Chapter 11
Nothing More than Enemies
His eyes fuzzed in and out of focus. The sky becoming its brilliant blue and surrounding scents of the forest soothed his nerves. He could hear a comforting voice, was it talking to him? Where was it coming from? His eyes lazily roamed in there sockets, moving back and forth trying to find the origin of the voice.
They landed on a girl. He instantly knew who she was, and he jumped up out of her reach, growling. "KIKYO! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" He yelled, his voice not holding up to the scream, breaking in mid sentence.
Kagome, still sitting on her knees, drew back from Inuyasha. She didn't understand, why was he acting like this? "Inuyasha, I'm not..." she began only to be interrupted by the yelling of the hanyou, his screaming becoming an ever present annoyance for Kurama.
"Inuyasha! Would you listen to me!" Kagome screeched right back, forcing her shaken body up, her own anger pumping through her veins. That was the only thing giving her the courage to face the enraged hanyou, who had absolutely no control over his powers.
"I'm not Kikyo! How many times do we have to go over this? I'm Kagome." She said, placing her hand over her chest, calming herself down. "Sure, and I'm a Taiyoukai." Inuyasha replied with sarcasm, something that didn't surprise Kagome.
She wouldn't be able to control him, his rosary was gone. She studied him. Everything was different. She could remember every little fight they ever had, from her being useless and nothing like Kikyo to Kouga and other males that had any slight attraction towards her.
"Tell me something Inuyasha, do I really and truly look like this Kikyo?" Kagome asked, turning her head, then body, showing herself off like a runway model. Inuyasha looked at her, he could see several similarities, but several differences also. "Yes and No." He replied.
Kagome was trying her best to get on his good side. She didn't want to be at the end his claws. She looked over at Kurama and shook her head. His sympathy reached her, though not through words but through something not even scientists could explain.
Before Kagome could blink, she felt a rush of wind, looking around, scanning the surroundings, she seen no sign of Inuyasha. "Kurama, we need to go back through the well, something went wrong."
******
The two walked back to the well, Kagome's heart heavily weighted with grief, she walked alone. She choose not to get close to Kurama, she didn't want any more sympathy. Not for something that was in her 'past'. She didn't care for Inuyasha anymore, or was that just what she told her heart.
Someone new was invading her heart, even though she didn't want it to happen, it was in fact happening and every time she laid eyes on him, he got through the barrier she built up around her heart, a little more each time. As they reached the well, Kagome began to think about Kurama, what did she know about him?
She kept pondering even after they jumped into the well.

The two emerged, not prepared for what they were about to see. Forest, nothing but forest. Kagome lead Kurama back to the god's tree, and there was Inuyasha, pinned to the colossal tree.
What was going on?!
Kurama looked at Kagome. "I'm afraid that we're stuck in a time loop." He said. Kagome looked back up at Inuyasha, and began to move to him, but was stopped by Kurama. "Do you think it wise to awaken him once again. Remember that last time he wasn't too happy to see you." She shook her head and backed away form the tree.
"What should we do?" She asked, scared, nothing but pure fear racing through her. She was stuck, stuck in an ever looping time trap that someone so cleverly set up for her to fall into to.
At least she had Kurama, but did she really? She then began to think, did she really have feelings for this man?
"Yes." She mumbled aloud. "What?" Kurama asked, he was confused by her sudden out burst. "Oh, just thinking out loud." She lied, but it was a little one. "What were you thinking about in your head?" He asked pointing to his own head. "Just that if we're in the time before I came in to play, you know the first time that I was pulled through the well, Keade should still be alive and the Shikon no Tama should be in one piece."
"But you have a piece, so its not." Kurama responded. "Damn, I didn't think of that." She mumbled. "But Keade should still be alive!" She yelped. "Come on! This way!" She stated with a yell, and latched on to Kurama's hand and began to drag him through the brush, onto Keade's village.
They broke through the never ending foliage, right into the village. She ran in not afraid of the stares she was receiving, she knew that they thought that she was Kikyo. She continued through the bustling village, dragging poor Kurama along behind her. She ran into Keade's hutch and stopped, causing Kurama to have a not so pleasant encounter with the floor. Well he didn't want to run into Kagome, trying his best to be a gentleman.
Keade looked up at the strange couple. Then noticed the strong resemblance between the girl and her sister. She stood up and walked over to the strangely dressed young woman and began to examine her, although she closely resembled her deceased sister, she was no Kikyo. "What do ye want?" She asked, turning back around, taking her seat by her cooking herbs.
"I'm Kagome, I know this is going to sound horribly ridiculous to you, but I know you, Inuyasha and your sister, and Onigumo, and of the betrayal and everything." She said in a single sentence. "I know of your death and Naraku. I know everything, I even know that your sister is going to be resurected by the witch Urasue."
"How do ye know of all this." Keade asked, a little surprised by the young woman. "If ye are a witch, we have no use for ye, now be gone!" She yelled as she pulled out an enchanted seal. "No, Keade, I'm not a witch, believe it or not, I knew you, I'm from the future." Kagome tried, but to know avail, Keade wanted nothing to do with this 'witch'.
"Keade! Look!" Kagome screamed ducking from the enchanted seal flying at her. There in Kagome's hand revealed the little fragment. Keada's mouth dropped open and for the first time ever, Kagome seen the older woman cry, she just broke down. "Oh, come here child." Keade called out, holding her arms open for her to enter them.
Kagome went to her. She hugged Keade. "You still don't know me do you?" Kagome asked.
"No, I do not. But no need to worry, the gods have sent ye here for some reason and I'm going to help ye the best I am able." Keade answered, her tears drying.

Okay I'm stopping right here, I have no idea were this is going to go and I'm not too happy with this chapter, so I'm thinking about rewriting it. If ya'll like it, I'll continue, if not I'll happily trash this chapter and rework it.
Thanks for all the reviews, I know definitely that in at least two chapters, by the way it's going, Kagome will end up with Kurama, but like I said its all up to ya'll.
