I know it has been so long since I've updated but unfortunately a lot of things have been going on in my life that had prevented me from doing so. But now I have time and I will seriously try to get this fic going again. Again I beg for forgiveness.

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha looked at each other and nodded. They were getting Kirara back one-way or the other. Sesshomaru stalked off and Inuyasha turned to the others.

"C'mon guys. We're getting Kirara back," Inuyasha said and followed after his brother.

Kagome, Sango, Shippo, and Miroku all nodded and ran after them to their destination. The dungeon…and Kirara. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha lead the way sniffing their way thru the maze. But still the Inu-tachi weren't having much luck.

Kuroi smirked as he followed them with his mind's eye. Did they really think he would let them have her so easily? He looked over at the mindless form of his mate. His Kirara. Kai stood to the side, chained in his own dungeon, glaring at Kuroi.

"Please excuse the accommodations. I was planning on a torture chamber but it seems you didn't have one in use," Kuroi said approaching Kai, "Now I guess I'll have to be bored."

"What is it you want, Kami?" Kai asked standing his ground.

"Merely a mate. I have the needs for an heir and a mate as do your race," Kuroi said.

"Why Kirara? Surely there must be another," Kai said.

Kuroi looked over the shell of Kirara, "True. There are two others that exist," he said then looked back to Kai, "But as for why I have not claimed them instead. One died fifty years ago and now walks this Earth, as a body of clay (A/N Yes he means Kikyo) and the other is the miko your friend Sesshomaru's brother hangs around with (A/N Yes he means Kagome now). The previous cannot have children and the recent is too mortal and weak for my likings. Kirara, however, bares nearly the strength of Sesshomaru, the greatest Taiyoukai to ever live. She is perfect."

Kirara remained staring forwards in a blank stare. Kuroi walked up to her and stood in front of her. Kai watched him.

"What will you do when her friends come for her?" Kai asked.

Kuroi smirked and stroked Kirara's cheek to which he got no response.

"I'll have her kill them all," Kuroi said.

Sesshomaru paused and stared at a particular painting, "I have the feeling that once again we are going around in circles."

Everyone stopped behind him. Inuyasha growled and pulled out Tetsusaiga. He moved in front of Sesshomaru.

"Fine then. We'll blast are way out!" Inuyasha said and raised Tetsusaiga over his head. "Tetsu-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Inuyasha stopped running at the wall when Koga appeared in his line of fire.

"Koga?" Kagome said and looked around, "Oh no. We had forgotten about him!"

Koga growled at Inuyasha.

"Baka!" he yelled and hit Inuyasha over the head, "What are you trying to do? Kill me?"

Inuyasha looked at Koga a bit angry, "If you really want to die just stand in front of the wall."

Koga was about to retort when Sesshomaru butted in.

"It matters not. Kuroi already expressed that we couldn't blast our way thru anymore. We'll have to find another way to the dungeon," Sesshomaru said.

"Dungeon? Why are you going there?" Koga asked.

"Kirara's there," Inuyasha said sheathing his sword.

"Really. I passed by the dungeon a while ago," Koga said scratching his chin thoughtfully.

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru glared at him.

"You will take us to it then," Sesshomaru said.

"Move it!" Inuyasha yelled and shoved Koga the way he had come.

"Alright! Don't push me mutt-face!" Koga said and headed the way he came.

"I'm supposed to trust Kirara's safety with these three?" Sango asked following.

"Yup," Kagome said following.

Miroku and Shippo just shook their heads and followed after the girls.

Kuroi stared idly at the dungeon entrance. Kai stared at Kirara who still was a mere shell.

"They come," Kuroi said.

Kai looked over expectantly. Sure enough, Koga, followed by Inuyasha and Sesshomaru entered. The Kagome, Sango, Shippo, and Miroku entered the large prison chamber. Kai smiled at Sesshomaru.

"Took you long enough," he said.

"I was delayed, that is all," Sesshomaru said. He glanced at Kirara then looked to Kuroi, "Kirara. Come here."

Nothing happened. Everyone looked at her as Kuroi laughed.

"Kirara will respond to nobody but me. I control her mind," Kuroi said holding up his staff.

Inuyasha growled and unsheathed Tetsusaiga, the fang forming at it's release, "Damn you! Release her or die!"

Kuroi chuckled, "To get me you'd have to get thru Kirara," he said causing everyone but Sesshomaru and Kai to gasp.

"What?" Sango asked.

Kuroi chuckled again, "Kirara…rid us of them."

Kirara's eyes turned into the crimson stare of her true form and she roared at them violently. Everyone stood muscles tense as she ran at them, claws bare.
