Hello. Me again. This is when you run away screaming for your life. BTW. Fluff is ahead. Divert attention if you're allergic.

Disclaimer: I know I don't own him. But if R.T. wants him back she'll have to get him out of the duck tape I put him in for arguing with me.

~ripping sound~

Inuyasha: If you value your life…run.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! He got free!

Kirara had the same nightmare of the staff. Only she was wondering through Kai-sama's halls. And this time, the staff wasn't implanted in the ground there was an actual figure holding it.

Kirara jumped up and hissed again with her fur standing on end. Sesshomaru was watching her.

"Something wrong," he asked.

Kirara calmed down a bit. Times like this is when she wanted Inuyasha around. Sesshomaru sat up.

"Transform to your human form and get back in the bed," he commanded.

Kirara transformed and sat shyly next to Sesshomaru.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

Kirara found her hands in her lap interesting. Sesshomaru pulled her back into the bed and covered them both. His arms were around her waist and he had placed her head on his chest. Kirara breathed deeply. Okay so he wasn't Inuyasha, but who's complaining. This was just as good if not better.

"Just a nightmare," Kirara said.

"I doubt a mere nightmare could make you act like that," Sesshomaru said, "Tell me about it."

Kirara sighed, "Well, before tonight's I would have dreams of walking in the forest. It's dark and I'm all alone. To add on to things I can't hear a thing. No birds, no crickets, nothing. I hear a voice and I try to find the person who said it, I can't. I hear something and when I turn around there's a staff there. I feel threatened for some reason and before I wake up the last thing I hear is `mine'. Tonight was slightly different. I was wondering the halls of this castle. Darkness, lack of sounds, and loneliness are the same. As is the voice but this time I see a shadowed figure holding the staff."

Sesshomaru held her closer, "Reoccurring?"

Kirara nodded and snuggled into his embrace strangely feeling safer with each inch that was missing from between their bodies. Sesshomaru nuzzled the top of her head and stroked her diamond marking on her forehead.

"I'm here now. Sleep," Sesshomaru said and closed his eyes again.

Sesshomaru waited for Kirara's breathing to even out, indicating that she fell asleep before he actually let it claim him.

The next day was hectic. Everyone was running everywhere and some of the lesser lords were challenging others or Graiger. Kjell remained by Kirara all day since after breakfast, insisting she linked her arm with his. Sesshomaru had gone with the other lords to straighten things out and the ladies went who knows were. All the children were left outside with the lesser lords. And hell was breaking loose.

"Ha! You call yourself a warrior. My grandmother can fight better than you!" someone yelled.

Their response would be a growl and, "Oh yeah! Well then let's fight! I'll show you a warrior."

And others like that. Graiger had five different duels for the day. Kirara sat next to Kjell, Helena, Christie, and Kali. Graiger began his first fight. It was with a badger demon. Kirara looked around idly and spotted one lesser lord she'd thought she'd never see.

"Koga?" she said as he passed her.

He paused and looked at her giving a quick sniff, "Do I know you?"

Kirara smiled, "I'm the fire neko that travels with Kagome and Inuyasha."

"Kagome? Wait. What happened to you?!" Koga said.

"My heat stage a month ago," Kirara said.

"That's what happened. Hey is Kagome here?" Koga asked.

"No. Gomen. She's still collecting shards with Inuyasha. I'm here with Sesshomaru-sama," Kirara said.

"Lord of the Western Lands? You know that bastard," Koga said.

Kirara frowned at his choice of words. Luckily nobody heard. They were busy with the fight.

"He's not like that. And yeah I know him to some extent. He's about as friendly with Inuyasha as you are. So he doesn't really stop by much or stay long," Kirara said.

"Tell me about. How you, Kagome and the other three can stand it is beyond me," Koga said, "Look. I have to go. I have to see Kai."

Kirara smiled as Koga gave her a cocky grin and a quick wave of his hand. Kirara felt someone nudge her and she turned to face Kjell.

"You know him?" Kjell asked.

Kirara nodded, "He's after one of my friends for a mate."

"You sure do know a lot of canines," Kjell said.

Kirara giggled, "You don't know the half of it."

Kjell smiled. Everyone cheered around them as Graiger won his first duel. Kirara politely clapped along. Everyone calmed down a bit after seeing a fight. Apparently all they needed was a good fight. Helena and Christie became fixated on Kirara.

