Chapter 15

A Clean Start

 

 

The Inu-Gang woke up to the sound of wood chopping in the morning. They also noticed The Angel wasn't at breakfast. But Miroku, wanted to ask Master Mushi a question he wanted to know the answer to since they got here. “Master Mushi, why do you call that woman m'lady?” He asked at breakfast. “Well that's simple Miroku my boy, it's only to be said to give respect to the Lady of the Southern Lands.” Master Mushi told then firmly. Everyone was speechless. “Shes the Lady of the Southern Lands….who's the lord?” Shippo questioned. “There is no lord; my Auntie is perfectly capable of running the lands by herself. She gives equality to all her subjects and can fight better than 1,000 men put together.” Katera said, speaking for the first time that morning. But as usual, Inuyasha had something to say about that comment. “That I seriously doubt, no woman can fight that good no matter how much they train.” He said rudely. Sango's eye was twitching furiously and Miroku was trying to calm her down. “Uncle Yasha…..soooo ignorant.” Katera said hopelessly. “What is that supposed to mean!?!?” Inuyasha yelled at her. Katera stood, “Follow me Uncle Yasha.” She said while walking away. As they approached where the chopping sound was becoming louder. “Now everyone be quiet, don't talk and if you must talk, whisper.” She said soundlessly. They watched what was before them. There stood the angel, sword in hand, almost or maybe bigger than Testsiga. They watched her wield it with ease. “HOLY DETERIMENT!!” She shouted as she brought the blade down to the earth. A purplish light came out of her sword and in a flash all the trees that were where she aimed were gone with nothing left. “Whoa,” Shippo whispered. “What kind of attack was that?” he continued. “It was I special move only my Auntie can do, she combines her priestess and demonic powers and then purifies what every shes aiming at.” Katera answered quietly. They continued to watch her do different kinds of techniques with the sword before sheathing it. Then she walked over to where she purified the trees and said out loud.

After she said these words the whole lot shot up and trees grew back without hesitating! All of the trees she destroyed came back even bigger and better. “How did she do that?” Sango asked amazed. “It was a simple reincarnate spell.” The angel told them while turning around. Everybody froze. “It's ok, I know you have been there for a while, you can come out now.” She told them. Everyone stepped out with guilty looks on their faces, but Katera's stood out above all. “Katera, you should know better.” The angel told her. “You know that unless someone else is training with me I don't like other people around me when I train.” She said sternly. “I'm sorry Auntie, I know the rules it's just….” “My Lady it was our fault really it was, our friend Inuyasha here said something about girls not being able to fight.” Miroku told her. “Miroku you idiot why would you say something like that!” Inuyasha said while nudging him. “Oh, really,” She said. “Well then Inuyasha, you want to see if you can beat me in a good old fashion spar?” She asked. “Keh, I'm not into fighting little princesses that try to play with swords.” He retorted. “Oh, really, are you saying that cause your scared or is it because that you don't want your stubborn pride to be hurt?” She questioned. “WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!?!?!” He screamed. “YOU HEARD ME!! NOW ARE YOU JUST GONNA SCREAM AT ME OR ARE YOU GONNA ACCEPT MY OFFER!?!?!” She screamed equally as loud. “Fine. I'll spar with you, but don't go crying to Mushi when I beat you in front of all of these people.” He told her. “Ok, as long as you don't go hugging that dead priestess when I wipe it up with your face.” She said with fire in her eyes. He was taken aback by her comment but that only made him want to fight her more. “Fine, are we gonna do this hand to hand, or use our swords?” He asked. “We'll put it this way, you can use any weapon at any given time as well as using our claws, but no attack moves, Deal?” She contorted. “Deal.” They got out their swords and prepared for a soon to be wondrous battle. `Keh, I'll show her, nobody pushes me around.' Inuyasha thought to himself. `Inuyasha, I don't want to do this, but maybe it'll make you realize who I am.' Kagome thought as well. But all thoughts were lost when the sound of metal clanging filled the clearing.
