Chapter 2: "You've gotta be kidding me!"

Disclaimer: *tears up * Their not mine but if they were we would probably be sitting around a camp fire singing kumbyah.

Kagome sat in her AP English class thinking about how interesting those two boys were. She sighed and rested her head on her hand having six minutes to blow before the class started. She jumped when she felt a tap on her shoulder. "So are they as cute close up as they are a far?"

Kagome smiled at Yura, "I think they are cute all around."

"Did you check out their butts then?"

Kagome laughed, "Well I wasn't checking them out that hard."

Yura smiled, "I wonder what other classes they have…"

"I have no idea. I forgot to ask them."

"Well we'll find out sooner or later."

Yura went back to her seat and took out some nail polish. Kagome shook her head and leaned her head back on her hand look out the window.

"What are you thinking about?" Kagome started turned her head and jumped abruptly when she saw not one but both Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru standing in front of her. She looked back at Yura, she had put the nail polish away and was primping herself up real quick as she saw them talking to Kagome.

Kagome turned her head back to them and said, "Oh I was just daydreaming. I didn't know you guys were going to be in my class. That is somewhat surprising."

"Well we didn't get a chance to tell you what classes we had," Sesshomaru spoke up first. Kagome blush, "Yeah I know. I completely forgot to ask. Why don't you guys take a seat?"

Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru took a seat one behind Kagome and one on the other side of Kagome. Inu Yasha turned his head and said, "Yeah we were sorta standing above you. Well where do you live at?"

"Oh I live in the old Shrine in the center of the town. A lot of people visit it. You should stop by some time." "Maybe we should…" Kagome look up at him and how he had stated that but then the teacher came in.

"Oh Miss Higurashi, I see you have already introduced yourself to the new students."

"Yes Mrs. Akinori." After that more students started filing into the class and finally the bell rang with the few latecomers still coming in. When they had all settled in Mrs Akinori stood up and said, "Well class I would like to introduce you to the two new transfer students. Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru Akamoto." There was a mumblings all around the class as attention was focused on them. Kagome sighed and opened up her text book to start reading ahead of the class.

"I would like to have a volunteer in the class help me with a little tutoring I need for someone?" No ones hand shot up. There was a long pregnant pause then finally Kagome put her hand up. "I will do it Mrs. Akinori."

"Thank you Miss Higurashi. I would like you to help tutor our new students so that they can catch up to what we are all reading." All the girls in the class gasped at this and Yura jumped. "I can help her Mrs. Akinori!"

"No that is ok. I believe Miss Higurashi can handle it by herself." There were envious eyes thrown at Kagome but Kagome was thinking, `Oh goodness what did I get myself into. I didn't know I would be tutoring them. I thought I would be someone with a major problem in this class.' She turned and looked at the two of them and they smiled. Inu Yasha mumbled for only her and his brother to hear, "My house."

Kagome sank into her seat and turned furiously red. The rest of the class went by slowly droning on about the background of the Greek Mythology. Kagome didn't know if she really wanted to do this.
