tracings of the seal. He watched the scarlet marks scurry to their proper places around the cursed mark.
Suddenly Sasuke stopped screaming and his eyes went blank. His body untensed and Naruto got off him, blinking slightly at the sudden lack of wriggling. "Err…" Naruto began but was interrupted by a worried shout from upstairs.
"Naruto! Did someone scream!?" Kagome said. She has just hung up the phone and leapt to her feet at the first sound of distress from downstairs. Now she stood at the door awaiting an answer from the blonde in the kitchen.
Naruto froze. "N…no…"
Kakashi sighed; he did not want to be here for Kagome's discovery of Sasuke. Besides he needed to rest, that way of re-sealing took a lot out of his chakra. "Naruto, I'm leaving you to explain this, Good luck. I'm sending Iruka to brief you if anything happens." He said hastily as he put his hands in his pockets and speed walked to door, just as Kagome wandered down the stairs to investigate the screaming she heard.
"Oh! Kakashi-sensei… don't you want to stay for ramen? It's homemade." She smiled at him. Naruto however took Kagome's distraction to his advantage and shoved the unconscious Sasuke into the lower cupboard. He thought it was a brilliant idea at the moment.
"Ano… No thank-you Miss… umm… Kagome. I really need to hurry." Kakashi replied, glancing over at Naruto.
Kagome nodded in understanding, "Oh, okay then." She gave her signature smile, "Thanks for stopping by, have a nice trip home."
Kakashi walked out the door and waved, smiling slightly, "Hai, and thank-you for your hospitality." He left, his figure disappearing the moment he started down the stairway to the street. Meanwhile Kagome entered the kitchen, making Naruto laugh nervously as if he had done something guilty.
"So… Kagome… what about that ramen?"

OOS: Go Kakashi-sensei! You kick ass! I wuv you! And I promise I'll only kill you once in this fan fiction! Not… that I was planning…his death or anything… *shifty eye-movement* AND THANKS FOR THE REVIEWS! I feel loved ^^ - GinTsuki
Search and Seek and Destroy: It is EXTREMILY annoying when people don't review… I'm a review MONSTER. If I get no reviews I'll think I'm horrible and that I'm doing the world a favour by not updating. So… review even if you can't think of anything. Just put "LOOK! I REVIEWED!" If you feel stupid. For that last chapter I had to review to myself -.-; - GinTsuki
Winged Knight: AHAHAHAHA!!! You think he's an idiot NOW? I'm sorry… but I play him as a complete baka, and I can't fix it. It's my way of making their personalities differ from one another. Besides, in order to add humour I made him that way. And about Sasuke… he lightens up a WHOLE lot. He gets SUPER normal as soon as the Kag/Sas think goes on >>. All in all, I don't think you'll like this story… their personalities grow into ones that you may not like. That is just my advise. Gomen Nasai. -GinTsuki
Mystica-Moshi: You should win some sort of award for being a faithful reviewer. I'll think of something for… oh oh! What's your favourite female/male name? I'll name a future original character for you ^^. -GinTsuki
NofacePrincess: Ahh… a girl with my own heart… BLOOD!!! LOTS OF BLOOD!!! MUHAHAHAHA!!! Yep. That seals gone bonkers… and it seems to cause some trouble in the future… *hint hint nudge nudge* -GinTsuki

~*~Chikata~*~
Okay, before I respond to any reviews, I have to say… a lot of people are complaining and whining about the couplings. I just want to ask… is it the fact that Kagome is with Sasuke and Sakura isn't and she gets left out? Because, if that's the case then… have no fear. Also, Sasuke shows no interest so far in the anime to the girls in Konoha… so I thought… (maybe Gin does too) maybe Sasuke would like someone who's a little different from the norm… Anyhow… we'd love to know why you dislike the idea of Kag/Sas besides.. the "It's not Kag/Inu or Sasu/Saku "opinion. I just like hearing people's valid reasons, call me curious. Reviews are good too ^^
Search Seek and Destroy: LOL I agree with Gin completely on this one… even if you do this "^.^" it's better then nothing at all, just so we know people are still reading and enjoying the fic!
Winged Knight: It's true what you said about Naruto… but despite that.. he'll always be stupid but, determined when he needs to be! We never said anything about Sasuke disliking Naruto, but like any person Sasuke gets annoyed. We're well Gin isn't bashing Naruto… she's merely magnifying his personality a little. Trust me, you'll thank her when Naruto learns about periods and the women's menstrual cycle. Thank you for your constructive crit review ^^
Everyone Else: Thank you for reviewing and reading our story ^^
