She kept a secret from the rest since the day she fell down the well. Letting her walls down she saw what the world, her world could be. Now the man she loved has been with another behind her back. She is sick a tired of it all an now...she's hell bent on revenge. To kill the people who dare came close or killed what was hers an to kill the man who she once loved. (Chapter 8: to begin to understand who we are and the magic around us.
(Last Time)
'Dumpass mutt in the end it will be you dead ' he thought with a sinister smile at the thought. Everything was coming into play just like the others had told him so. If he played his cards just right, he could live life free and not be burden with his past mistakes. Life was going to become very sweet. All he needed to do now was make sure the miko stayed safe and he knew a good place she could go to be save. With this thought in mind, he returned to the inside of his castle summoning his servants to his library. They all needed to have a long ' chat ' about a guest that was going to stay.

Morning came to the group without a disturbance. It was weird to have a quiet morning. The group was used to either Kagome and Inuyasha fighting about cooking and jewel shards. They got used to the unusual arguments of Naruto and Saskue. Somehow, today was different. No one fought each other. No one yelled things at one another nor did anyone pic to start one. Everything was oddly...quiet dare I say.
"Everybody I think we should head back to kaede's...there hasn't been a pull of jewel shards since we started," Inuyasha said, Kagome's head snapped up and she narrowed her eyes under her shades...something wasn't right.
"What would it hurt to show Naruto, Saskue and Sakura around a little...you know like a mini adventure" Kagome suggested, Sakura's eyes lit up at the thought
"Feh, stupid humans were going back to the village an that's that" Inuyasha growled out
" you can go alone...were going to go adventure...see ya " Kagome said jumping up of her pack then slinging it over her shoulder walking off with everyone except for inuyasha in toe.
"Bitch" Inuyasha muttered as he followed them...lurking in the shadows four pair of eyes prayed on the group.
Okay so maybe breakfast didn't go off with out a hitch, but hey, I never claimed it to be that way.

"Kagome...do you sing " Sakura asked
"Yeah when I feel like it," Kagome said

"Nah, singing isn't my thing" Sango said

Since kagome was familiar with allot of American songs she singed one by an American New Yorker singer by the name of Norah Jones. Her music was light and breezy yet it had a meaning to every word. So pulling out her cd player since she couldn't remember the words kagome pressed play and let the melody run into her ears before she open her mouth to let the words spill forth.

The group had finally made it into the mountains of the central lands other wise known as ' The Spine '. The spine was the center of the lands and one of the largest mountains that connected all four lands together. The largest mountain was located in Sesshouamru domain. It was rumored that his castle was build upon it to over look the lands since the original castle was burned to the ground. Kagome continued to meet up with Sesshoumaru at night when the others were sleep and Inuyasha wasn't there. The others seemed too busy with their own thing to really notice that Kagome was becoming more open. She still had that cold exterior, but it was fading a little bit day by day really. It didn't really matter. What mattered at this time was finding jewel shards and her training. Kagome hadn't had a good fight since she came back. She was starting to get pissed. Currently they were walking a trail kissing the curve of the spine that would lead them to another trail that went up the mountain.
"we haven't been attacked in weeks...some luck" Kagome hissed
"lady kagome are you trying to jinx us" Miroku asked
"maybe" Kagome said, before anyone could hear it or since it Kagome darted off in a direction of a scream that was yelled after she had taken off.
"come on someone needs help" Kagome yelled over she shoulder as she ran ducking trying to avoid being hit by the branches of the trees. the under roath of the trees was tearing at the boots but not her skin.
As she ran, she could see bright lights being shot to the north and wind sweeping to the south. Cries could be heard as they came from the south. When kagome crashed threw the bushes into the clearing, She couldn't believe her eyes. She could believe her eyes so much she actually took her shades of and rubbed her eyes a few times. Looked around then put them back on. She didn't know what to do, but she had to stop this.
"hey what the hell do you think your doing to these poor people"
"they stole our food"
"we took the food you stole back" one of the young fighters cried
"that's low, ginta...ayame, picky on these poor pixies...give them their food back" Kagome demanded
"what cha going to do if I don't human" Ayame sneered
Kagome chuckled darkly as she rested her hands crossed over her chest and shifted her position. she raised and eyebrow as she looked behind her seeing if they had made it yet...they hadn't.

