(Ayame smiles at Blue and both stretch out.)
 
Referee: Ok you two, I want a good, bloody fight. Let's get it on. (Points to the bell, which is immediately hit, sending out a high pitched ping)
 
(Blue runs at Ayame and dodges a swipe of her, Ayame's, claws before punching her in the stomach, knocking the breath out of her. Kouga and the wolves [Kiba, Hige, Tsume, and Toboe] chuckle at the directness of Blue's tactics.)
 
Kurama: Does she really think she can win with such painfully obvious tactics?
 
Hiei: (looks in the ring smirking slightly) Key work there was painfully.
 
(Blue keeps barraging Ayame with random combinations of punches and kicks. Ayame tries to offer some kind of resistance but fails miserably. Blue hits Ayame in the stomach again and jumps back breathing heavily as Ayame falls to her knees and coughs up blood.)
 
Ayame: No technique…but neither has a hammer.
 
(She, Ayame, rises to her feet holding her stomach. She runs at Blue and swipes again only to have her arm caught mid-swing. Blue then smirks mischievously and slams her palm into Ayame's elbow, snapping the joint with a watery pop. Ayame cries out painfully, as does Cheza.)
 
Blue: What?!? (Looks at Cheza)
 
(All eyes turn toward Cheza whose red eyes are watery with tears held silent no longer. Kiba grabs and shakes Cheza but she shows no response.)
 
Kiba: Cheza! Cheza! What's wrong?!?
 
(Blue is about to leave the ring when the referee whistles loudly.)
 
Referee: If you step out of the ring you will lose. It will be a ring out.
 
(Ayame painfully resets her elbow as tears stream unabated down her face. Cheza continues crying and Blue watches on with terror and anger filling her entire being like a flood.)
 
Kouga: Ayame! Ayame, are you ok!? (Looks at her anxiously)
 
Ayame: I-I'm fine. (Winces as she accidentally moves her arm)
 
Kiba: Cheza, talk to me!
 
(All the wolves circle Cheza and try to get a response.)
 
Tsume: (turns to the ring) Just finish the fight, we'll help Cheza.
 
(Blue wavers slightly before turning around and running toward Ayame, who had happily accepted the much wanted break.)
 
Referee: Ok, folks, looks like this bout is still on.
 
(The crowd cheers loudly as Blue quickly closes the gap between herself and Ayame.)
 
Blue: If I win I can get to Cheza.
 
(Ayame looks on in fear as Blue leaps at her. The crowd continues cheering, flooding Ayame's ears with deafening sound and downing out Kouga's heartfelt cries for her to duck. Blue transforms into a wolf mid-leap and aims her razor sharp fangs for Ayame's pulsing jugular vein. Ayame barely has enough time to raise her arm into the path of the deadly fangs. Blue clamps down on Ayame's arm and her fangs dig deep into Ayame's bone. The crowd silences at Blue's transformation but begins cheering again as blood flies from Ayame's torn limb. Ayame's eyes turn red as she coalesces to the primal energies given to her by her demon heritage.)
 
Kouga: Ayame! Do something!
 
Sesshoumaru: This match has definitely been a lot more interesting than I would have expected.
 
Twilight: Didn't expect this kind of savagery. They're just animals in there.
 
Hiei: That woman with the red eyes is still crying.
 
Kurama: She feels for the wolves. She can see just as the rest of us, they are obviously in pain.
 
Kiba: Please, Cheza, calm down.
 
Toboe: Yeah, it's ok Cheza.
 
(Blue clams down harder, digging her fangs deeper into Ayame's bone. Ayame cries out and digs her claws into the black wolf's face and muzzle, trying to pry her blood-stained muzzle off of her arm.)
 
Ayame: You bitch! Get the hell off of me!
 
Kouga: Don't give up! You can take her!
 
(Blue growls ferociously and clamps down with all her strength, attempting to completely tear through Ayame's arm. Cheza breaks from the circle of wolves and runs to the barrier of the ring and begins beating against it savagely as the sound of bone splintering echoes throughout the arena, which has grown deathly quiet.)
 
Kagome: Ch-Ch-Cheza, what's wrong?
 
(Rin walks through the crowd toward Cheza and grabs her hand, which is covered in green blood. Sesshoumaru gets up to move but Sazuka stops him.)
 
Twilight: Let her help the flower.
 
Sesshoumaru: The flower is useless, why should I care if it lives or dies?
 
Twilight: Because she cares.
 
(Sesshoumaru growls lightly but sits down watching Rin.)
 
Rin: They will be fine.
 
(Cheza look frantically from the savagery within the ring to the innocence radiating from Rin. In the ring Ayame's claws dig deep in the bone of Blue's muzzle but Blue refuses to let go.)
 
Cheza: This one fears for them. She feels their terror and hears their cries when no one else will. This one knows they are in pain, they must stop. (Tears continue running from her red eyes.)
 
Rin: They will be fine. Don't worry.
 
Cheza: If not this one, then who.
 
Rin: They worry for themselves.
 
Cheza: They are blind to their pain. Do you not see them, little one? They continue fighting, do they not?
 
Rin: Sometimes, they must fight. It is part of life.
 
(Cheza starts to get frantic again and turns back toward the ring in time to see Ayame pry Blue's muzzle up and throw the wolf away from herself.)
 
Rin: All will be…
 
Cheza: No, they must stop this. They're in pain. This one can see what the other's can't, what the others won't…what you won't.
 
