Review Responses:

Fanfic:
Yusuke's Angel, Dark Inu Fan: Yeah, Yusuke tried to “sit” Inuyasha, I'm sorry if I didn't clear that up too well.

MajinShodaime: Thank you for the well-rounded review. It helped a lot. I hope this chapter is a lot better, I'm sorry that the others weren't. Yes, I did use a cliché, and a bit sooner than I should have. It isn't all that appealing to me either. If it makes you feel any better, I'm fixing that. My story won't be all cliché, I just had to use that for a set-up.

Deathrosekitty: ^_^ Thank you. I'm glad that you like my story.

Mediaminer:

kagome15, defenestration, HeartStar: Thank you, you guys rock.

RabidFangirl101: I'm happy that I made your day. ^.^ That's exactly what I was thinking also, and I think it's a fairly original idea. I haven't seen another fic with it in it. I'm happy you like it.

Rocknroll7806: Yes, I know exactly what you mean. If you are interested in Yuskag's, you might want to go to http:// groups. yahoo. com/ group/ Yusuke_Kagome/ (delete the spaces.)

Emidra: Thanks! XD I know it is fun, isn't it?

“What makes you so special?” Yusuke pouted. If the spell had worked when others said `sit', it would have resulted in many hours of amusement for him. He hated being robbed of amusement.

“It just works that way!” She stomped her foot and faced him.

“Hey! You don't need to get all moody on me! I was only wondering why I can't make him eat dirt too.” Yusuke grumbled.

Kagome balled her hands into fists. “I am not getting moody!”

“Denying it doesn't make it any less true, y'know.” Yusuke told her. Her face was turning red with rage, and he congratulated himself. That is, until a certain dog-eared half-demon decided to put his two-cents in.

“You're getting a little too mouthy with Kagome for my liking. If anybody is going to be giving her a hard time, it's going to be me. I'm sure as hell not going to let a little punk like you do it.” Inuyasha snarled at him.

Yusuke smirked. He realized quickly, if he played his cards right, he could bait Inuyasha into a fight and get out unscathed. He doubted that Inuyasha could do much damage to him, at least not when Kagome was around. For some reason unknown to him, Kagome had power to subdue him when she needed to. Perhaps he could get his amusement after all.

“Is that right?” He grinned, “What are you gonna do about it, dog boy?”

As he predicted, Inuyasha lunged. Also, much to his delight, Kagome sat Inuyasha.

“Sit boy.”

THUD

“Can you two go two minutes without fighting?” Kagome huffed. She crossed her arms, and looked at the two. Shaking her head, she walked over to Inuyasha and knelt down. “Inuyasha? Are you alright?” She asked him gently.

“Keh, I'm fine.” He got up, and dusted himself off. “I really wish you would knock that off.”

“Isn't it nice to wish for things?” She smiled warmly at him, then frowned. “I wish you two would stop fighting for a bit.”

Yusuke stood staring at them with wide eyes. He hadn't expected that to happen. Kagome was supposed to side with him, not Inuyasha. There was more to this girl than Yusuke had originally thought. He shook his head as if to clear it, then started talking.

“I'll stop fighting with him, Kagome.” He paused when he heard her sigh in relief, “Just as long as I get some answers from you.” He smiled when her sigh turned into a groan.
“I know that you trust him Kagome, but it's going to take more than an empty promise to change my mind on him.” Inuyasha folded his arms into his sleeves. “I don't think you should tell him anything.”

“Inuyasha… please don't make this hard on me.” Kagome pouted.

“I'm not as trusting as you are Kagome. This guy rubs me the wrong way.” Inuyasha told her.

“So did Sango and Miroku.” Kagome pointed out.

“That's different, and you know it!”

“How is that different?!”

“It just is!”

“Um…guys?” Yusuke asked, pulling them out of their argument.

“What?!” Inuyasha and Kagome growled at the same time.

“I'm right here you know.”

Inuyasha glared at Yusuke. “Great, an ego-maniac.” Inuyasha said.

Kagome smiled. “At least you have something in common now.”

Yusuke laughed a bit. Sitting down on the bench, he started thinking about how those two came to know each other. The way they acted around each other proved that they had been friends for awhile. But how did Kagome find out about demons? He was also curious about the necklace that Inuyasha wore. He wanted answers.

“Kagome, I don't care what that dog thinks,” Yusuke told her, “but I'm curious.”

“Yusuke…” she whined. “Right now?”

He nodded, “Yep, now would be good.”

“You won't believe it.” She tried.

“Try me.” He stood straight, and looked down at her. Intimidation didn't work on her, but he knew that if she knew he wasn't giving up, she would eventually give in. And not long after, give in is what she did.
She told him of how she traveled to the past, the jewel shattering, and eventually Naraku. Yusuke lounged on the bench as she told her tale, only stopping her for a few questions every now and then. During the middle of her telling of Sango, Yusuke's communicator went off.

“You'll have to excuse me for a second.” Yusuke groaned as he walked off a bit, leaving Inuyasha and Kagome at the bench. “Yo, what's the problem this time?”

Botan's cheery voice assaulted his ears, “Nothing is wrong, Yusuke.”

“Then why are you calling? I'm in the middle of something.” He told her.

“I certainly hope it isn't important then, we're taking you shopping!” Botan grinned at him.

Yusuke's eyes widened, then very quickly narrowed. Shopping? What was Botan thinking? “What do you mean `we're taking you shopping'?!”

“You don't expect to wear those horrible clothes for the rest of your life, do you?”

“Hey, I happen to like this outfit, thanks!” Yusuke rolled his eyes. What was she up to?

“Fine, keep that... outfit, was what you called it? But either way, come with us!” Botan tried again.

Yusuke's eyebrows raised, “Just who is `us'?”

Botan clapped her hands together, and smiled widely. “Keiko, Kurama, and I. You can bring that charming girl behind you if you want. Is she the reason you've been so lost in thought lately? It doesn't suit you, really.”

Yusuke turned around to see Kagome. She stood a few feet behind him with her hands behind her back. She smiled sheepishly at him. “Girlfriend?” she asked.

“Grim Reaper.” He told her plainly.

Botan was still chatting happily away at the communicator while they were having their small conversation. “So then we decided to all take a day off…”

“I see.” Kagome peeked her head over Yusuke's shoulder. “A bit colorful for a grim reaper, I'd say. You still didn't answer my question, though.”

Yusuke shook his head, “No, Botan is not my girlfriend. More like annoying sister of sorts.”

Kagome nodded. “She does realize that you aren't listening to her anymore, doesn't she?”

Looking down at the communicator, Yusuke laughed a bit.

“Suppose not.” He said, then he closed the communicator.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I'm sorry its so short, I just needed to get SOMETHING out, its been awhile. I'm sort of in a writer's block rut thingy, and I've been busy with school and work. Still excuses, excuses. Not what you guys want I'm sure, but I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks all!
