Chapter 12
Kagome was trying her best not to become agitated by the lack ness in getting dressed. She needed help tying the cruel garment, which unfortunately laced from behind. She had too much pride to ask for help, but she'd be dammed, if she were going back out to the pirate captain with only that towel on again. Tossing the corset aside, she looked at the black gown, but to her dismay, those laces also tied from behind.
Inuyasha sat in the chair patently waiting for her to get dressed when he heard her ranting and raving about not being able to tie the garments. He chuckled as he made his way to the bathroom door. He knocked on her door and waited for her to answer.
The knocking at her door stopped her from the silent curses she was giving herself for her stupidity of not asking for someone to help her current situation.
“Are you okay in there?” He requested still tapping on the door with his knuckle.
“Oh, this is wonderful! Damn him for his sensitive hearing,” she complained, “No, Inuyasha, I'm not okay. Could you please send Sango in here? I need my garments tied,” she explained quietly, she could feel her cheeks becoming red with embarrassment.
“Are you sure you don't want me to help you, my love?” He inquired with a perverted grin while trying to turn the knob on the door.
She could see the door slowly opening and screamed while quickly shutting the door in his face. A disappointed captain huffed and walked out of the room only to head towards Sango's room. He could hear and smell that Miroku was in the room with her. “Damn, this afternoon is not going as planned,” he growled hoping that his two friends would not end his life for daring to interrupt them.
Koga watched as his crew clean and repair his ship. He made sure that there was plenty of food aboard, then made his way downstairs to see his twelve glorious cannons ready for the attack. He also noticed that he had plenty of iron balls next to the deadly weapons. Nodding over at his gunmen with approval, he headed back out on the deck. Stepping into his quarters, he decided to coordinate the appropriate course to New Guinea. When he was done and pleased with his crew, he retreated outside and welcomed the warm ocean breeze. He watched the black flag with the infamous skeleton symbol that flowed freely in the wind. It bothered him to know that he needed to remove the flag and replace it temporarily.
“Take the Jolly Roger down, Men!” He ordered before turning and walking away.
Miroku and Sango were in a deep heated kiss when a knock on their door disrupted them. Miroku opened the door to find his captain. “What is it, Inuyasha?” Miroku responded calmly, but still showed an aggravated expression.
Inuyasha just looked at Miroku with apologies for interrupting their evening. “Sorry my friend, but I need to speak with Sango,” Inuyasha requested, looking over at Sango.
“ What is it, Sir?”
“Kagome needs your assistance, something to do with tying her laces,” he said shyly.
She looked over at Miroku giving him a smile and headed towards the other room to rescue her friend.
Kagome was pacing back and forth with frustration. “I wish I had something to wear, I'm getting so cold,” she mumbled, while raising her arms to cover her front.
“Kagome, it's me, Sango. May I enter?”
Kagome opened the door and grabbed Sango as quickly as she could incase of prying eyes were watching. “I'm so happy to see you, and I apologize for disrupting you,” Kagome confessed, lowering her head in shame and embarrassment.
“Its okay, Kagome, I understand.”
She smiled and picked up the black corset wrapping it around Kagome's midriff and tightly tied it. Kagome felt like she was suffocating. When Sango was finished, she helped place the dress over Kagome's shoulders as it slid down to her feet. Sango laced it up as well. “Okay, that should do it. Wow, that is a beautiful dress, where ever did you get it?” Sango inquired.
Kagome just looked at her and said, “The Captain.”
Sango returned to her room, only to find Inuyasha with a sulking look on his face. “She is ready, Sir.”
Looking up at her, “Thank you Sango, again my deepest apologies if I have disturbed anything,” he said while walking out of the room and closing the door behind him.
Sango turned her attention to Miroku, giving him a seductive grin, “Now, my love, where were we?”
Kagome was finishing her hair when Inuyasha returned. He felt his jaw hit the floor and was at a loss for words. Half her hair had been pulled back with a black lace ribbon away from her face, while the rest dangled onto her bare shoulders.
