The darkness, the quite, the....softness of the dark was comforting. All Kagome wanted to do was stay here. Stay in the dark where she was and not go back to the real world. Stay here and never wake up. But, her mind was telling her that she rested enough and need to get up. She opened her eyes and her vision was really blurry. Everything was out of place and her head was spinning as if she was really drunk. When she got at least some of her vision back, she tried to sit up, but a very gruesome pain shot through the wound she had in her stomach and remembered how she got it. The arrow had pierced her really bad and she fainted on the spot. And...worst of all she feed. She actually feed on a living breathing soul. Something she vowed to never do again. Now that she was fed, she felt a little bit better and a little more alive than she did a while ago.
When she thought that, she got up real quick and felt the pain. But she ignored it and ran to the door. It was a hell of a big door, but that wouldn't stop her from trying to open it. Which she did a little later.
She looked down the hallways and saw nothing, nobody. She stepped out into the hallway and walked down the left way. While she walked, she looked at the pictures on the walls. So many, she thought, so many faces, many different faces. Her side ached, so her hand held her wound very tightly. She looked at the faces on the walls again. The faces of so many people that she never knew. Some were ugly, some pretty, then the just plain, ugh! She came to a halt when she saw someone standing there. Her eyes became more adaptable in the candle light and she saw a man standing there, drinking a glass of something, it looked burgendy.
She stepped closer to the guy and saw how he looked. He had long blue spiky hair, that had it's tips as green as the grass. She saw that he was wearing black robes with gold ropes. She couldn't see his face, but since she was getting closer to the man, she saw his skin which was a creamy cream brown color. When he turned her way he stopped short when he saw her. His eyes were a deep dark purple. They were filled with confusion then they were filled with amusement and laughter. He was also asian.
"Well HI! you must be the soulless!"
"Yeah...I guess I am..."
"Im Miroku!"
".....Kagome!"
"Ah...looks like you got a gaping whole in your stomach there!"
Miroku saw how she put her hand on the wound and held it there.
"Okay well...since your up...c'mon everyones waiting" he said walking away.
"Everyone? whoes that?"
"You'll see! C'mon"
When they were walking Kagome was confused. There were people waiting for her? Them? Then they walked through the double doors and then she remembered her something.
"Uhmmmm....Miroku!"
"Yes?"
"How long was I out?"
"mmmm"
"3, about 4 weeks!" Said a voice from the otherside of the room.
"Ah! Beatrice! My..kinky wome!"
"Shut up Miroku!"
"Awww...you've hurt my feelings!"
"Whatever"
"Uhmmm...."
"Yes let me introduce these beauties and men...of course you meet Beatrice, over here is Sango and you've meet Inuyasha, Rin, and Sesshomaru! Then there's me!"
"Uhm Okay!"
Kagome didn't know if she should be screaming and asking to be sent home or be calm, like she was now. But, she looked at the people who were supposed to be waiting for her. She looked at each of them closely. But, only the ones she didn't know and the ones she felt uncomfortable around with. Beatrice, the one that answered her question had blonde hair up to her shoulders. Her skin was pale but withenough of blush at the cheeks. Her white muscle shirt was tucked into blue denim jeans and her eyes were a golden amber with a hint of red around the rims.
Then there was Sango. She was like a shiney new penny or nickle. Her hair was a short black cap of hair, with a single hint of blonde streak in it. Those eyes of hers were a deep black. Almost as if there was nothing there, then it was gone to a deep hazel. She was wearing basketball short and a black shirt.
"Alright...so I was introduced...can I leave?"
"Unfortunetly no!" Miroku said.
Kagomes eyes widened.
"W-why?"
"Well you see..."
"Look soulless...your part of the group here"
"BEATRICE"
"She'll never get it! Look girlie...your the last! The soulless!"
"Like the prophecy said "7 ordinary beings will band together and destroy the evil that threatens the earth and bring it pieace. A Necromancer, Vampire, Demon, Lycanthrope, With or Warlock, an Angelus and a Soulless and destroy the evil that threatens the earth! And Together they make the 7!"
"What-what does that mean?"
"It means..."
