Dammit! Now what am I supposed to do? I want to be with Kurama, but I don't want Koga to die, he is my friend. Why wouldn't he get it through his thick skull I don't want him! Damn wolf. Ugh, thick-skulled morons.
Kagome turns around with a pleading look on her face and says "Please Koga, leave here and stop chasing after me. I have told you time and again that I didn't like you that way, that you were a friend and nothing more. I don't want you to get hurt, but I don't want you, I want Kurama. I am sorry Koga, but please, if you want to stay my friend, you will leave."
The more Kagome said, the more crestfallen Koga's face became. It was finally sinking in that Kagome didn't love him.
"Ok Kagome, I guess I just hoped that eventually you would fall for me, I didn't want to think you wouldn't." and with that, Koga left, but not before turning to Youko and saying "If you hurt her in any way, I will kill you."

When Kagome turned away from me, I thought I was going to die of heartbreak. She really did choose him over me. When she started talking though, I was so happy I thought I was going to explode like fireworks. She wanted me! Not the wolf. Inari-sama thank you so much. What the hell does that wolf think he is talking about? Me, hurt Kagome? That wolf is nuts, I would never hurt her. I'd kill myself first. Kagome turned towards me after the wolf left with a happy look on her face. She didn't have to watch a friend die, and she got to stay with me. At least, I hope that is why she is happy.

Damn, and I thought he was going to die. She had to jump in the way didn't she. Well, at least I don't have to worry about him trying to take Kagome anymore.

"Now that the.....altercation is over, can we resume walking again? said Sesshoumaru, in his normal, expressionless tone
"Yeah we should get going, I sense a jewel shard in the direction we were heading."
Kurama, morphing back to his redheaded form, walked up to Kagome and grabbed her hand, giving her a chaste kiss on the lips. They continued on the groups previous route, waiting to talk about recent developments untill later.
