Now if you have noticed, this very large group of travelers has not been attacked by any demons yet. Even they began to wonder about this.
"Hey girl is it only me or have you noticed it to?" said Jade to Kagome.
"Yes I have and it is starting to worry me."
"How the hell do you know what the hell each other are talking about?"
"We know each other very well."
"Oh."

*Hn. We haven't been attacked yet I wonder why. Even the inuyoukai seems to be on edge because of it. I am itching for a few warm up fights before we have to fight Naraku. It will give me the chance to see everyone else's strengths and weaknesses. Damn demons can't come out and play (A/N my first one! imagine Hiei with a pout on his face when he says that. Kawaii ain't it). I hope Jade don't get hurt though.*

And now, because it wouldn't be right if I didn't:
Just as Hiei finished thinking this, a really nasty looking wolf demon came smashing into the clearing. It was closest to Kuwabara, so he got hit first. The demon backhanded Kuwabara into a tree, where he hit his head hard. He is now laying on the ground unconscious. Inuyasha was the next to rush in with Tetsusaiga slashing away at the demon haphazardly. Sesshoumaru just stood in the background staring at Inuyasha and the demon with poorly veiled disgust and contempt. Yusuke fired off a couple of Spirit Guns, but they did little damage, just temporarily blinding him. Kurama had his Rose Whip tied around the demons right arm, preventing him from doing too much damage. Miroku had gone to use his Kazana, but Naraku's bee thingys came out of no where and he had to close it back up. Kilala and Sango seemed to be the only ones doing any real damage. Her Hiraikotsu was cutting into the demon every time it hit. Hiei watched the others fighting, absorbing little things about their techniques, strengths and weaknesses. Just as he was about to step in to kill the demon, he decided to look at Kagome and Jade. What he saw surprised him.

Both of the mikos were watching the fight and trying not to laugh.
*My lord, nothing seems to be working on the demon. I guess me and Kagome need to do something about this. Hiei doesn't seem to be doing anything, just watching.*
"Hey Kag-we have got to do something about this fight, it is taking forever."
"Yeah I know what you mean, the jewel shards are in his forehead, you aim there and I will aim for his heart."
"Sounds like a plan to me."

*What are they doing?*
The girls were standing side by side, both with their bows strung and arrows aimed at their respective targets.
"Oswari!" was they only thing everyone heard before the arrows flew. Kagome's hit home first, followed by Jade's. When Jade's hit, there was a bloodcurdling scream followed by silence. The demon had been disolved into dust. Kagome walked forward and grabbed the shards, purifying them instantly.

"Wench!" roared Inuyasha "what the hell do you think you doing!"
"I had to get you out of the way unless you wanted to be hit by two purified arrows."
"That is no excuse..!"
"There was no time to tell you to move, not like you would have anyway you arrogant ass." stated Jade, moving in front of Kagome and getting in Inuyasha's face.
Sesshoumaru, getting impatient decided to stop the fight.
"It's over, done with, the demon is dead, we need to get a move on. We still have to fight Naraku."
"You're right Sesshoumaru, we do need to get a move on, we still have to set up camp." sighed Kagome.

Okay. Here is the finished chapter. I don't really like it but I think that it is ok for now. I know some of you want to read the story as quick as you can, and I really appreciated the fact that you like the story. There is only one way you get to read the story quick-you become my beta. I still don't have one and would like one. If you wanna be the beta, just tell me in your review. Or email me. Something. Oh! I knocked Kuwabara out for those who wanted it.
Oh and I meant it when I said that I wouldn't finish the story if you guys didn't tell me what you wanted to see.
I have a couple ideas running through my head on a few other stories. I have been reading LOTS of Harry Potter fanfiction lately, and have an idea for that. I also have another idea for a IY/YYH crossover, so after I get another few chappies for this story out, be looking for one or both to pop up.
