Chapter 6: "I am so confused…"

Authors note. Yes my delayed chapters are finally going to start appearing again. I am sorry I took so long but the long wait will prove rewarding. ^_^

Kagome was sitting under a big tree in a grassy area. Something about the tree brought a calm to her. She felt like something or someone was protecting her. But she couldn't put her finger on it. She looked down at herself and noticed she was in her old school uniform.

"Don't fall into their trap…"

"Huh?! Whose there? Who said that?" Kagome stood up and spun around, her long hair floating around her like a halo. But she didn't see anyone. She turned back to the way she was facing before and came face to face with a beautiful man with black hair.

"Did I frighten you?"

"Well when you usually come up to someone like that it tends to startle people."

The man smirked, "It seems you have made a lot of new friends."

"You call those freaks friends!"

The man grabbed Kagome's hand and linked his fingers through hers. "But I want you to know that I am your one true friend and nothing anyone tells you is otherwise…"

Kagome blushed at his words and his hand.

"Haven't I been giving you advice and helping you in your times of need when no one else would? Only true friends would do that…"

"I know and I appreciate it so much. But something about them… Just seems so familiar… like I wanted to tell them they were lying when they were telling me things but I couldn't because some of the things rang true with me… I don't know why…"

"Well believe in the words I say if anything don't trust anyone of them… Do you know what they want?"

Kagome shook her head.

The man walked closer to Kagome and she backed up into the tree.

He smiled then leaned into her neck and placed small kisses on her neck. With the hand that wasn't linked to hers he drew it up her stomach and cupped her breasts. Kagome gasped at the contact as he started nipping her neck. He moved his body closer to Kagome's so that now their hips were aligned together.

He took his hand from hers and lifted her leg so that it was wrapped around her waist. Kagome just stood there letting the man do what he wanted as he ripped the front of her shirt and bra so that her chest was exposed to him. He looked into her eyes and smiled, then lowered his head and flicked his tongue over her nipple. With that little contact it shocked Kagome into awareness.

"What… what does…?"

"What does this have to do with what they want? Everything.

This is the thing they want most… You…"

Kagome sat up, "What the… Where the hell am I." Kagome wasn't in the field anymore. Instead she was in an elaborate room.

She was lying on a bed with satin sheets and pillows all around her. They were a vibrant red. For some reason that color reminded her of something. As if something told her to turn around she looked to where there was a magnificent closet and there was a red hakama hanging there. `That is what red reminds me of. That outfit… But where have I seen it before?" She got out of the bed and walked to it. She took the sleeve and put it between her two fingers rubbing it. The texture was slightly rough but for some reason it felt warm. As if it was giving off heat. Kagome frown at this and lifted the sleeve to her face.

She smelled the sleeve and a woodsy smell came to her. "Such a familiar scent. It relaxes me… as if I am protected by it."

She closed her eyes savoring the feeling that this scent alone could protect her. She felt enveloped in it as if arms were wrapping her in the scent. The scent seemed to get stronger and she smiled settling in the warmth. She wanted to stay like that forever, content in the feeling she was having but then she thought, `Wow this scent is really strong from just a sleeve… Is that possible?' She opened her eyes to look at the sleeve in her hand but then she realized it had slipped from her hand back to the rest of the outfit. `So wait how the hell…' She looked down at her body and there really were arms wrapped around her.

Her eye twitched as she turned her head to look behind her.

Sure enough there was Inu Yasha cheesing. Fangs and all.

Kagome sighed then took her elbow and jammed him in the stomach. Inu Yasha kneeled over clutching his stomach, and then she took her foot and stomped on his.

"Ahhhhhhh! What the fuck Kagome! Why are you being such a bitch? All I did was hug you. It wasn't like I was humping your leg or some crazy shit like that… But now that I think about it I might as well of did that for the beating you just gave me!"

"Oh shut up! You just scared me and that was the reaction I had. Usually when I see someone in a daze I don't run up to them and start groping on them."

"Didn't you just here me! I was only hugging you!"

"What the hell for!"

"…"

"Ugh you make me sick!" As she said that she remembered what happened earlier with the two little kids and then Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru transforming. She looked up at Inu Yasha and she noticed that as he was slowly seething still about her elbowing him, his fangs were showing between his lips and his ears were twitching on top of his head.