(Cheza throws Rin off herself and cries out to the fighting wolves. Sesshoumaru jumps out of his seat and, before anyone can tell what's happening, he has Cheza in his grasp. She tries to cry out but Sesshoumaru's clawed hand crushes her frail windpipe. Kiba yells and the wolves rush at the dog.)
 
Sesshoumaru: Don't even try, you stupid mongrels.
 
(The wolves pay no heed to Sesshoumaru's threat and continue rushing toward him, who drops Cheza and rushes toward the wolves.)
 
Kiba: Prepare to die, dog!
 
(In the ring Blue's vision is blurred by her own blood and Ayame takes the chance to attack her. She rushes toward the wolf and slams her good hand deep into Blue's ribs. Blue yelps painfully and snaps blindly, hoping to hit something. Cheza's red eyes fill will terror as she sees Blue's blood spill from her body onto the cold stone floor of the ring.)
 
Ayame: You're finished, wolf.
 
Hiei: It was a good match.
 
Kurama: I don't think the black wolf will coalesce to defeat so easily.
 
Hiei: That wasn't very easy.
 
(Kurama just points to the ring. Hiei looks into the ring and his eyes widen in wonderment as Kurama's premonition comes true; Blue twirling to the side and chomping onto Ayame's shoulder. Ayame cries out in agony and pulls her sword out before slamming the silver blade through Blue's ribs. Blue twists in excruciating pain, causing the blade to snap and Ayame to loose her grip on the wolf.)
 
(Outside the ring Sesshoumaru easily dodges the wolves' attacks. However, Rin is much slower and is easily caught by Tsume who lifts her by the throat from the ground. Sesshoumaru knocks the other three wolves away and turns toukijin on Tsume. Tsume tightens his grip on Rin's neck, stopping Sesshoumaru in his tracks.)
 
Tsume: Not so big now?
 
(Sesshoumaru merely growls in response. Tsume lifts Rin higher and Rin, in response, whimpers.)
 
Tsume: Hmm, you want to say something, little one?
 
Rin: Help me, Lord Sesshoumaru.
 
Tsume: Yeah, Lord Sesshoumaru, help her.
 
Sesshoumaru: Bastard.
 
(Inside the ring, Ayame, with her limp arm at her side, leaps at Blue who jumps over her and turns mid-air. Ayame begins to turn around just as Blue lands on the ground running. Ayame growls as Blue jumps at her and fangs meet throat. Blue slams Ayame to the ground with her fangs securely tightened around Ayame's throat. Ayame tries to do anything but Blue shakes her head fiercely tearing through Ayame's throat and then drops her into the growing puddle of her quickly chilling blood.)
 
Referee: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! And that's all she wrote folks! The winner of this great match is Blue.
 
(Outside the ring, Cheza falls to her knees at the vision of horrible carnage. Kouga falls to his knees as well, tears streaming down his face, regardless of his knowledge that Ayame would be fine. Tsume turns for a second to see what had happened and Sesshoumaru brings toukijin to his throat.)
 
Sesshoumaru: Drop the girl.
 
(In the ring Blue transforms back into a human wiping blood from her face and, after pulling the broken blade from her body, holding her side. Her vision blurs and she falls to the floor unconscious.)
 
(Tsume drops Rin immediately after seeing Blue fall to the floor. All of the wolves run to Blue who shows no response. Cheza walks to Ayame's side and falls to her knees in the pool of Ayame's blood. Rin gets up from the ground and runs to Sesshoumaru who returns Toukijin to his belt.)
 
Rin: Thank you, Lord Sesshoumaru.
 
(Sesshoumaru walks away with Rin following closely behind. Both sit in chairs by Twilight Sazuka.)
 
Referee: We couldn't have asked for a better match, huh, folks?
 
Kouga: Bastard!
 
(Kouga punches the referee in the face sending him to the ground. The referee looks up angrily at Kouga who just looks coldly down at him. Dende cuts through the crowd of people around the ring and hurries to Ayame's side. He drops down and quickly heals her. After about three minutes of healing Ayame slowly rises to her knees and eventually to her feet and sees Kouga pummeling the downed referee.)
 
Ayame: Kouga? What are you doing?
 
(Kouga quickly runs to Ayame's side and hugs her happily. Ayame thinks to say something but decides not to and just melts in Kouga's arms. Dende smiles and runs to Blue. The wolves growl at him as he gets close but he pays them no heed. He kneels and quickly heals her as the wolves enclose tighter around him. Blue gets up after about half a minute of healing.)
 
Kagome: That was great Dende.
 
Dende: (blushes slightly) No problem.
 
Kagome: No really, that was good.
 
Dende: Just doing my job. I am actually kind of tired. That took a lot out of me. I think we could use one of those. (Points to Tenseiga)
 
Hiei: I wouldn't bet he'd be quick to hand it over.
 
Dende: No, he doesn't seem to have a very good demeanor.
 
Kurama: That's does certainly seem to be the case.
 
Dende: Yes, well, I must be getting some rest. A healing like that, like I said, takes a lot out of me. Perhaps I'll see you later.
 
Kagome: I hope it's on better terms.
 
Dende: Maybe.
 
Kagome: Have a good rest.
 
(Dende walks out of the arena.)
 
Dende: Thanks.
 
Announcer: The next match will be in 1 hour. It will be Twilight Sazuka vs. the wind sorceress, Kagura.
 
Twilight: So far, looks have been very deceiving. I expect no less in my match against this so called “wind sorceress.”
 
Kagura: I will break this woman in my wind.
 
Naraku: Do not underestimate her.
 
Kagura: (huffs) She will see the final twilight soon enough.
