Pari: Yeah?

Devil: Would you like chocolate?

Pari: YEAH!

Devil: I'll give it to you if you say Inuyasha's yours.

Pari: I don't know…

Devil: No body will get mad.

Pari: Okay! I own Inuyasha!

**rumbling** **angry crowd chases Pari** **'The devil made me do it's' and `he promised me chocolate's' can be heard in background**

Inuyasha: **hands devil lots of money** Thanks.

Devil: No problem. Don't be afraid to call me the next time you want to torture her.

Inuyasha: Yeah, whatever. **starts pondering new ways to torture Pari** Let's see…

Kirara clung to Sesshomaru like a lifeline. He unconsciously began to rock her and growl lowly like a purr. Kagome clung to Inuyasha and Shippo clung to her, Koga stayed next to Kagome, Kai stood next to Sesshomaru, and Sango stayed between Sesshomaru and Miroku.

"Does any body know where to start?" Shippo asked.

"We could try the room Kirara was attacked in," Koga said.

Sesshomaru felt Kirara flinch. He hugged her a little tighter.

"Let's go," he said.

The group made their way down the halls towards Kirara and Sesshomaru's old room. Kai was the first to enter and Koga the last. Inuyasha sniffed a bit then covered his nose.

"When was the last time you two were in here?" he asked Sesshomaru and Kirara.

Sesshomaru sniffed. Apparently his and Kirara's last mating scent hadn't completely left the room. Sesshomaru snorted. He glared at his little brother who started mumbling incoherent curses under his breath. Though Sesshomaru did here something about him having to keep his hands off Kirara. Inuyasha sniffed around a bit with Koga but found nothing.

"I can't smell a damn thing," Inuyasha said. He turned to Sesshomaru, "So how'd he get in?"

"I'm not sure. But he got through my barrier without alerting me and scared Kirara half-to-death," Sesshomaru said.

"Well nothing's here. No other scent indicating someone other than you and Kirara were in this room," Inuyasha said.

"I guess we should go then," Kagome said.

The group exited the room. They passed through a force of energy.

"Inuyasha? What was that?" Kagome asked.

No response. She looked around. No body was with her.

"Inuyasha!" she yelled.

Sango was in another part of the castle. She too was alone.

"Houshi. Kagome. Kirara," she called.

Miroku finds himself in the same predicament.

"Sango! Kagome! Inuyasha!"

With Inuyasha…

"Kagome! Kirara! Sesshomaru!"

With Koga…

"Kagome! Mutt-face!"

With Shippo…

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Kagome!!!!!"

Kai idly looked around his dungeon. `So this thing wants me out of the way,' he thought as he tested the barrier keeping him in.

Sesshomaru in the meantime was sniffing for Kirara, who had mysteriously disappeared from his arms. `When I get my hands on the Kami I'll kill him slowly,' he thought.

And with Kirara, she finds herself in a master bedroom, most likely Kai's. She looks around at everything. Just a moment ago she could've sworn she was safely tucked in Sesshomaru's arms…now. Kirara freezes as she feels the presence again.

"Kirara…" came the whispered voice.

Kirara slowly turned around.

The separated group all hear Kirara's defining shriek of terror. Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, and Sango all become worried for Kirara while Sesshomaru gets furious. They all start running to find a way out of the maze they had been put in.

`They'll never reach her in time,' Kuroi thinks laughing in his head.

Inuyasha: You're ending it there?!!!!!

Pari: Hey. As soon as I type it there will be another chapter today. I own it to the readers for not updating for so long.

Inuyasha: I'll say.

Pari: BTW, Inuyasha. I found out you're the one who set me up by using the devil.

Inuyasha: Feh. So?

Pari: **smiles evilly** **throws another rosary bead around his neck only a blue one** DOWN, BOY!

Inuyasha: **hits ground** **mutters curses**

Pari: **dusts hands off and leaves**