Inu Yasha looked up, as he smelled fear starting to radiate from her. Her eyes were huge as she stared at him. "Kagome… Are you all right? Your… not scared of me are you?" Kagome continued staring at him. "Ugh… Kagome?"

Kagome walked up to him and started rubbing on his ears. Inu Yasha's eyes narrowed and he sweat dropped on the side of his face. "Your ears are so fascinating… I betcha my mom would love your ears…"

"What is up with you, your mom, and my ears? You guy have this weird fetish with fluffy ears or something?"

Kagome gave him the crazy eyes, let go of his ears and started heading to the door. Inu Yasha grabbed at her hand and turned her back to him. "Please don't go. I've waited so long to see you. I am sorry about scaring you like I did. But I have been waiting so long and now that I have you I don't want to lose you." With that he dragged her up against his body and brushed his lips against hers before fully putting his mouth on hers.

Kagome sank into his arms feeling even more secure then ever. For some reason he mad her feel more alive then anyone had ever made her. She slowly started drawing her hands up his arms and she let him start moving his kisses from her mouth down her neck. But as he went down he lightly nipped her neck.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!"

"What the fuck! OH My bad, I'm sorry!"

Kagome ran towards the mirror in the room and looked at her neck. Even though he nipped her slightly she was still turning red on her neck as if she had a hickie. Kagome turned her head and glared at him. "How the hell am I going to explain this? When I got to school tomorrow people are going to be looking for anything that might give away the fact that might of did something with either one of you! Where's your damn phone!"

Inu Yasha's eyes were bulging out of his head as he point to the far end table. Kagome picked it up and dialed Sango's cell.

"Hey girlie! I was waiting for your call. You ready to be picked up. It is pretty late you know."

"Please hurry up and get me. Everyone is a bunch of freaks here."

"Wow it's that bad. Haha. Well whatever were not to far from there because we figured you would be calling soon. Give us ten minutes."

Kagome hung up the phone and walked out the door.

"Wait you can't just leave," Inu Yasha said starting to follow her. Kagome swung around and slamed the door into him so that the doorknob jabbed him in the stomach and he banged his nose into the door. He kneeled over muttering curse words as she ran down the stairs.

"Why does this seem so fucking familiar?"

As she said that a pair of arms wrapped around her waist, stopping her in her tracks.

"Kagome dear. I know you are not leaving. You are cutting your visit short."

Kagome turned her head and glared at Sesshomaru. "GET OFF OF ME…"

"Why would I want to do that?" Sesshomaru said as he drew his lips down her neck. He stuck his tongue out to lick the area that Inu Yasha had nipped her as than he brought out his fangs dragging them across then nipped again in the area making it redder.

Kagome sighed.

Then she wrapped her foot around his ankle and caught him by surprise so that he fell back into the banister. He looked at her with his eyes wide. Then she smiled and pushed him off the banister so that he fell on the other side onto the floor a couple of feet down. Kagome ran down the stairs and out the door. Sango and Miroku just pulled up and Kagome ran to the car opening up the passenger's door. When Kagome got in she screamed, "FLOOR IT!" Miroku looking startled did just that and they drove out the driveway.

Meanwhile…

Inu Yasha slowly walked down the steps clutching his stomach. "Why is she so violent," he muttered.

"I DON'T KNOW BUT WHEN I SEE HER IN SCHOOL TOMMORROW. SHE WILL GET HERS!!!!!"

Startled, Inu Yasha looked over the banister to see Sesshomaru sitting crossed legged on the floor seething with a tell tale red bump on his head.

"Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Don't tell me she pushed you off the stairs! I will never let you forget it!"

"If you want to forget about being kicked in the gonads by a girl you better forget about this."

"Damn… Ok you win."

"Wait til tomorrow. It's on…"

"Sesshomaru don't do anything crazy…" But Inu Yasha shut up when Sesshomaru gave him a beady eyed look then said, "Who said anything about crazy. That's almost implying that I am crazy. Is that what you saying Inu Yasha?"

"Ha ha ha… Of course not." Inu said shrugging his shoulders. "I am going to bed."

Meanwhile…

`I don't want to go to school tomorrow…" Kagome's eyes watered as she thought about what was going to happen. Sango looked at her through the mirror and smiled.

Bwahahahahahaha! It's the long awaited chapter six. What did you all think? Was it weird or does it seem like the story is getting somewhere? Well I guess we won't know until chapter seven. Later ^_^ Songie
