Everyone awoke in a better mood, except Inuyasha anyway. He was still mad that Kagome had so much power. It made him look weak even though he would NEVER admit it. Anyway once breakfast was over (RAMEN!) the really large group set on its way. Shippo was sitting on Kagome's shoulder staring at Kurama who was walking next to her. Miroku was walking next to Sango trying to grope her. Inuyasha was in front of everyone. Hiei was flitting tree to tree. Kuwabara and Yusuke were fighting in the rear. Jade, Jade was walking behind Inuyasha and watching Hiei, not that she would acknowledge that to anyone - not even herself.
They had been walking all morning and it was now about noon. So of course, Kagome asked Inuyasha if they could break for lunch and the normal argument now ensued.
"Inuyasha can we stop for a break?"
"No wench we don't need to waste any more time - we had to wait long enough for you to take your damn tests, then we had to wait even longer for your new 'teammates'."
"Please Inuyasha? We need to rest we've been walking all morning."
"NO! Suck it up weakling. We are not stopping."
Now we all know he shouldn't have said that because he would regret it. Even he knew that but his mouth is not connected to his brain and he couldn't stop himself.
"Inuyasha.....OSWARI!"
Inuyasha meet your six-foot hole in the ground. Ground meet a very in pain Inuyasha.
When he was finally able to crawl out of the Inuyasha shaped hole in the ground, everyone was already sitting down and waiting for their lunch.
Out of nowhere, something barreled into Kagome knocking her over.
“Kagome-neechan! Kagome-neechan! Rin is so happy to see you! Where is Shippo? Who are these people?...”
“Rin-I am happy to see you too. Shippo is over in the field playing, and these people are my new friends.”
Well, as we all know, where Rin is, Sesshoumaru is. So, of course, he came walking out of the woods from the same direction Rin had come from. And guess who jumps up and tries to attack him. No one else bothered because they could see he wasn’t there to fight. Kagome noticed this too so she had to stop Inuyasha of course.
“Oswari.”
“What you do that for bitch? He could kill us you know, he has tried to before.”
“He wouldn’t have brought Rin if he were going to try anything Inuyasha.”
“How sad but befitting that you get shown up by your wench, hanyou.” mono-toned the taiyoukai, belittling the hanyou.
Kagome, standing up and looking the Western Lord defiantly in the eye, started yelling “I am NOT his wench, and my name is Kagome, Ka-Go-Me, and I know that you are not as infantile as to not understand the concept of using someone’s name, you say your own often enough.”
Scowling, he replied “Know your place wench or I, Sesshoumaru, will have to teach you.”
Getting even angrier, she said “See what I mean? You did it again-you talked in the third person-can you not remember your own name unless you repeat it every time you speak?”
“I do not have the time or patience to have a verbal sparring match with you human.” spitting out the word human as if it were derogatory. “I came here to offer my help with the fight against Naraku-I do believe that you are the only two groups left with Shikon fragments-am I not correct?”
“You are. And we could use your help.”
“Wench!” roared Inuyasha “Are you insane? Do you not remember the number of times he has tried to kill you? Besides we don’t need his help, I could kill Naraku by myself.”
“Actually, the miko is the only one who has been able to do any damage to the despicable hanyou, so as it seems she is the only one able to kill him. We just have to weaken him, and make sure he stays so she can kill him.”
“What that weakling? She’d be dead if I weren’t here to protect her, all of them would be. She couldn’t even put a dent in Naraku’s defenses.”

When I heard what Inuyasha was saying about Kagome and the others, I was pissed. I don’t really know why, I just felt I needed to defend her. I may think she is cute but that still does not excuse me losing my cool like that. I must like her more than I thought.

Not even bothering to get up from where he had been sitting, Kurama pulled a rose out of his hair, and turned it into his famous whip (surprising everyone who hadn’t seen it before, even Sess, although he didn’t show it). With one flick of the wrist, it wrapped around Inyasha’s neck and pulled him to the ground.
“How many times do we have to tell you she is not weak just untrained? Are you to much of a simpleton to understand that? Or is your manly pride threatened by the thought of being bested by a mere human girl? Your just an egotistical jackass that can’t admit defeat to someone you deem inferior to yourself, when in fact you are the one who is inferior.” Kurama spit out trying to hold his anger in check, he didn’t really want to kill Inuyasha, but the more Inuyasha spoke, the more he really wanted to (someone’s got a crush!).
“Kurama,” Kagome said touching his shoulder, “Kurama please let him go he is turning blue and we still need him to fight Naraku.” Leaning over she whispered in his ear, “And thank you for defending me, that was really sweet of you.”
“It was nothing,” he stammered, “I just don’t like the way he treats you, any of you for that matter. How do you put up with it?”
“Well you get used to it after awhile, that and when he gets too out of line I just subdue him.”
“You are really pathetic Inuyasha, allowing yourself to be beaten like that by a human.” stated the taiyoukai, sneering at his sibling.
“He is not human, he is a kitsune spirit in a human body. There is a difference.” said Hiei.
Completely ignoring Hiei, Sesshoumaru turned to Kagome and asked “Do you want my help or not? If not I shall take Rin and be on my way.”
“Yes we want your help Sesshoumaru.”
“No we-“
“Oswari. Shut up Inuyasha.”
“Very well.”
“It’s time to get moving anyway. Help me pack up Kurama?”
“We head Northwest, onto the border between the lands-that is where Naraku is rumored to be.”
“Northwest it is.”

Hello again. I uploaded Chapter four today. I hope you like it. I don't think I do but then again who does like their own work? Review so I know if I should change it or not. Tell me what you guys would like to see.
I fixed a naming mistake in the prologue I hadn't caught. Thank you to Cataine for that.
To firegodess13 - hehe edward is cool. Yes, I can kill Kikyo, and I can knock Kuwabara out. I don't know about Inuyasha though, but who knows what I will do until the mood strikes me. I don't even really know. The reason Yusuke and Kuwabara got mad at Inuyasha was because of their honor codes. You remember them don't you? They just didn't like him calling a female whatever he called her I can't remember at the moment. It could have been anyone and they still would have done it. Oh and think about the Hiei being scared thing - you know Yusuke is stronger then Hiei and Kurama in the series, and if Kagome has FOUR TIMES that power wouldn't you be? He didn't say it out loud though, he thought it - so its ok. He can admit things like that to himself right?
To Jessica (Jesbeon@AOL.com) Hn....you said you thought that Kurama may have been a little to violent. Think about it though, his nice guy act is really only Shuuichi. He is also Youko Kurama - who happens to be ruthless when it comes to people he cares about - so he can be little mean and vindictive, he likes Kagome remember?
