Chapter 3: "I Can't Believe This…"

Kagome pulled books upon books out of her locker. Not only were they in her English class but they had infiltrated her other classes also.

Inu Yasha was in her Art class, while Sesshomaru was in her Public Speaking and Accounting class. Another thing was that she always felt eyes on her. She didn't know who the hell was staring at her but it was getting on her last nerve.

She put some more books in her bag and more under her arms, not only did she have to tutor them in English but in the other classes that they were in with each other too. She had to teach Inu Yasha about all the greatest artist and about color theory. All this tutoring and she wasn't getting paid for it? Weren't they rich enough to get their own tutors?

Kagome kept grumbling to herself and started dropping books on the floor. She looked down and was ready to reach for the book but a tanned hand got to it before she did. She looked up and came face to face with Inu Yasha.

"You really shouldn't try to outdo yourself." Kagome narrowed her eyes and snatched the book back from him.

"I wouldn't be trying to out do myself if I didn't have so much tutoring that needed to be done this afternoon and only God knows how many more afternoons after that."

"Yes who knows how many things were gonna have to do during those afternoons. We're gonna be SO busy. I better make a do not disturb sign for our door and keep the phone off the hook." Kagome nodded her head the stopped, `Now if I knew better I would think there was a hidden innuendo there.'

She shook her head then she felt the books being lifted from her arms. "I'll take these back to the house myself. I'll meet you at our place. Let's say… six o'clock?"

"Sure… that's fine." Kagome stared at him as he walked off with her books in his arms.

"I saw that." Kagome turned around quickly and stared at the smug look on Sango's face. "You think he's cute Kag?"

Kagome blushed, "I am only tutoring him."

"You don't have to reassure me. I know. The whole school knows your tutoring those two boys."

Kagome blushed redder, "Sango your such a good friend," she stated sarcastically.

"Yeah I know. So when do you have to go see them?"

"Six o'clock."

"Miroku and I are gonna drive you over later on tonight."

"Awww thanks. Isn't it a long distance from the shrine to there?"

"Hell yeah! That is why I offered to drive you or else you would be walking there.

Kagome shook her head, "Ok so then 5:30?"

"Kag, it's even farther then that. I will pick you up at 5:00."

"What the… Oh alright." Sango turned around and started heading to Miroku's locker. "I might as well head home."

Kagome got back to the shrine, "Hey mom I have to tutor these two new boys at my school around six. I don't know when I will get back but will it be ok if I can go?"

"Sure honey, if you leave late just spend the night at Sango's."

"Thanks mom." Kagome ran upstairs and took all her clothes off to jump in the bath. After the bath was made up with her vanilla concoction she settled in it and started to doze off.

Bang Bang Bang.

Kagome sat up with a start. `What the fuck was that noise.' Sango burst into the bathroom, "Girl what the hell are you doing in the bath? Do you know what time it is?"

"What?!"

"It's freakin' 5:35. What the hell's wrong with you?"

"I must've fell asleep in here and didn't even realize what the time was?!" Kagome jumped out the bath and Sango threw her a towel.

"Do you have your clothes ready?"

"Uh… No…"

"Oh my goodness. You're a lost cause. Hurry up." Sango dragged her into the room. She started going through her closet while Kagome dried off. Sango smiled to herself as she pulled out this black skirt that came to about mid-thigh. Then she pulled out a strawberry pink shirt that said, `SEXY LADY'S WEAR PINK SHIRTS.'

She headed over to Kagome's dresser and pulled out a pink bag. Inside was a demi bra from Victoria's Secret and matching panties. She rifled through the draw and pulled out some lacy black thigh highs then handed everything to Kagome.

"I can't wear that! I am TUTORING!"

"Stop getting your panties in a wad and just put it on."

"But, but… I…"

"GIRL PUT IT ON! We're already late as it is!" Kagome sighed and got dressed. Sango then pulled Kagome over and pulled the top half of Kagome's hair into a bun. She picked up to rose covered chopsticks and stuck them into the bun to hold them in place. Then she spritzed Kagome with some Strawberries & Champagne Body Spray and gave her some pink lip-gloss. "Your good to go."

`For some reason I don't feel like I am just tutoring this is beginning to be just to much.' Sango grabbed Kagome's hand and pulled her downstairs. Miroku was talking to Mrs. Higurashi and she was blushing extremely hard.

"What did you say to her Miroku?"

"I just was mentioning how her striking beauty was being well kept and no wonder she has two lovely looking children."

Sango pushed Miroku out the door. "Bye Mrs. Higurashi."

"Have fun you three!," she said while throwing Kagome's backpack to her.

"Bye mom."

They jumped into the car and Sango looked at her watch. "Oh God it's 5:50. Move it Miroku!"

"Of course Sango dear."

Sango rolled her eyes, "We'll be there in break neck speed Kag."

"You don't have to rush I am only tutoring them."

"Ummmhmmmmmmm…"

Kagome rolled her eyes and settled in the seat. At 6:15 they came up to the gate to Inu Yasha's and Sesshomaru's mansion. There seemed to be a camera near the speaker box on the side of the gate. Kagome stuck her head out but before she could say anything the gate opened.

"Ok that was kinda creepy," Miroku muttered, Sango nodded her head. As they drove up the long winding road they passed hundreds of Sakura trees. `Inu Yasha wasn't kidding when he said his mother loved cherry blossoms."

When they got to the mansion everyone's' mouths dropped open. The mansion could fit all three of their houses four times over neatly inside, "I don't know about this…"

Sango pushed Kagome out the door. "Go we didn't drive eighty in a residential area for nothing." Kagome smiled. "Call us when you need a ride back no matter how late you leave."

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do, " Miroku yelled out the window. Kagome sweat dropped on her face, `what wouldn't Miroku do?'

They watched as she knocked on the door and a butler opened it immediately. " We have been waiting for your arrival Miss Higurashi." Kagome's face faulted then she turned around and waved to Miroku and Sango before they drove off.

She stepped inside and was amazed by how decorative the house was even though they just moved there. "Wow this is really amazing…"

"Hmmmm… Is it now." Kagome swung around and saw Sesshomaru leaning against a wall with his lips brushing against a champagne glass.

"Uh… Well I live in a shrine… So yeah… I think it is at least."

Sesshomaru smirked, "Your late…"

"I'm am doing this as a favor so you get what your paying for. Oh wait your not paying me… Wow I guess your not gonna get a lot." Kagome turned back around, "Where's Inu Yasha I want to get started so this won't take to long."

"Upstairs in his room. Do you want to go get him?"

"What the… Am I a maid also? You have a butler go send him to get him. Stop playing around."

"Wouldn't you feel better if we just studied in his room? It's more comfortable there…"

"Ok what is up with those hidden innuendos? Bring him down to study or library. I beat you have one of those."

"Your as funny as ever Kagome," He started heading up stairs to get Inu Yasha.

`Funny as ever? I just met them today? What a bunch of weirdos I am surrounded by.' Kagome shook her head and started looking around. She walked into a room and looked at a wall. Hanging from it was an old rusty sword that looked like it would break any second. `For some reason that looks so familiar. Why is that?' Kagome started walking towards it and was about to touch it.

"Do you like Tetsusaiga?" This time she turned to see Inu Yasha standing in the door way. She shook her head, "Come on let's get started. You guys don't even seem like you want to get tutored."

He let her pass and they headed towards the library. She settled herself in a seat at a round table set for three. Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru sat in the chair next to her. She looked at them skeptically and said, "What the hell? Where are the books I gave you?" They both laughed and got back up. Kagome put her head in her hands, "I can't believe this. I can tell this is gonna be a long night."