"Hey, Kirara," Helena started. (A/N Helena will always be in red and Christie white. That's how Kirara will know.)

"Yeah?" Kirara asked.

"Last night you said you were a fire neko right?" Christie asked.

"Hai. I did," Kirara, said unsure of were this was going.

"What color? The cream on black or black on cream?" Helena asked.

Kirara wondered if they always took turns when speaking, "I'm a black on cream."

"Neat! Can we see? Those are the rarest," Christie asked.

Both gave Kirara pleading looks. Kjell smiled.

"Please do Kirara. I would love to see a fire neko for myself," Kjell said.

Kali, who had remained quiet the whole time, joined in, "Yes, Kirara. It's not everyday we get to see a fire neko."

Kirara smiled and stood up, walking to the front of them. A few lesser lords paused and watched. Kirara smiled as the flames engulfed her. Kjell had panic written all over his face. He calmed when the flames disappeared and chibi-Kirara stood before him.

"Meow!" Kirara said.

Helena and Christie both shrieked, "Kawaii!"

Kjell thought a moment, "You don't look like the fire nekos my father told me about."

Kirara nodded her head and the flames engulfed her again. This time when the disappeared, battle form Kirara stood before them and gave a roar. Helena and Christie hid behind Kjell. Kjell's mouth was open in awe. Kirara jumped in the air and allowed her flames to surface and keep her suspended. Helena and Christie peeked around Kjell and became awed as well. Kali looked about the same. Kirara ran around a while before landing and transforming back to her humanoid form.

"That was…amazing," Kjell said in awe still.

Kirara blushed, "Arigatou. Kjell-san."

"Indeed. Amazing. And I'm glad I could witness it."

The children looked to see the lords heading for them. Kai led the way of the small group. Kirara bowed.

"Arigatou, Kai-sama," she said.

"I must thank you for showing us. I'm more impressed to know you're the one of the rarest forms of a fire neko. I, myself, am quite fascinated with the black on cream color ones," Kai said, "I'm amused as to how easily everyone was awed. Normally I need to blow something up to get the children to smile."

Kirara smiled, "What's more amusing was Kjell-san's face when my flames erupted."

Kjell lost his composure for a moment before straightening out.

"I must agree. I didn't think that look could be made by my son," Kai said.

Kirara smiled. She noticed Sesshomaru moved closer to her. Actually when it came to Kai or Kjell, he became rather possessive. Did he hate the fact that they noticed her because she was a fire neko? Kirara noticed the ladies were coming up. Today, the males wore the same types of kimonos as before but the females' resembled that of Kagura's. Kirara, however, was still an odd ball. She had given up her black outfit with the flame patterns for something that greatly resembled a sheet. It was a black, thin dress, of sorts. It wrapped around her so that both sides had no connecting areas, it parted down between her breasts and came together at her waist were it looked like it made one piece of cloth. There were two lengths, one in front and one in back. Connecting the sides together were three gold-looking chains at Kirara's hips on each side and two of the same chains under her arms around the area her breasts were at. That could be one reason Sesshomaru was possessive. She was practically naked. She couldn't help it. She was born that way. That's why she preferred her normal form. She didn't have to worry about clothes. `Clothes are evil anyway,' Kirara thought. Well, it's what she thought. Kirara also had her hair tied back like Sango's when Sango wasn't in her taijya clothing and fighting. Just something loose.

Kirara noticed Sesshomaru gave her a look that said You-are-so-dead-when-I-get-you-alone. Her own said Aw-come-on-I'm-too-cute-to-hate. Sesshomaru snorted. Kirara smiled warmly at him. Then she bowed at the ladies that had reached them.

"We heard Kirara transformed. I'm hurt nobody came to get us," Kyra said.

"The other lords and myself just barely saw it," Kai retorted.

"Helena-san and Christie-san had asked that I transform for them. Kjell-san and Kali-san joined in. I couldn't refuse," Kirara said.

Graiger came up, having seen Kirara from afar.

"Well could you do it again?" Kyra asked hopefully.

Kirara repeated the same steps as before. Now earning a Kawaii from all females and another hiding contest from Helena, who was behind Graiger, and Christie, who was behind Kjell.
