2 Chapter

Kagome stood in front of a mirror fixing her hair, while she patiently waited for her sister to come out of the bathroom so they could head of to school together. While so, her brother stumbled upon their room.

`Hey Kags!' he said and jumped on her bed, while she tied her hair in two messy buns, leaving some hair to fall down her face. She was dressed in a pair of low, tight jean capris and a black tank top with no sleeves, what so ever. It had a little black bow in front.

`Hey squirt!' she greeted and sat next to him, grabbing a pillow and putting it in her lap.
`What do you want?' she asked and ruffled up his hair. She laughed at his complains as he tried to fix it back while grumbling something about how everyone treats him like a 5 year old child.

`Happy to be back?' Souta finally asked after being able to free him self from Kagomes friendly hug and cleaned up traces of her kisses away from his face.

`Yes, I am ` she sighed and stared lovingly back at him. Getting the hint, Souta moved backwards.

`Don't give me that look' he warned as he felt his back hitting the solid wall.

`I missed you Souta' she smiled and reached forward with her hands.

`Don't dare!' he said and jumped to his feet.

`But I missed you so much!' she squealed as he panicking ran towards the door, unfortunately Kagome was quicker. She tackled him to the floor and started tickling him from top to bottom. He tried to push her away but no use.

`Come on sis…haha…get…off' he managed to make out before irrupting in to laughter.

`Say you love me.' she demanded and evil grin spreading across her face.

`No…hahaha…way!'

`Say it!' she ordered as her fingers started to tickle him even faster.

`N…hahaha…NO!' he just couldn't take it anymore, his eyes were filing with happy tears.
That moment he decided to never ever go visit his two sisters in the morning, they always acted weird and had something strange planed.

`Love me, Love me. Say that you love me!' Kagome sang and continued doing what she was just seconds ago.

`O-k…hahaha…I…hahaha…lo…ve you…hahaha' he grabbed his stomach and tried to breath, as Kagome stood up and placed her hands on her hips, looking down at her baby brother with a satisfied smirk on her face.

`You…are…so going…to pay for this' Souta warned and stumbled to his feet.

`Really?' she quirked an eyebrow at him.

`Really!' not a second and Souta lunched towards Kagome, catching her of guard. He grabbed her by the wrists and pined her to the wall.

`Not a dine…it's but kicking time!'

`Oh please. You watch way to many cartoons!' She said sarcastically and tried to get out of his hold. A simple game of tickling turned in to a game of arm wrestling. So when Kikyou exited the bathroom she wasn't at least surprised.

`So what else is new?' Kikyou rolled her eyes and shook her head, before making her way down the hall and into the kitchen to get some breakfast. She really had no intentions of bugging in on her siblings rivalry. It was always like this in the old times before Kagome left. Every morning she would tease Souta or do something and later on, they would start arm wrestling until Kagome would find a way to get out of his hold, then her baby brother would say something he shouldn't and the chase around the house would begin.

Speaking of chase…

`Get back here you little runt!'

`Nananana! Catch me if you can, cause I'm the ginger bred-man!' Souta sang and ran down the stairs, Kagome hot on his trail.

`I'll show you ginger bred man! When I get my hands on you there will be only crumples left behind!' she yelled after him.

Kikyou only sighed before returning her attention back to her toast and coffee.
She didn't mind hearing things break as the two of them were still at it. She kinda missed this.
Even tho their mother will not be pleased upon seeing the mess they created, she still loved the thought Kagome was back and she was here to stay…for good. At least she hoped so.

The day Kagome went to America, felt like the worst day in her life. Kikyou could not smile for weeks as well she couldn't sleep or even eat. All she could do was stare at her sisters bed in their room and at her once filled, but then completely empty drawers and shelves.

When the airplane took of that afternoon, the world for Kikyou broke apart. It was like a piece of her had been torn away and if she could blame anybody at that time, she blamed her dad. The reason Kagome even went to L.A. Just cause her parents got divorced
and one of the girls had to live with their father, Kagome knew how much Japan and friends meant to Kikyou, so she willingly offered her self to go and live with, what Kikyou liked to call, the ``cold hearted bastard''.

But now that she was back, Kikyou knew everything would be A-ok!

