Blue eyes opened to see the sun shining brightly in her new bedroom. ~Ugggg i just wanted it all to be a dream!~ Hearing knocking at the door, Kagome quickly jumped up. "Hold on a second grandfather!." ~Sheesh i just woke up, he better not be trying to put me to work!~
"Kagome you slept past breakfast! There is a small diner about a mile from here. You should start walking before noon then you must help me with farm work!"
Running her hands through her long dark hair she sighed looking towards the clock. ~Its 10;30 how am i suppose to be back by 12 when i haven't even showered or dressed yet? Dose he not know girls take a while to get ready!~ Walking out of the room an to the bathroom, she started to get ready for her day.

"Yes Nie, I'm going to put her to work an make sure she learns to not take things for granted. Ok honey i love you by stay safe." Hanging up the phone the old man looked towards the steps at his granddaughter. "Why would you wear that to do farm work in?"
Kagome wore a white tank top that showed just enough skin in all the right places, along with a cute pink skirt an matching pink heels. "I'm going to town to get something to eat since you didn't wake me for breakfast!" Heading for the door she herd her grandfather talk.
"Kagome what money you have be ahwhere once its spent your going to be working on the farm for your money. So spend wisely my child."
Walking out Kagome laughed. ~Pshhhhh I'm great with money that old timer dose not know me to well.~
Walking over to the sofa, he quickly sat down an started to look through the news paper. ~I know it must have been hard on her when her father died...but she really takes her mother for granted! I plan on showing her the true meaning to life, she needs this!~

~Wow that fresh farm smell is nasty!~ Blue eyes skimmed the small surroundings around her. It was a old feeling little town with old buildings an really friendly people smiling at her. ~Sheesh don't these people have a mean bone in them?~ Not paying much attention she bumped into a raven haired girl. "Oh I'm sorry i didn't see you there."
Looking at the girl that just bumped into her she yelled. "Watch where your going bitch!"
~Scratch that not every one is so nice here.~ "Look i said i was sorry!" Kagome yelled right back towards the girl. Seeing the very same man that gave her a lift the other day running up the side walk she smiled.
Kikyo looked back at her boyfriend an sighed. "I guess its ok just watch where your going girl!" Inuyasha smiled towards kagome an spoke. "Hi Kagome, enjoying your first real day here?"
"How do you know this girl Inuyasha?" Kikyo frowned towards Kagome an waited for a awnser. "Well you know old man Higurashi on makon street?"
Kikyo beamed brightly. "Yes of course Inuyasha i work on his farm!"
Kagomes face pails. "Oh shit i have to work with you?"
Inuyasha looked around trying not to laugh. "Well i think you guys will really be great friends by the end of the summer!" Kikyo took Inuyashas hand an started to walk away from the girl now known as Kagome. "Inuyasha i don't like her she bumped me on purpose!"
Inuyasha sighed an held the girls waist as they walked towards the Higurashi farm. "Kikyo she is a really nice girl, she is from New York an new here just give her break ok!"
Kagome watched the two odd couple walk off an headed towards the diner. ~Wow i can all ready tell my summer will be grand here! So Inuyashas type of girl is mean with shoulder length black hair...hmmmm i like him to bad I'm going to have to brake that couple up with my time here.~ Smiling at the thought she sat down an started to look at the menu.
