Prologue

 

(In spirit world)

 

Koenma was standing on top of his desk telling his spirit detectives their new assignment about a demon that has stolen artifact and was in a park near the ancient Sunset Shrine.

 

“The demon is an upper E class demon that has stole a sword from the Hikawa shrine in Hikawa district but he ran all the way to the park out side of the Sunset Shrine. Your mission is to kill and retrieve the sword and bring it back to Spirit World.” Toddler said.

 

After Koenma was threw talking a portal opened up under them causing them to drop through, three of the detectives landed on their feet but the last sadly landed on his head.

 

(In park)

 

After they got situated with their situation they started looking for the demon. The demon was headed towards the Sunset Shrine to get the deadly Sounga the sword of Hell. The demon was in the park across from the shrine when they caught up with him. Just when he was about to reach the street Yusuke jumped in front of him.

 

“Where do you think you are going?” Yusuke asked.

 

“What do you puny humans think your going to do something about it?” the demon said laughing.

 

“Human don't ever put me with those idiotic things.” Hiei said arrogantly.

 

“Hey!!!!” Kurama, Yusuke, and Baka said the same time.

 

“And here I thought you seen your selves superior to humans I guess not if your saying that.” Hiei said arrogantly again.

 

The demon got pissed from being ignored and he attacked Hiei and Kurama first. He hit Hiei in his right shoulder busting it and hit Kurama in his left side stomach and arm. But he didn't know what attacking them would cause. Hiei and Kurama both got very pissed at the demon and started attacking him Hiei attacked the demon but was blocked with Toukijin and it shot Hiei with a fairly week energy shock and paralyzed him. The other detectives noticed him laying on the ground not moving or anything.

 

“Yo, Hiei are you alright?” Yusuke asked oh so stupidly.

 

“You baka, I can't move, I think it's an affect from the damn sword.” Hiei said pissed.

 

(Back to the fight)

 

Kurama attacked the demon but just as he was about to hit him the demon disappeared into thin air. Just before the demon attacked Kurama from the back Kuwabara jumped in and struck the demon with his spirit sword. But the blast from Toukijin sent him into la la land. Yusuke shot his spirit gun at the demon but Toukijin deflected it causing it to go back at Yusuke. But before it reached its target Yusuke was pulled out of the way by Kurama but Yusuke got clipped in the left arm causing his shirt to rip and his arm to become unusable. The demon then decides to run Kurama threw the stomach with Toukijin. Then Toukijin decides it doesn't like it's master and killed him. Kurama then felt a pull coming from the shrine and headed in that direction. When he got there he headed for the tree in the courtyard and jumped up in it to rest.

 

(Feudal Era)

 

In Kaede's hut everyone but InuYasha was sitting in the hut around the fire. When InuYasha came in with Kikyo right behind him.

 

“Everyone Kikyo is joining the group so whoever don't like it they can leave.” InuYasha said as he sat down in the corner with the corpse.

 

For the next few minutes all was quiet but then Kagome got up gave Kaede, Miroku (This time he didn't try anything), Shippo, then Sango a hug and also asking to borrow Kirara for a minute. Then got up and started walking out the hut.

 

“Hey wench where do you think your going?” InuYasha said pissed.

 

“`Everyone Kikyo is joining the group so whoever don't like it they can leave.'” Mimicked him and with that Kagome walked out the hut and climbed on the back of the newly transformed Kirara and flew to the well leaving InuYasha dumbfounded.

 

She passes threw the well getting out in the present she then storms into the house and slammed the door behind her. She then went up stairs after saying hi to her family. She put on Aqua's Lollipop (Candyman)

After that Kagome was feeling a lot better. So she went down stairs and headed into the kitchen and grabbed some chocolate chip cookies freshly out of the oven and ran out side with her mom yelling at her about not spoiling her appetite for dinner. She walked out to the middle of the courtyard and seen stains of red on the courtyard stone ground. She followed it to the sacred tree and looked around being she didn't see anything wrong she sat under the tree and began eating her cookies while thinking about what InuYasha had done.