She was lost in her thoughts for a couple more minutes, before a loud thud caught her attention. She curiously lifted her gaze from the magazine she was suppose to be reading and listened carefully. First what she could make out were Soutas curses about something that sounded like `Fucking cat! Always getting in the way' and the other voice that she recognized as Kagomes laughter. Then her brother started yelling and in a few seconds she saw how Kagome ran around the table in the kitchen an angry Souta after her.

`Haha, little baby needs glasses!' Kagome teased while holding on to a chair, looking at Souta on the other side.

`Do not! How was I supposed to see that fat cat of yours that lies around like a bag of potatoes, everywhere he pleases!' His anger rising and his veins slowly starting to pop on his head as he rubbed his sore, pinkish nose. From what she guessed, it was red because he apparently hit with it in something.

`Buyo is not a potato!'

`Yes he is! The god damn cat weights more then I do!' Souta snorted as a mater of fact.
Buyo was actually the family pet. He was fat and round and all he did was sleep and eat and somehow he always managed to get in your way.

`Does not!'

`Does to!'

`Not!'

`To!'

`Not!'

`To!'

`Shut up potato head!' Kagome snorted and crossed her arms.

`I'm not a potato head!'

`Yes you are. If my cat is a potato then so are you!'

`Please, do I look anything like a vegetable?' Souta made a stupid look placing his palms on his chest, pissing his sis of even more.

`Depends…'

`Shut up! If I'm a potato then you are a pumpkin!'

`Hey!'

`What?! You mean your not? Well you sure do look like one…'

`Why you little…'

`Will you both just shut up!' Kikyou stood up and held her hands over her ears. `You're giving me a headache!'

`Stay out of this!' Souta glared.

`Yeah! This is between me and the potato man!'

`Pumpkin!'

`Potato man!'

`Pumpkin!'

`Potato man!'

`Crazy woman'

`Stupid jerk'

`Dumb ass'

`Idiot'

`Bitch'

`Bastard'

`Oh my God! What has gotten in to you two?'

Both Kagome and Souta spoon around and faced the fear of all fears…their mother.
She angrily stomped in their direction, giving them both a good wack on the head, while Kikyou burst out in to fits of giggles.

`I will not have such potty mouths in my house, but if you want to keep it up, you'll sleep in the dog house for a week! Did I make my self clear?' the two of them nodded their heads while looking at the floor. The moment their mom turned around, dead glares have been shot towards one another. Kagome cracked her knuckles, while Souta rounded up his sleeves and his hands turned in to fists.

`Now, sit down and eat your breakfast'

They all did as Mrs. Higurashi ordered. While Souta played with his bowl of cereals, Kagome and Kikyou got lost in a conversation about boys, shoes, make up and other stuff girls like to talk about. Meanwhile their mother was storing away groceries she bought in the store when she noticed something was missing.

`Uh…I forgot to buy potatoes'

After hearing Mrs. Higurashis words, Kagomes lips spread in to a huge grin, that even Kikyou new, wasn't a good sign.

`Maybe you can ask the potato man, he might have some'

`Ok, That's it! You're dead!' Souta shot up and grabbed his spoon, making his bowl of morning nutrition to spill all over. He followed Kagome, while yelling out all kinds of treats, leaving an amused Kikyou and a very confused mom behind.
Placing the bag on the counter and cleaning the mess, Mrs. Higurashi washed her hands, before asking…'Who's the potato man?' Kikyou spat out her drink and almost fell to the floor, dying from laughter.

Kagome ran around the living room, while Souta tried to hit her with the spoon he was holding. Ducking just in time, Kagome saw that her little brother was on the edge of sanity, so she quickly got out and towards the front door, her only escape.

Grabbing on to the knob, she turned it swiftly. Looking back to see Souta charging towards her like a bull and destroying everything in his way, she opened the door and ran out. Well at least that was her attempt.
Instead she bumped in to someone and almost lost the ground under her feet, as her vision started to get blurry. Apparently she hit in to something, cause her mind started to spin around. She did the only thing possible.

She wrapped her arms around the thing that kept her standing and buried her face in to something soft and muscular. It was like a blanket, but better. For some time she just stood like that, waiting for her blood in her brain to settle down and stop making her all dizzy. Feeling a little better, she glanced up and found her self staring in to a pair of the most amazing amber eyes she had ever seen in her life. First they were cold, but soon softened.
She smiled at the person all tho she couldn't even make out his face. Then…she passed out.
