Chapter 22: The invitation

 

 

 

 

As Kitsu sat on the bed with tears silenty running down her face she heard the door close. Already knowing it was Yoko she didn't bother looking up. She then felt herself being pulled into Yoko's lap as he began to rock her back and fourth slowly. This simple gentle gesture soothed Kitsu to the point of relaxing a little.

 

 

 

"It's alright you don't have to cry tears don't fit your beautiful face." Despite what Yoko said it still hurt to know that one of the people she loved didn't support her.

 

 

"But why Yoko? Why would he do that to me?" Kitsu said through sobs.

 

 

"I don't know Kit." Yoko said still rocking Kitsu in his arms as she burried her face in his chest as he felt the heat of her tears seep through.

 

 

"It is ten in the morning and you still haven't had your breakfast yet Kit."

 

 

"It slipped my mind." Kitsu responded as she started to settle down. A minute passed and then some one started to hit the door rapidly making Kitsu jump.

 

 

"Kitsu it is Keisha she is here!" At hearing this Kitsu jumped out of Yoko's lap and went to the door with Yoko behind her. Kitsu opened the door and walked out wiping the tear stains off of her face with her tail and headed to the door with Kida.

 

 

"Where is she?" Kitsu asked as everyone else joined them at the door to she who this Keisha person was except for Shippo who was still asleep.

 

 

"Yoko's botany haven't let her through the woods yet." Kida said looking at Yoko silently asking him to let Keisha pass.

 

 

"It is up to her." Yoko said nodded toward Kitsu.

 

 

"Let her through." Kitsu said. Shortly after a dog demon who was 5 feet 7 inches with elbow length unbound brown hair, dark blue eyes who had dog ears at the top of her head, and a brown tail. Kitsu, Kida, and Ki then approached Keisha as everyone else was close behind as Yoko, Sesshoamaru and Kuronue was closer.

 

 

"Why have you tracked me down and why have you come?" Kitsu said.

 

 

"Chill I just came here to give you a message six months from now Naddie is throwing a female demon tournament and she wanted you Kida, Ki, and Keia to participate. There is only allowed to be a group of three so I guess you have a problem."

 

 

"I am sorry but Keia won't be participating." Kida said sadly.

 

 

"One question will Naddie be participating?" Kitsu asked.

 

 

"Yes we are in the same group and what are you three doing hanging around with these girls." Keisha said directing her question to Yoko, Sesshomaru, and Kuronue.

 

 

"Yeah and what of it." Yoko said slightly annoyed with her question.

 

 

"I haven't seen these three for like three hundred years when they were on the cliff and you three jumped up the cliff and kissed them I didn't think they still had your interest."

 

 

"You are still that same snobby little bitch that is why we didn't hang with you. You always thought you were better than some one but to tell you nobody likes you and I ain't afraid to bitch slap you!" Kida then put her hand over Ki's mouth while still glaring at Keisha.

 

 

Keisha then went over to Sesshomaru and put her arms around him while pressing her body against his saying, "Oh Fluffy why are you still hanging with this wench." Sesshomaru then growled at Keisha warning her to get off of him as Keisha was pulled off.

 

 

Turning around Keisha said, "Who dares touch me."

 

 

"I did you got a problem with it. If you hadn't noticed Sesshy ain't interested in you no way so get away." Kida said clearly angry.

 

 

"Oh I see you still like him." Keisha said clearly messing with Kida.

 

 

"I never said that." Kida said in denial.

 

 

"Keisha." Kitsu said to get her attention.

 

 

"Yeah." Keisha said looking toward Kitsu.

 

 

"Are you participating in the tournament?" Kitsu asked.

 

 

"Yeah."

 

 

"I'm in." Kitsu, Ki, and Kida said in unison.

 

 

"Why the sudden change?" Keisha asked.

 

 

"To kick you and Naddie's ass." Kitsu, Ki, and Kida said in unison.

 

 

"Anyway here is where I will be at Fluffy if you want to stop by." Keisha said holding a piece of paper out to Sesshomaru. Keisha then felt something hit her in the back of the head and fell to the ground. She then got up and turned around seeing it was Kida's fist which collided with her head.

 

 

"Get the hell out of here before I get ugly." Kida said calmly.

 

 

"Here Fluffy. You are already ugly." Keisha said offering the paper to Sesshomaru again.

 

 

"I am not interested in your where abouts." Sesshomaru said anoid.

 

 

"Just to let you know Keisha, Kida and Sesshomaru are mated." Kitsu lied to get to annoying demon to leave.

 

 

"We are?" Kida asked blushing as Kitsu stomped her foot.

 

 

"Yes they are happily mated and don't need you to butt in." Sesshomaru was about to say something but Ki and Kitsu glared at him telling him to not say anything.

 

 

"Oh is that so well bye!" Keisha said turning around storming past Kitsu, Kida, and Ki.

 

 

"Shall I?" Kida asked looking at Kitsu and Ki who smirked and nodded. Kida then held out her arm and a blue aura gathered as an ice beam shot out of her hand and hit Keisha in the back sending her scooting to the woods.

 

 

"Just to let you know you can never be like your older sister Keia you ugly mutt so quit trying!" Ki yelled after her.

 

 

"Don't worry it won't kill her but it will help her travel faster. You don't know how long I have waited to do that" Kida said.

 

 

"I can't believe her she is still after Sesshomaru" Kitsu said.

 

 

"One question what is all this about Sesshomaru and I mated." Kida said looking at Kitsu and Ki for answers.

 

 

"It was the only way to get rid of her so deal with it besides I know that soon you will make my lie true." Kitsu answered.

 

 

"Why you!" Kida said growling. Kitsu then licked her finger and put it on Kitsu's arm making a psst noise.

 

 

"You are still hot a bothered by that kiss" Ki said.

 

 

"One question you three are participating in the tournament?" Sesshomaru asked.

 

 

"How can you Kitsu you are pregnant?"

 

 

"The tournament is in six months the kits will be born in four and a half months" Kitsu verified.

 

 

"Don't worry guys we won't get killed I mean come on we are the best kick ass group there is I mean we are B-class demons for heavens sake" Ki said.

 

 

"I never heard of a S-class female so we are safe." Kida said.

 

 

"Exactly what are you three going to accomplish going to this tournament?" Miroku asked.

 

 

"We get to kick Keisha and Naddie's butt." Ki said.

 

 

"Wait don't tell me I guess it is time to get revenge." Kida said sniffing to air.

 

 

"What is it?" Ki asked.

 

 

"The thing is passing by." Kida said.

 

 

"What thing?" Kitsu asked.

 

 

"The thing that killed my mother!" Kida said as she ran off.

 

 

"Who killed her mother?" Inuyasha asked.

 

 

"A miko named Kikyo." Kitsu answered.

 

 

"What she is here Kikyo is here?" With that said Inuyasha ran off as Kitsu, Ki, Yoko, Sesshomaru, Kuronue, Sango, Miroku, Kagome, Koga, Dimuri, Michael, Sumi, and Sano ran behind Kida and Inuyasha.
