Disclaimer: I know this is supposed to be on the first chapter, but oh well. I don't own any of the original InuYasha characters, but I do own Nakamura, Nojiko, and any future made up characters. Thank you!

“Who's Nojiko?” InuYasha asked.
“I am” said a voice from high up in a tree.
It was a cat demon with shoulder length brown hair, cat-like green eyes, retractable white claws and brown cat ears perched on her head with a matching tail coming out of her kimono, which was pink with a purple trim.
“She has four shards in her chest” Kagome warned the others.
“Wrong” Nojiko said taking a velvet red bag from the pocket of her kimono, then returning it.
Nakamura smirked and pulled a white ribbon out of her pocket. She pulled hair back into a ponytail and asked “And what use do you have for the damned things?”
“Me? None, but-“
“Naraku does”
“Naraku” InuYasha growled, putting his hand on Tetsugia(sp?).
Koga growled and began tapping his foot on the ground.
“Don't bother you two” Nakamura said.
“And what's a great mutt like your self going to do about it?” Nojiko teased.
Nakamura drew her own sword and twirled it once. A second blade sprouted on the other side of the handle.
“Tengaia!” Nakamura yelled and the blades turned red. She threw it and it spun at Nojiko.
She jumped up. “Haha, you mi-eeep!” Nojiko had to jump again because the sword had boomeranged back to it's owner.
Nojiko pulled her tail around to the front.
“You split the ends of my fur mutt!” she yelled.
“I'll split your head open if you don't hand over the shards fish breath!” Nakamura yelled back.
“Hm, where have I seen this before…?” Kagome said lightly elbowing InuYasha and Koga in the ribs.
Nojiko jumped at Nakamura, who twirled Tengaia once, returning it to its normal state and re-sheathed it before jumping up and pinning Nojiko to the ground. She then back- flipped off her and landed gracefully on a branch in the tree Nojiko had been in. Just then, Nojiko's ears twitched.
“Yes M'Lord” she mumbled and she ran off.
Koga got ready to run but-
“Hold it!” Nakamura yelled “Let her go, she ain't worth it”
“You idiotic mutt she has-“
“These?” Nakamura said pulling the red velvet bag out of her pocket and throwing it up and catching it.
Kagome and InuYasha smiled but Koga looked rather dumbfounded.
“How did you-?” he asked.
“I've become a master pickpocket” Nakamura explained “I have to jack stuff off her all the time”
She hopped down from the tree and handed the bag to Kagome, who dumped it into the jar around her neck.
“Can I have the bag?” Nakamura asked.
“Um…sure…” Kagome said, arching an eyebrow and handing to Nakamura, who put a small stone it in and but it in her pocket she had a feeling Nojiko would come back for it.

The sun began to set and the group started to settle in for the night. Nakamura had taken her hair down and returned the ribbon to her pocket. She sat by the river, looking up at the full moon, just thinking while InuYasha impatiently waited for Kagome to cook ramen for dinner.
Koga joined Nakamura buy the river.
“Hey” he said.
Nakamura nodded in acknowledgment.
“Listen, I'm sorry about earlier” he said.
Nakamura smiled “Thanks” she said.
Koga nodded and returned the smile. He had felt bad, and decided that she hadn't done anything to him, and she wasn't in the way of him and Kagome. Not like that other mutt, InuYasha. He stood to return to came and tripped over a root. He got up quickly and pretended it didn't happen, but Nakamura could smell the blood from his scratch.
“Come here” she said smiling kindly. She took the ribbon out from her pocket and she wrapped it around its leg.
“Why are you-?”
“And decent person would” she said smiling and tying it off.
Koga smiled and Nakamura stood and walked back to camp.
Why am I having these feelings?” Koga thought.
