Then the line actually appeared. I smiled at him as he raised his hand to the blood. Then I changed the vision, I saw him clenching his chest around a bullet hole. Blood began to stream down his shirt. But that wasn't enough. I stood my eyes leaving his, and grabbed the gun sitting just a few feet away from me.

I aimed it at his head, jumped off the table and pushed it to his scalp. I looked him in the eyes. "Are you ready to die?"

I waited for a reply, broke eye contact, and then pulled the trigger. "BANG!" I knew the clip was empty but he flinched when I screamed. I laughed. "what's the matter scared to die? Again…"

I let the gun drop. "I don't want to kill. I just want to stop this war. They don't need to die." I turned to the door. "I guess it's your decision, just know I will be protecting my hanyou."

After I opened the door and started to walk out I heard Derth talk. "The war will stop. We will stop it now."

"No…" Naraku screamed.

"Silence him!" The sound of a blade being pulled sounded, and then I disappeared.

I returned to Inu only to find destruction. My heart pounded, sounding in my head. I closed my eyes against tears. "He'll be alright, he'll be alright…"

I ran a hand through my hair. The soft scent of blood chilled my bones. "No. He won't be. They never are." I opened my eyes and flew through the house only to find it empty. No bodies, just blood, mingled scents of Sango and Inu.

"He's just a hanyou, they'll kill him and spare her like nothing ever happened." I leaned against a wall, sliding down slowly. "Forgive me father for I have sinned. I have not prayed in days, have not confessed in years, and I won't go to the church now. I killed many, but father I only wish that you return my beloved unharmed. Please." My heart grew heavy when no answer came.

( AN:-----:::Giggles::: HI EVERYONE!! I know I said I wouldn't work on this story until I finished Relish in Your Life, but guess what? I LIED. The truth is it's really late at night and I'm writing to try and fall asleep. I guess I'll go back to the story now… :::Mwah::)

I clenched my teeth and stood again following the scent of Inuyasha. The path came to a halt at a warehouse I hadn't known was in the woods. Breathing filled my ears from the people inside. I jumped to the roof with out a sound. The roof windows let me see all. Inu was tied down a needle in his arm, and liquid keeping him sedated.

"Hanyou kidnappers? Interesting- must have been hired by the half wit." I whispered to myself. Two figures moved out of the shadows. One was Sango being pushed by the other, a man with long black hair. I had seen him before. "Miroku." I was hurt, my heart sunk again.

I couldn't kill him, Naraku must have known I wouldn't be able to. I slid the window open, hesitating to find which way the wind was blowing an where I needed to stand not to be smelled. By the end of this night the moon would be painted red.
