Sesshoumaru stood looking at the moon while Rin ran around chasing fireflies and Jaken chasing her.

He felt sadness coming from Usagi when she showed him what happened.

`Maybe if I find her cat,' he thought. `Demo how?'

He didn't like cats; to be honest he hated them and loved it when they ran away from him.

Not that he ever chased any.

But for Usagi he was going to try and find it.

"Watch Rin," he said and walked off.

He had no idea how the thing smells like, so he would have to go by looks.

A small dark purple cat that looks like its black with brown eyes and a golden upturned crescent moon on its forehead.

Well, at least the crescent moon on its forehead would make it easier to find.

He began jumping through the trees when he caught sight of a small blackish dot moving.

He jumped down to check it out to find out it wasn't the koruso cat but a human boy around Rin's age in a cloak.

He turned to leave.

"Wait," the boy shouted.

"What?" Sesshoumaru asked. He didn't need this, if Usagi heard a boy was killed by a youkai she would ask him first then be mad when she found out it was him.

"I lost my older sister," he said. Tears threatened to come out of his eyes. "She disappeared and then our parents got killed and I got sent here."

Sesshoumaru fought the urge to roll his eyes and leave the little boy to get eaten by the youkais watching him.

That was until he noticed the small dark purple furry thing he carried.

"Is that a cat?" he asked.

"Hai," the boy said.

"Come with me," Sesshoumaru said picking the little boy up.

He jumped back to Rin and Jaken.

"Another human master?" Jaken asked. "We have enough as it is."

Sesshoumaru glared at the toad like youkai and then began to walk to Kaede's hut.

When he reached it, Usagi's warm lips greeted him. A smile almost crept onto his face then he noticed the others in the room and brushed past her.

He was going to pay for that later.

He sat on the ground and the little boy he found earlier came in with Rin and Jaken.

"Usagi!" he cried running to her.

"Shingo! Luna!" she said embracing both of them.

"Your brother and cat?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Hai," Usagi said.

She let them go and embraced Sesshoumaru, he was in heaven drowning in her scent.

"Who's he?" Shingo asked.

"This is Sesshoumaru," Usagi said.

"Sesshoumaru this is my little brother Shingo and my cat Luna," Usagi said. "Why are you here Shingo?"

"The senshi came looking for you and killed our okaasan and otousan then left. They didn't know I was there but I heard Tuxedo Kamen say `Let's go get that little brat and that will drag her out.' A green light flashed and I was here," he said.

"Youkais have been after us," Luna said. "He has a scratch on his arm that I tended as good as I could."

Usagi grabbed her brother's arm gently and looked at it. "A wolf," she said.

Inuyasha sniffed it and growled. "Kouga's tribe," he growled.

"Kagome, do you have a first aid kit?" Usagi asked.

"Here, let me help," Kagome said and moved over to them.

Sango came and the three women began to tend to Shingo's arm.

"It's broken," Kaede said.

"Hai, it is," Kagome said.

"Just leave ye to me and I'll take care of ye," Kaede said and the three women moved away.

Kaede sat down and bandaged Shingo up and gave him some soup along with Rin.

They sat together against a wall watching the others talk.

"What happened to the wolf that scratched him?" Usagi asked.

"I killed it," Luna said.

"Good," Usagi said.

"Shingo, the senshi are no longer friends. They can't be trusted. If you see any of them around here, you find one of us immediately and we'll deal with them then," Usagi said.

"Ok sis," Shingo said.

"Sesshoumaru, I want to talk with you," Usagi said. "Outside."

Sesshoumaru heard Miroku and Inuyasha's stifled laughter. Miroku made a whip sound and they laughed harder.

Sesshoumaru got up and followed Usagi outside the hut.

"Yes my koi?" he asked and gave her a soft kiss on her lips.

Usagi returned the kiss and he wrapped his arms around her bringing her closer to him.

"Thank you for finding my cat and little Oniisan," Usagi whispered in his ear. "I know it was hard for you to bring him to me, considering he's a human."

Sesshoumaru kissed her softly on her cheek then they began to kiss each other deeply.

And Usagi pulled back.

Sesshoumaru looked at her with question in his eyes. "That's for earlier," she said and walked back in the hut.

He followed her and then came back out with Jaken and Rin.

Usagi hurried outside after him gave him a goodnight kiss and then went back in the hut.

"Is Usagi going to be my new mommy?" Rin asked.

"Who told you that?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Miroku said that you and Usagi were going to have some pups soon and that Usagi was going to be a mommy," Rin said.

"He did?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Hai, Uncle Inu said `My dumb brother is too stupid to realized what he got and that Usagi was going to move on if he didn't make his move soon'," Rin said.

Sesshoumaru kept quiet. His brother was right, for once.

He needed to make his move and mate with Usagi before another youkai did.

"Sesshoumaru-sama," Jaken said and Sesshoumaru looked down at him.

Jaken stared at his master; Usagi was having a positive effect on the cold-hearted inu youkai.

"There was a youkai watching you and your future mate earlier," Jaken said.

"It was a saru youkai. Usagi can defeat him easily in battle," Sesshoumaru said and they walked inside his castle.

"Go to bed Rin," Sesshoumaru said.

Rin hurried off to bed leaving the two youkais by themselves.

"His intention weren't for battle," Jaken said once Rin was gone from the room.

Sesshoumaru sniffed the air. "It's not a threat anymore," he said and he closed his chamber doors.

Jaken went to his small room and looked at a book on his stand.

"There must be something in here to give my master the courage to mate with Usagi," Jaken said to his self as he flipped through the pages.

"Ah here's one," he said and began to read it.