"well there's a number of a thing" Kagome said letting her energy flow
"Ayame I think we should go" Ginta said
"no" Ayame shouted
"we came here for food an were going to get it " Ayame said
"then I suggest you pay for it or grow your own" Kagome said
"I've had about enough of your mouth" Ayame yelled
"then come and try to shut it up" Kagome said then removed her sunglasses, Ayame and Ginta's mouth dropped to the floor.
"what?" Kagome said innocently? they said nothing but were out of there in a heartbeat.
The other pixies looked at kagome and on that was on the field looking at kagome as well. The pixy had short curly golden hair. you see the pixies were only 11 or so inches tall. Anyway, the pixy in question had hazel eyes and fair skin. She wore a lovely lime green kimono with white stitched leaves on the material. Her eyes were sharp, but thankful. The pixy dropped to the ground her butterfly wings raised in the air as she stopped fly and fell to her knees. Kagome tilted her head but walked over to her and knelt beside her.
"you don't have to do that for me, what is your name" Kagome asked, said pixy rose from the ground and started flying around Kagome
"my name is Penelope...queen of the Elvin pixies, what is yours milady" Penelope asked
"Kagome and I'm no lady so please don't say that" Kagome said with a smile, she noticed her glasses off she moved them back on
"okay Kagome, how may I repay you, you've saved my people from going hungry this winter" Penelope said
"well...I need people on my side to fight the evil..." Kagome started to say
"as you can see were very small creatures...we can't fight" Penelope said, kagome raised her hand
"no...no nothing like that...I need some people to get information for me...you know like spies...I need help with allot of things" Kagome said
"would you like an alliance with the pixies Kagome" Penelope asked with a bright smile
"umm...yes, yes I would" Kagome said
"then it is dealt" Penelope said an flew over Kagome's head to talk to her people.
" everyone this is Kagome...our new ailed, she needs help to fight the evil, we are going to be her spies at her disposal in return she will give us protection" Penelope said, her people cheered.
"Penelope...one in my group is against me...even though he does not show it, do not come to me when I’m with my group...at night you may meet me, I might be with another, but he is not going to harm you, he is lord sesshoumaru, lord of the western lands" Kagome said, Penelope gasped in surprise then smiled, kagome tilted her head confused.
"Ah seems like Lord Sesshoumaru has chosen sooner than I thought" Penelope said
"Chosen what?" Kagome asked
"Oh nothing...I meet Sesshoumaru when he was first born in a spring near here...he came every year on his birthday...he still does every now and then" Penelope said
"Oh" Kagome said
"If we here anything that's of any serious importance to you I will personally meet you...even if your group if with you " Penelope said
"Okay...now leave. My group is near" Kagome said, Penelope nodded her head and dropped a small bag at Kagome's feet before her and her people left...as they left her group came crashing into the clearing. Kagome picked up the bag and quickly moved it inside her shirt. Standing up she looked at her group.
"I smell wolfs and something else" Inuyasha said
"Oh ayame and ginta were here trying to steal some food, nothing more" Kagome said waving it off
"Oh...lets go we've wasted enough time here" Inuyasha said, the group nodded as they walked behind the hanyou

The group of adventures sat around a freshly lit campfire as they listen to kagome talk about what they had to do.
"Well I feel as if there is a traitor in one of our allies" Kagome said

"Well...threes Kouga…Ayame's tribe...all of us here...a few lesser demon villages" Miroku said

"Kagome you want me to go with you" Sango asked fearing for her friend
"No I’ll be fine" Kagome said then slipped into the shadows as her group looked on, another slipped into the shadows as well as the others looked after Kagome’s figure.

