Dragons That Binds Us

 

Chapter 1

 

 

Disclaimer: No I don't own friggin any Inuyasha character or for that matter any Yu Yu Hakusho character. But any Original Character (OC) and stuff belongs to me, so nah!

 

 

Authors Note: Don't ask me what brought this idea on, I was in my bathroom putting on friggin make up for Pete's sake and it hit me. Don't even ask me why I decided to put Hiei in it, who wouldn't want him, he's got the destructo dragon for Pete's sake. Anyways I hope ya enjoy it, I donno know how long it's gonna be. And all those sugar junkie fan girls of Kouga's, back off he's mine! Grrrr. R & R please. Even if you don't like it, tell me so I can smite you with my own claws…grrr!

 

 

*~ Skye's POV ~*

 

I ran as hard as I could; I had to draw that damn dragon youkia away from the town. Should have known better than to stay in one place longer than a few days. Damn dragons always show up. *sigh*

 

`Oh shit! Watch out Skye!'

 

I skidded down into the dirt face first to avoid to claws of that damn flying lizard. I ground my teeth together as I try to stand and run again.

 

`Tetsu, you do realize this is your damn fault. Your damn relatives keeping coming to say hello.' I snarled inwards.

 

I came to an abrupt stop and looked towards the sky, it was near dusk and the damn dragon kept low to the shadows.

 

`Tetsu, get rid of it, it's gonna be dark soon and those villagers don't need to be homeless during the night. Unless you want to run all night, stupid damn dragon spirit.'

 

`Yeah yeah, just let me take over part of your body so I can communicate with it.'

 

`Oh for fucks sakes Tetsu, just get it done!'

 

I felt my body slowly going cold, my arms and legs going numb, it was like I was curling into myself. After 3 months of this I still wasn't used to it and quite frankly it scared me, knowing that Tetsu could easily take control of my physical body. I looked forward, I was on the move. Tetsu the Black Dragon, his spirit now lived inside of me; he knew how to talk to these dragon youkia that kept coming after me. No peace for 3 months, always on the move. A month ago I heard rumors of a village that had a hanyou as its guardian. Maybe if I can get there, I can rest, and figure out how to help Tetsu get back to his body. I was so wrapped up in my thought I finally looked and realized I was face to face with the scout of the Red Dragon realm. Communication between dragons was always mind to mind, it unnerved me to no end that I had to lock eyes with this huge ass beast for it to happen.

 

`Whoa man! Talk about dragon breath.'

 

`Quiet Skye, this Red Dragon scout has information about the hanyou village.'

 

That shut me up right quick. I felt the feeling in my legs slowly return again unfortunately I buckled down with my full weight, I took a deep breath and looked up to see the dragon finally leaving.

 

`Thanks Tetsu, I didn't want that village to suffer cause of us.'

 

`Skye, that red dragon said the hanyou village is 2 days walking, but there is a wolf's territory in between. We have to be careful.'

 

`Yeah and those two guys are still tracking us. I hope to god we can rest in this village.'

 

I dragged my feet under me and slowly stood up. I heard something snap behind me in the trees.

 

`Damnit'

 

*~ Regular POV ~*

 

Skye whirled around to face to trees, she crouched low and growled.

`If I swear, if it's not one thing it's another, well at least we got them away from the village. Tetsu, can you sense anything about these guys? Or if there is water near by so we can loose them downstream a bit?

 

`Skye, one of the men is familiar to me, I don't know if that is good or bad. As for their intentions, haven't the foggiest. As for the water, if we can do it, it's about 10 minute run, heading north west.'

 

`Sweet, you're awesome Tetsu; if I knew your body wasn't a huge ass dragon with bad breath I would give you a kiss.'

 

Skye smiled as she leaned back against a tree and looked up to the sky, momentarily caught up in the dance of colors that showed on the clouds in the late evening. She took in a few deep breaths, getting herself ready for the run; she thought she would have more time, until she heard one of the men give a snort towards the other one. Skye ducked lower to the ground and scanned the area for their voices. She pinpointed the area and watched across the clearing as the two male figures stepped out.

 

Skye let a quizzically look come over her face as she looked them over. These two definitely did not look like the best of friends, almost total opposites of each other. One was shorter than the other. One had black hair, one had red. One was dark and broody, the other was overly exuberant.

 

`Skye, watch the dark hair one, he's the familiar.'

 

`Oh he's hot Tetsu, I don't mind watching him. Oh shit we better go.'

 

`Run Skye, I'll watch your back.'

 

Skye watched as the two men came closer to her area, her aura was almost snuffed out because she didn't want to let them detect her. Sweat began to roll down her face; she dug her nails into the soft bark, waiting for the right moment to flee.

 

`Tetsu, do something, they don't want me, they want you, all I did was wake up in this damn time and with you inside of me, there is no reason for them to want me.'

 

Skye choked back a sob and blinked the tears away furiously as she leaned her forehead against the rough bark of the tree.

 

`Skye, I know you hurt, and you're tired. I promise we will stop in the hanyou village. But for right now, listen to me, we will run but we have to time it right. I will flair your aura to knock them back, then you run to the stream.'

 

“Alright.” Skye whispered.

 

Skye peeked over the bushed she was hiding behind and watched, as soon as she felt her aura going out she was to run like the wind. She began to shiver as she felt small wave of energy crawl over her back and out her arms to her finger tips. From behind the bush she shot her arms out in front of her shooting out her aura, sending the 2 trackers flying across the clearing. She didn't wait; she jumped to her feet and ran towards the stream. She didn't wait for anything, her legs returned back to the old motion of cramped muscles while she ran, soon her mouth was dry and her lungs burned for air. She dodged trees, stumbled over roots and stones and just as she was about to give up she stopped the stream. Skye burst through the edge of the forest and stumbled down into the stream. She fell to her knees for a moment, gasping for air. She threw some water over her face quickly and then stood, and stumbled forward into a light run in to the direction of the fading light.

 

- Back at the clearing -

 

“Hiei, was the hell was that?” Kurama snorted as he slowly regained his footing.

 

“Kurama, that girl is running from us again, she's got something I need. And that my friend was the Black Dragon helping her.” Hiei spoke calmly as if nothing fazed him. “We'll catch up with her soon, right now we should rest.” He declared as he swung his halberd and sunk it in the earth.

 

 

AN: This story will be slow going just like my other ones, real life and other influences slow me down in writing now, so bare with me. R&R please.
