A/N: I don't own Inuyasha, Blade, or Blade: The Series. (Spike TV wed, 10:00 PM, Check it out.) I may have project arura a little off because I'm not sure if they are immune to sunlight.

Kagome looked around as she sat down at her new desk. She saw a few familiar people from the police academy and some who she didn't know where she had ever seen them. She sighed. 'Time to meet my new partner.' There was a tap on her shoulder and she turned to see a man about her height.

"Hey, I'm officer Wolf. Higurashi right?" Kagome nodded, shaking his hand. "Looks like I'll be your partner today."

"Oh..." Kagome picked up a her wallet and placed it into her pocket. "I guess we should get going then." The man nodded and she followed him to their squad car. He opened the passenger side door and she got in. Closing the door behind her, the man walked to the driver side and got in. Kagome watched as the man put his seatbelt on and started the car.

"So, Mr. Wolf, do you have a first name?" Kagome asked, smiling.

"Uh, wow, this is awkward," The man mumbled under his breath.

"Excuse me?"

"My first name is Wolf." Kagome sat back in her seat and looked forward out the window, trying to avoid eye contact.

"Oh."

"Yeah." The man shifted the car into gear and pulled out.

An hour later...

"Alright, so, Wolf, what's your last name?" Kagome asked as they left the coffee shop.

"Don't worry about it," the man said seriously.

"Awww...you're no fun." Kagome faked a pout.

"I get that a lot." The man looked around.

'What's he looking for?' Kagome broadened her senses and heard it he eyes opened wide.

"Did you hear something?" the man asked as he looked up and down the street.

"Like what?" Kagome asked, trying to look like nothing was going on until she go answers. Like, how did he heard it before she did.

"A scream." Suddenly, there was a scream from a block away.

There was a gunshot and Kagome pulled out a small throwing knife, pushing him behind a van. "Yeah! Get down! I'll take care of it~"

The man pulled her behind the van with him. "Nope. Rookie, you stay here." He walked calmly from behind the van and toward the gunshots.

'What's he doing?' Kagome looked around. 'Damn! Too many people!' She sighed as she looked for a way out. 'I wish Inuyasha was here. He can use his demon abilities fast enough that noone sees him.' Suddenly there was another shot and a cry, then the smell of, wolf? And demon blood...

Inuyasha looked through the large whole in the wall at the man standing behind it and his eyes widened. He holstered his gun and lunged at the man.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" King and Blade ran after the hanyou.

"HE'S A VAMPIRE!!!" Inuyasha yelled over his shoulder before being easily diflected into the wall. The misterious man stood covered in kevlar armor and a UV sheilded helmet.

Both men stopped dead in their tracks as they watched the hanyou get thrown into the wall like a peice of paper. "But, how?" Blade took off his glasses to look at the man.

Kagome suddenly had an idea. She ran into a small alley and pulled of her police uniform. Under it she wore her usual tactical pants and black jacket. She looked up and down the alley before depositing the uniform behind a dumpster and jumping to the rooftop above her. From there she jumped from rooftop to rooftop until she reached the area where the shootout was going on. 'Wait, that's HQ!' Kagome thought in shock and horror as she jumped down to the ground below. She sniffed the air and looked around to see Inuyasha smashed into a large indent in the wall. She ran to her mate and pulled him gently out of the wall. "Inuyasha!" She shook him gently. "Wake up puppy! Wake up!"

When she got no response, she looked around for what did this to her puppy, but found nothing. She lifted the hanyou up and carried him on her back as she jumped to the roof of the building. As soon as she was sure he was safe, she jumped back down to see what was going on outside the building. She looked around to see Blade and Hannibal King shooting bullet after bullet at a large man who didn't seem to be slowed down by it.On the ground Wolf was trying to drag him self away from the fight. His leg had apperently been shot. She went against her better judgement and jumped over to where he was, on the ground. She quickly snatched him off the ground and jumped back to the roof where Inuyasha was, setting him down and leaping away before the man could ID her.

She went directly back to the battlefield and lunged at the man who smelled of vampires. She was able to catch him from behind and catch him in a headlock.

"Kagome!" King yelled from the opposite side of the street.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!" Kagome barked as she backwards as she pulled the trigger and sent the strange man flying through the air, past Blade and King, in a shining ball of gold light and into the building across the street.

When the dust cleared, the hunters approached the large hole in the wall to see a small pile of dust...
