Throughout the day the strange group of friends, family and allies made their way closer to a goal - the last Shikon Shard before Naraku. They all knew it would be a hard fight, but they also knew it was imperitive they win, lest the world fall to ruin. Small conversations went on among a few, but it was a somber and quiet mood for them all. Little did two of the group know, but their mental converstions with themselves traveled along close, parallel lines.

This does not feel right. The jewel shard we head toward, I have a bad feeling about it. I will have to talk to Kagome about it later, she is talking to Kurama now. She is lucky, she can at least be with the man she loves, I however have no chance. The man, well demon, I love doesn't even acknowledge me. Of course, I haven't tried talking to him either. And I will not. I cannot. There is a prophecy containing Kagome and I. It basically says that the one to fall in love and have that love returned will not die. Which means one of us is going to die and that will be me. She cannot, she has Kurama and Shippo to care for; her family too. I have only her; Hiei too, but he will not know that.

We grow closer to the campsite now. Within a day and half, the large conglomerate of warriors for the light shall be one shard closer to Naraku. It will be a hard fight, but we will win. I have this sense of foreboding though, something will not go right. But I will have to discuss that later with the fox, since he and his mate to be are talking at the moment. I envy the Youko, he has no problem going for what he wants and getting it. He can get anything he wants, while others have to work so hard. He may not have been consciously looking to fall in love with the ningen, but he was looking for someone to love, you could see it deep in his eyes. He was lonely, even with all of his friends and family surrounding him. His ningen aspect has made him soft, but I can not deny that I would like to find someone to love. Everyone thinks I dont have any emotions, that I dont feel. They are wrong though, I do feel. I do love someone, but I will never tell. I am a Forbidden Child, and none will want me, so why bother getting laughed at? I will not embaress my self by telling the ningen that I love her when I know she cannot love me back.
