Kirara stared wide eye and pupil-less at the staff in front of her. The ruby glowed brightly. She could hear different things running through her head but what she mainly focused on was, `Kuroi, my mate, my master'.

"Kirara? Who am I?" Kuroi asked.

"Kuroi…my mate…my master," Kirara said transfixed.

Kuroi came next to her and petted her head.

"Good girl. I'll let you free of this spell when I think you have grown to love and worship me like you should," Kuroi said.

Kirara didn't say anything or move. Kuroi's hands began to wander her body. He delighted in the feel of her curves.

"Yes," he purred, "You may not be in heat but I think we should complete our bond now."

Kuroi led Kirara to the bed and laid her down. He peeled away her `sheet' that she had yet to change out of. Kirara looked at the ceiling. Kuroi nuzzled behind her ear.

"Live," he whispered.

Kirara's pupils returned to her eyes and she moaned under his touch. She felt something was out of place. But it couldn't be right? This was her mate-to-be. Everything was perfectly fine. Kirara arched into his skilled hands as his massaged her breasts. Kirara felt something building, but not her pleasure. She didn't know how, but she was sure she knew what pleasure felt like. If fact, she didn't remember much. Only her name and that Kuroi was her mate. He was her master. So what was building? Kirara and Kuroi both got the answer when Kirara's demonic powers shot up in flames and attacked Kuroi. Kirara looked on with wide eyes. Kuroi retreated from her body but otherwise acted as if a mosquito bit him.

"Your powers still protect you, I see," Kuroi said.

"Master?" Kirara asked not quite sure what was going on.

Kuroi frowned, "Another time maybe. But for now, sleeping the living death."

Kirara's pupils faded out again as Kuroi took control again. Kirara stood and dressed.

"We'll destroy your friends. Then I'll complete our bond. I won't be denied you," Kuroi said.

"Yes, master," Kirara answered.

Sesshomaru growled. He was pissed. He looked at a painting on the wall. `Now I know I've passed that same damn painting three times now,' he thought. Something began to rumble. Sesshomaru jumped back as the wall next to him and the painting were blown out. Inuyasha jumped through the hole with Tetsusaiga in hand and panting.

"It's about fucking time I got out of there!" he yelled.

"Going in circles as well?"

Inuyasha looked over at Sesshomaru.

"Damn it. Of all the people I had to run into it had to be you, didn't it?" Inuyasha bit out.

"You didn't answer me," Sesshomaru frowned.

"Yeah. What's it to you…hey. Didn't you have Kirara? Where is she? Did you lose her you bastard?" Inuyasha growled.

"She disappeared from my grasp. Where's your miko?" Sesshomaru countered.

Inuyasha faltered. Sesshomaru had a smug look on his face.

"Feh. I wasn't holding her when she `disappeared' from me."

"Never-the-less little brother. It seems your mind has finally began to work. We'll have to blast our way through the walls to find Kirara."

Inuyasha slung Tetsusaiga over his shoulder and faced the wall across from his previous hole.

"So? Start blasting. Tetsusaiga!"

Kagome paused when crashing moved the floor under her. She screamed when the wall behind her was blown away.

"Kagome?"

Kagome turned around and looked at Inuyasha. She threw herself at him.

"Thank Kami it's you. I was so worried," Kagome said.

"You could let the hanyou go now so we can continue," Sesshomaru said.

Miroku, Sango, and Shippo all came up from behind him.

"Kagome!" Shippo cheered.

"Shippo!" Kagome said as Shippo jumped into her arms.

Sesshomaru snorted, "We have found all of your…friends, yet Kai and Kirara have yet to be seen."

Laughing caused the group to shift into alertness.

"If you want Kirara so bad," Kuroi said coming out of the darkness, "Go to the dungeon."

"You're lying!" Inuyasha yelled.

"No I'm not," Kuroi said.

"Why so easy?" Sesshomaru asked.

Kuroi chuckled, "Who said it'll be easy. I've transformed this castle into a maze and this blasting your way through the walls won't help you."

Kuroi disappeared laughing.