" Kikyou...she’s starting to suspect something” Inuyasha said to Kikyou as he entered the clearing she was resting in
" then don’t let her...silence her" Kikyou said

Kagome sighed as the water meets her cold flesh. The fog around the hot spring gave her the perfect privacy she so desperately wanted. Her head was spinning was the things that had happen today. She couldn't believe her luck of finding an alliance. She knew she could trust them because of what ukemachi had told her at the lake.
"I know you can’t do it alone, you'll save people along the way who will be loyal to your every word, kagome you can do this, and this is part of your destiny please” ukemachi said
' indeed I can't do this alone ' Kagome thought, she was about to get out of the hot spring when she saw a light flicker of light coming threw the fog

" a castle...it looks like no one has been master of it for years...yet servants still work there...I overheard one talking about them waiting for their mistress another said your name " Penelope said
" so...what is this to me" Kagome asked putting her clothing on
" you have a castle now," Penelope screamed
" shhh...how far away from here" Kagome said zipping her boots up
" hmmm if we leave now we can be there and back before day break, " Penelope said

Haha left you on another cliffy. I wanted to tell you I have everything sorted out for this story. I know how many chapters there’s going to be...30. I know all the chapter names and what will be in them because I was bored in class today so I started planning the chapters in my story. the next chapter will be very long and take a while to get out...maybe a week if not two before it’s finished. the longest chapter will be coming up very soon so you've been warned in advanced. if you want to see chapter names there in my profile...also my last note. I said that I was doing somewhere I belong over...well I am but not until the summer...the au fics with kagome and crew in the future in high school is at a low...so I’m going to make a trilogy series up. the first story will be with kagome as a junior...along with everyone else. then the next will be about their senior year...lots of pranks...and a road trip that will lead them to treasure...the last will be in collage picking up off where they left off about the treasure...buckle up your seats cause there in a cross-content road trip to Europe...Japan...America...and Amsterdam....can you say wild raves and drugs. "I've had about enough of your mouth" Ayame yelled
"then come and try to shut it up" Kagome said then removed her sunglasses, Ayame and Ginta's mouth dropped to the floor.
"what?" Kagome said innocently? they said nothing but were out of there in a heartbeat.
The other pixies looked at kagome and on that was on the field looking at kagome as well. The pixy had short curly golden hair. you see the pixies were only 11 or so inches tall. Anyway, the pixy in question had hazel eyes and fair skin. She wore a lovely lime green kimono with white stitched leaves on the material. Her eyes were sharp, but thankful. The pixy dropped to the ground her butterfly wings raised in the air as she stopped fly and fell to her knees. Kagome tilted her head but walked over to her and knelt beside her.
"you don't have to do that for me, what is your name" Kagome asked, said pixy rose from the ground and started flying around Kagome
"my name is Penelope...queen of the Elvin pixies, what is yours milady" Penelope asked
"Kagome and I'm no lady so please don't say that" Kagome said with a smile, she noticed her glasses off she moved them back on
"okay Kagome, how may I repay you, you've saved my people from going hungry this winter" Penelope said
"well...I need people on my side to fight the evil..." Kagome started to say
"as you can see were very small creatures...we can't fight" Penelope said, kagome raised her hand
"no...no nothing like that...I need some people to get information for me...you know like spies...I need help with allot of things" Kagome said
"would you like an alliance with the pixies Kagome" Penelope asked with a bright smile
"umm...yes, yes I would" Kagome said
"then it is dealt" Penelope said an flew over Kagome's head to talk to her people.
" everyone this is Kagome...our new ailed, she needs help to fight the evil, we are going to be her spies at her disposal in return she will give us protection" Penelope said, her people cheered.
"Penelope...one in my group is against me...even though he does not show it, do not come to me when I’m with my group...at night you may meet me, I might be with another, but he is not going to harm you, he is lord sesshoumaru, lord of the western lands" Kagome said, Penelope gasped in surprise then smiled, kagome tilted her head confused.
"Ah seems like Lord Sesshoumaru has chosen sooner than I thought" Penelope said
"Chosen what?" Kagome asked
