A/N: WOW thanks for all the reviews, they really encouraged me. But I've been so bogged down with work lately that I haven't had time to update. I"M SOO SORRY! I hope you guys can forgive me. I'm also really surprised at some of the reviews, I'm touched that people appriciate this story because my first ones seemed to have gone down the drain. Anywho, here's the last part from last time, in case you guys forgot:
He moved in towards her and was about to lean in for another kiss when a fast moving object broke them apart. Confused Inu Yasha looked down at his feet to see what had ruined their moment. To his surprise he saw an arrow that was still shaking from its impact with the ground. As fast as he possibly could he looked up and saw a woman sitting in the tree above them. Horrified he realized that she had heard the whole thing.
"You keep your promises, feh," she said with such an amount of anger that one would not think it was possible to possess. She spat at his feet as she notched her bow, "LIAR!" she screamed as she released an arrow aimed directly at a stunned Inu Yasha.
Duh duh duh.....

Kagome jumped in front of Inu Yasha in an attempt to protect his body. Unfortunetly she was so skinny that the arrow peirced the hearts of both her and Inu Yasha. The figure jumped down from the tree with an evil smile spread across her face.
"Kaede?" Kagome questioned.
"Ay it was I. I have loved you for many years Inu Yasha yet you chose my own sister over me. I allowed that to pass but this I will never allow. So I will take your life along with the life of your beloved, " Kaede screamed at the dying man by her feet,
Inu Yasha used the last of his strength to say, "Kaede you know I've always loved you. I just thought you were out of my reach so I settled for Kagome. I'm sorry, my love." Then he died and a depressed Kagome soon foloowed him. Satisfied Kaede shot a signal from her miko powers into the sky and awaited for an answer. A few minutes later Sesshomaru appeared. He picked Kaede up bridal style and they traveled together to his castle to live happily ever after.
JUST KIDDING!!!!!
A/N: Sorry guys I couldn't resist. It was just that some of the questions I got were SO funny. People said for Inu not to die, for Kag not to die, that they had no idea who was is the tree etc. And I felt the need to trick them. I'm sorry please forgive me! *Bows* Okay now on with the REAL chapter

"You keep your promises, feh," she said with such an amount of anger that one would not think it was possible to possess. She spat at his feet as she notched her bow, "LIAR!" she screamed as she released an arrow aimed directly at a stunned Inu Yasha.
Realizing that Inu Yasha couldn't move, Kagome, with a suprisingly fast pace, notched her arrow. She closed her eyes and released it, attempting to will it to go where her heart wanted it to. Inu Yasha watched in amazment as Kagome's arrow came in at a 90 degree angle and took the other arrow with it. It was attached to a tree. But the even more stupifing part was that the arrow was glowing with Kagome's white aura along witha new light blue arrow weaved along the outside. Confused Inu Yasha turned to stare at Kagome.
Her hair whipped around and her eyes were narrow as she stared at the figure in the tree. "Reveal yourself immediately Kikyo. I'm in no mood for games!"
Laughter came from the tree and Kikyo gracefully jumped down and landed on the ground. "It seems your courage has increased girl. Too bad you had to change yoursefl to do it. I would never have changed myself. Now, after what you have done, even Inu Yasha can't love you. You tricked him and lied. Just like he lied to me. He promised to die with me, and that's just what he'll do. I won't allow you to decieve him into a becoming a liar." With that stated Kikyo grasped her hands together. Her index fingers were pointed straight up and the rest of fingers were curled around each other. She closed her eyes and a purple aura filled the area. She constricted all of her aura and shot it directly at Inu Yasha.
Kagome had never seen such a thing before and she was confused. Inu Yasha on the other hand was used to Kikyo's anticts. He had just been earlier surprised. He drew tetsusaiga and deflected Kikyo's shot.
"Why do you side with this child!?! Inu Yasha, you said you would keep your promise."
Inu Yasha set tetsusaiga on the ground and approached Kikyo. "Yes, I did." Kagome looked away with a terrible hurt in her eyes. Inu Yasha took notice but perservered anyway. "But I made that promise to a beautiful girl that I loved long ago. I told this girl that I would be with her for eternity. I'm sorry Kiyko but I can no longer keep that promise, because you are no longer the woman that held my heart. As much as we shared together is still nothing in comparison to what I feel for Kagome. Please take my deepest apologies and move on. Continue forth to your next life and await me there. Return Kagome's soul to her body. Please, " Inu Yasha hung his head and awaited Kikyo's answer.
"I will allow you this much Inu Yasha. But be sure that you will not be happy in the future. There is one who remains alive with your death being his ultimate goal. He lies in wait, for the oportune moment. After you have passed you will join me and realize that this decietful girl is not the one you want. I know you want and need me, and I intend to prove it soon. I will return her soul, but I will not pass forth onto the next world. We still have dealings I must take care of."
Kikyo looked up towards the sky and a strange white aura drained itself from her and flowed into Kagome's body. Kagome's breath hitched in in pain and once the process was complete she fell to the floor exhausted. Inu Yasha rushed to her side as she said, "I thank you Kiyko, I look forward to our future battles. Perphaps Kami will rescue you and you will become that woman you once were again."
Questioning the words spilling from Kagome's mouth, Inu Yasha looked up to see a new and transformed Kikyo.
