Disclaimer: Once again I do NOT own inuyasha (only Lana!) Once again this story has been re-written from the one posted on ff.net. I will post this one on the ff.net site soon. Lana is part demon and part miko(also human): I guess you could say she's half demon. she can become either when ever she wants.

 

 

Description of her human appearance: long, straight black hair( in a side part), brown eyes, she has on a jean mini skirt and a light blue shirt and the white and blue & white high top sneakers.

Her demon appearance: even longer black hair( still side parted) that is now wavy and reddish, her eyes are ice grey with long eyelashes and she has fangs and claws.(and pointed ears)

 

Chapter 2: A New Breed

 

 

In all of his decades of existence, no female had struck him. Granted though, none had even been bold enough to even raise their voice to him in fear that they would not live to breath their next breathe. Was he angry? No. Sesshomaru was outright pissed. This woman, this half breed, as she so clearly was, obviously did not possess the same fear as any other female in his presence would have. Well, he would be more than pleased to teach her just why he was called the aristocratic assassin.

 

 

Golden eyes narrowed at the being before him. Another half-breed to dispose of. Unlike his half-brother, however, this one seemed to have the ability to alternate her human side with her demonic side. Before she had appeared to be an ordinary human, but now her scent was like that of a full-blooded demon. An impressive feat, he'd give her that. He had never heard nor witnessed a hanyou with such a power. It seemed that a new breed had been born. He smirked inwardly. Who better than he to test the limits of this abomination? “It seems that your kind all have the common trait of impudence towards those who are superior to you, half-breed. You foolish actions tell this Sesshomaru that you desire death today.”

 

"I don't give a damn who you are and I think that the only one being rude here is you," yelled a demon transformed Lana. "You came here calling people weak and I just want to know who the hell you were talking to!"

 

In a second Sesshomaru was behind Lana ready to grab her by her throat. However, just as fast as he had gotten behind her she had stepped to the side a little and grabbed his arm and flipped him over her. The next thing Sesshomaru knew, she had straddled him beneath her.

 

 

"I command you to raise off of me bitch!” Sesshomaru hissed at her. He underestimated strength. The wench had some skill. Troublesome hanyou.

 

Lana's brow twitched at his remark. "What did you call me? I'm gonna-"

 

 

"Oh Lady Kagome you have returned! I was just viewing this display," said Miroku who made himself quite comfortable on a rock, unnoticed. 'And that fine ass, that girl has; I wonder if she would consider -nah- not with an attitude like that.' Miroku reminded himself that she would be far more than he could handle.

 

"Hey Miroku, have you seen a girl come out of the well?" asked Kagome as she walked into the clearing where the well was.

 

"Hmm, oh you must mean the beautiful woman on top of Sesshomaru", answered Miroku. “I wish I was Sesshomaru right now. What a lucky guy,” he sighed.

 

Kagome stared at him as if he had grown two heads. "What are you talking about Miroku? Why in the world would my cousin be on top of- ? Kagome stopped as she looked towards exactly what her monk friend had been speaking of. “Oh my God!”

 

“Kagome!" yelled Inuyasha. He had smelled her scent as soon as she had come back and had run straight to the well. "We have to be on guard, I smell Sesshomaru close- what the hell!"

 

Hearing all the conversations going on around her Lana looked up. "Kagome-chan!" she shouted happily. "It's so good to see you again!"

 

"What? Lana is that really you?", Kagome asked, very confused.

 

“Oops! My bad,” Lana said half embarrassed. Suddenly, Lana transformed back into her human form. Everyone was taken by surprise, ignoring the fact that there was a pissed off youkai beneath her growling.

 

"Wow! It's been so long since I've seen you, I never knew you could do that. Are you a half-demon?” Kagome laughed and ran to give her cousin a hug. Lana got up off of Sesshomaru and gave Kagome a hug.

 

“Yeah, I guess the secret is out.” The sound of growling was brought to her attention and Lana turned around to see the demon lord standing, claws flexing and bored fangs. `Well he looks upset.'

 

Sesshomaru had about enough of all this. She had him completely immobilized beneath her. Not because she was stronger than him, no. Looking into those ice grey eyes made him hesitate in his counter attack. It was something, he didn't know what, but he had felt something. He didn't like it. “Wench,” he smirked when she growled. “It appears that I have underestimated your strength. This is far from over. You will pay.” He turned to make his leave, pausing to look over his shoulder at her. “You would do well to watch your back.” Then he was gone.

 

Silence followed his departure, until Inuyasha spoke up. “Err…what the hell is going on? Kagome…who is this?” But before Kagome could answer him, she was cut off by Miroku.

 

 

"So pretty lady, would you bare my child?" he said with his signature smirk.

 

 

"...!"

 

 

"Ungh!"

Seshomaru was on his way to his castle. He couldn't get over that girl. What was more, she had made it appear that she had dominated him, the Lord of the Western Lands, in a small duel that not even his half demon brother could get the best of him in.