"Oh nothing...I meet Sesshoumaru when he was first born in a spring near here...he came every year on his birthday...he still does every now and then" Penelope said
"Oh" Kagome said
"If we here anything that's of any serious importance to you I will personally meet you...even if your group if with you " Penelope said
"Okay...now leave. My group is near" Kagome said, Penelope nodded her head and dropped a small bag at Kagome's feet before her and her people left...as they left her group came crashing into the clearing. Kagome picked up the bag and quickly moved it inside her shirt. Standing up she looked at her group.
"I smell wolfs and something else" Inuyasha said
"Oh ayame and ginta were here trying to steal some food, nothing more" Kagome said waving it off
"Oh...lets go we've wasted enough time here" Inuyasha said, the group nodded as they walked behind the hanyou
(Night)
The group of adventures sat around a freshly lit campfire as they listen to kagome talk about what they had to do.
"Well I feel as if there is a traitor in one of our allies" Kagome said
"Who?” Sango asked
"Lord Sesshoumaru maybe" Miroku suggested
"Nah not him...his aura reads the truth, not even he would be able to hide a lie like this" Kagome said
"Well...threes Kouga…Ayame's tribe...all of us here...a few lesser demon villages" Miroku said
"Well...never mind...I’ll think of it later, I need to go take a bath...I’ll be back " Kagome said picking up a small black bag, and then gathered her bow and arrows.
"Kagome you want me to go with you" Sango asked fearing for her friend
"No I’ll be fine" Kagome said then slipped into the shadows as her group looked on, another slipped into the shadows as well as the others looked after Kagome’s figure.
(With Inuyasha)
" Kikyou...she’s starting to suspect something” Inuyasha said to Kikyou as he entered the clearing she was resting in
" then don’t let her...silence her" Kikyou said
" I will my mate...the others don't know a thing " Inuyasha said
" good " Kikyou replied
( With Kagome )
Kagome sighed as the water meets her cold flesh. The fog around the hot spring gave her the perfect privacy she so desperately wanted. Her head was spinning was the things that had happen today. She couldn't believe her luck of finding an alliance. She knew she could trust them because of what ukemachi had told her at the lake.
"I know you can’t do it alone, you'll save people along the way who will be loyal to your every word, kagome you can do this, and this is part of your destiny please” ukemachi said
' indeed I can't do this alone ' Kagome thought, she was about to get out of the hot spring when she saw a light flicker of light coming threw the fog
" Kagome? " a voice called
" is that you Penelope?" Kagome asked
" hai...I have some great news for you " Penelope said coming into view
" what is it?" Kagome asked
" I was searching the mountain like a do every so often and found something new" Penelope squealed
" uh what would that be?" Kagome asked as she raised from the water to dry off
" a castle...it looks like no one has been master of it for years...yet servants still work there...I overheard one talking about them waiting for their mistress another said your name " Penelope said
" so...what is this to me" Kagome asked putting her clothing on
" you have a castle now," Penelope screamed
" shhh...how far away from here" Kagome said zipping her boots up
" hmmm if we leave now we can be there and back before day break, " Penelope said
" lets go...if it’s indeed mine...you and your people are welcome to stay there" Kagome said
" thank you very much," Penelope said as she led the way to the castle.
" so...Penelope. Tell me about your self" Kagome said
" well you see…” Penelope began

Haha left you on another cliffy. I wanted to tell you I have everything sorted out for this story. I know how many chapters there’s going to be...30. I know all the chapter names and what will be in them because I was bored in class today so I started planning the chapters in my story. the next chapter will be very long and take a while to get out...maybe a week if not two before it’s finished. the longest chapter will be coming up very soon so you've been warned in advanced. if you want to see chapter names there in my profile...also my last note. I said that I was doing somewhere I belong over...well I am but not until the summer...the au fics with kagome and crew in the future in high school is at a low...so I’m going to make a trilogy series up. the first story will be with kagome as a junior...along with everyone else. then the next will be about their senior year...lots of pranks...and a road trip that will lead them to treasure...the last will be in collage picking up off where they left off about the treasure...buckle up your seats cause there in a cross-content road trip to Europe...Japan...America...and Amsterdam....can you say wild raves and drugs. Anyway, I hope you like this new chapter.