However, all Inuyasha could see between her black hair and her dress where her glowing sapphire eyes.
“So Inuyasha, what are we doing? And please close your mouth.”
“You look amazing, Kagome,” he finally replied. Walking over to her he pulled her hand into his and led her downstairs. Kagome was a little nervous at his sudden behavior and began to fidget with her dress. Making their way downstairs, all eyes where on her. She felt uncomfortable with all the stares but ignored them and continued to follow behind. When they made it outside there where two horses awaiting them. Two different saddles adorned their horses; one had a regular saddle while the other had a sidesaddle. Inuyasha picked up Kagome by her waist and hoisted her up to the sidesaddle. After she positioned herself over the horn, he helped her place her booted feet into the stirrups. Handing her the reins, he also mounted the other horse.
She glanced over at him, confusion heavy in her facial expressions, “Inuyasha, what in the world is going on?”
“You'll see in due time.”
Shippo waited patiently for his captain on the white sandy beach; he had a basket of prepared food, and a blanket covered over the soft sand. “What is taking them so long?” He speculated while pacing back and forth. The sound of horses stopped him from his constant pacing, “It's about time they arrived,” he snapped, with a small growl.
Kagome could smell and hear the ocean waves crashing onto the beach as they made their way through the dense forest of the tropical island. Inuyasha knew they were close; he stopped the horse and dismounted. In his hands was his red bandanna.
He approached Kagome, “Will you please take this and cover your eyes,” he pleaded
She looked at him with bewilderment; however, she complied, placed the garment over her eyes, and tied it in the back. She felt the reins leave her hands. Blindly she found the longhaired mane of the beast and latched her fingers, in his soft hair. Suddenly she could feel the horse move of its own accord. Inuyasha took over the reins and returned to his mount. He hoisted himself up tightly holding on to his vice. Pulling the other horse, they inched their way towards the beach.
When they finally made their way to the beach, he silently shooed Shippo away before giving him a thankful look. Shippo nodded and headed back towards the ship. Kagome could feel the horse stop and could hear footsteps approaching her. She felt a pair of strong arms carefully lift her out of the saddle and carried her a short distance, only to lay her on the blanket. She could feel his hands caressing her soft face and could feel the unwanted bandanna leaving her.
With a shocked expression, she gasped, “Oh Inuyasha, this is beautiful.”
Bringing her hands into his, he gently began to caress them, “I'm glad you like it, my love,” he said reassuringly. “Are you hungry?”
She nodded.
Opening the basket, he pulled out some fruits, bread, and an already cooked chicken. He opened a bottle of wine and poured them each a glass. Handing her the cup, she delicately sipped it. He watched her intensely while she seductively placed the goblet to her soft, sensual lips. When she placed the drink down, he replaced the goblet with his lips and kissed her rigorously.
She moaned in his mouth at the unexpected kiss and could feel her hands begin to wander through his massive silver hair, then upward towards his velvety ears that adorned the crown. She gently massaged them, as she had wanted to do for so long. He growled with pleasure under her caressing ministrations.
Disappointment filled him when she ended the heated kiss. Their eyes, however, still burned into each other's gaze, like fire itself, were upon them. She placed her fingers on her burning lips wanting to feel more. Her body trembled in the new sensation she had never experienced before. She then realized he was the man for her, his stubbornness and cockiness didn't bother her, she found it fascinating. He was a mysterious man with hidden desires, which only she could awaken. Even her fiancé never gave her such a feeling in her stomach as this captain did. Kissing him for the first time on the boat was nice, but this kiss was far more intense. She was giving him her very soul. She recalled just a couple of days ago she could not stand to be near him, although his harshness wore off slowly, he had proven his word.
Inuyasha looked at her with bewilderment, intensely watching her changing emotions and the slight twinkle in her eyes. He knew that Naraku would be able to smell his scent all over her, but did not care. No, tonight he would finally have his captive and his new found love. “Come, my love, let's not let this food go to waste,” he said, while recovering from the emotions that still plagued him.
