After the final battle with the vaccinated vampires, Inuyasha had been treated with a form of garlic extract that was able to destroy the virus before it spread. He quit the Nightstalkers immediately in order to get a real job and protect his mate.
Nine months later...
Kagome sat in her bed, gently rocking her newborn son. Inuyasha was by her side, smiling down at the sleeping child, his son. The son he had given up everything for. Everything except for the one thing... the one person, who would never leave him. He held Kagome close as they both fell asleep with the silver haired pup sleeping peacefully between them...
