A/N: Thanks to kag_inu12012 for giving me some thoughts on how to fix the last chapter. Appearently I need to write a another chapter after this one. I can't end the story abuptly....that would just be boring. I don't own Inuyasha or Blade: The Series.
Inuyasha skidded to a stop in front of an old, seemingly abandoned building and looked around at the other hunters who were now getting out of their vehicles. He stood up off of his motorcycle and slowly walked toward the large police truck, opening the door.
"Listen up!" All of the men inside looked up at the hanyou. "These fuckers are ten times stronger than you. You are not to aproach them for any reason. They will tear you apart." The only ones to go anywhere near them are me, and the Nightstalkers." Inuyasha pointed to the group of hunters behind him. "Use firearms only. If you run out of bullets, use the UV granades we gave you earlier." He looked around, then let out a low menacing growl. "UNDERSTOOD?!"
"YES SIR!"
"Lets go." Inuyasha led the soldiers and the Nightstalkers into the building. He kicked open the door and pulled out two of his guns. In front of him were about twenty vampires, sitting around, watching tv and playing poker.
King walked up. "I'm sorry to distub you, but, uh, we're here to deliver a message." He watched as one of the vampires stood up and began walking toward him, baring its fangs. King raised the large three barrel shotgun and fired. The man vanished instantly into a pile of dust. Then, all hell broke loose.
Inuyasha watched as dozens of vampires attacked at once. Most were turned to ash while the others just charged forward. The world seemed to move in slow motion as a vampire launched itself toward the half demon. Inuyasha quickly lifted one of his guns and fired. The ashes of the vampire scattered as another charged toward him. He pulled out a throwing knife and sent it soaring through the second vampire and into another. They just hissed and seemed to be uneffected. Inuyasha smirked and the first vamire turned around to see the second vamp. futily trying to remove the beeping knife from his body.
There was a small bang and both vampires turned to ash in a field of blue light. Inuyasha's ears flicked at the sound of footsteps obove him and looked around at the room which was now clensed of vampires. He signaled for everyone else to go up the stairs but he stayed where he was. Something didn't smell right. He looked around the empty room for a few seconds. 'There it is.' There were soft footsteps moving toward him. He spun around to see a vampire, walking slowly toward him.
He took a step back. "K-kikyou?" His eyes widened.
She smirked. "Half demon."
"B-but, your dead." Inuyasha backed into a wall.
The woman just chuckled and moved closer slowly until she was only a foot away from him. She moved a hand up to his face and caressed it softly, moving her face to his. "You're such a cute little puppy aren't you." She whispered before sinking her fangs deep into his throat.
"K-kikyou..." he felt the life leaving him as the vampire slowly lowered him to the ground.
After a few seconds of feeding, the woman pulled back and looked onto Inuyasha's faded eyes. "You taste good too." She straddled his waist and began slowly lowering herself to his throat once again.
Inuyasha's vision blurred as the figure above him came closer and closer. There was a large flash of light and it vanished to be quickly replaced by the blurred image of a woman in a blue uniform. Inuyasha felt his body shake violently as he tried to move. Then he felt the weight of someone on top of him, holding him down, pinning his arms to his sides, not allowing him movement.
Inuyasha's eyes shot open and his back arched in pain. He clenched his teeth and growled as he felt someone hold him down. He looked around at the various people around him. All were starring back at him.
"Inuyasha. We gave you a form of garlic extract that should nuetralize the virus inside you. I know it hurts, but you need to trust me." He looked over at Kagome as she spoke.
"Ka-kagome!" Inuyasha felt another explosion of pain shoot up his spine.
"I need you to hold on Inuyasha!" She held grabbed his hand and held it tight.
"Pain." He felt as though his blood was turning to acid.
"I know," she said softly, another tear falling down her face.
"K-kagome. Don't- gasp-worry about me." He moved his hand from her grasp and used it to caress her cheek.
"No, Inuyasha! I need you." She grabbed his hand once more and moved it, pulling her shirt up, to her abdomen.
Inuyasha's eyes bacame even wider as a tear fell down his face.
A/N: Having the Hominus Nocturna virus removed from your blood stream is theoretically a painful task because it involves having the virus burned while still in your vains. This by the way is the last chapter. I will be posting an epilogue after it if you want to know what happens next.
