Tsukiko was still kneeling there, like a girl who was about to die after a bloody battle crying helplessly.
Did I just tell him how I feel? Tsukiko thought over and over again. She lifted her head up slightly to find Miroku standing above her with dumb-founded look on his usually handsome, happy face. Tsukiko got up sluggishly only to glance straight into his eyes for just a moment. Tsukiko gasped abit, for what she saw in his eyes wasnt anger but a bluish, violet fire of burning passion. Tsukiko managed to collect herself and ran away without a word.
As she was running all she could think about was his eyes, how they were filled with the look of love which she had always secretly given him. She turned down the hall still deep in thought to go to her locker. When she got there she was getting her books together when she heard: Im going to leave Sango. Tsukiko jumped a mile. She turned and saw Miroku who was trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible.
"What...? Is it because of what I said? Oh please just forget it! I dont want to be the cause of you and Sango breaking up! So please forget it!" Tsukiko pleaded loudly.
"I can't forget it... I will not be with Sango knowing that you love me... I wouldnt be able to bear hurting you like that." Miroku whispered giving her a sad gaze. Miroku turned around and started to head toward Suikotsu-senseis class where Sango was. But as Miroku was walking, he didnt realize that Sango was about to do the same as well.
He walked in to find Sango sitting on her desk looking at the floor with a sad gaze.
"Sango...I have something to say..." Miroku began. But before he could even get a word out Sango spoke up "I wanna break up!"
"What...?" Miroku asked suprised and a bit sad. Sango walked up to him and embraced him for a final time. She burried her face in his chest and said " You will be much happier with Tsukiko...Trust me." Sango cried and kissed him one final time before walking out the door without looking back.
Miroku head back toward Tsukiko who was crying and feeling guilty about her feelings. Miroku hugged her softly for a moment and let go.
"Tsukiko...sango left me..."He began staring in her eyes. Tsukiko whiped her tears away and stared back.
"Im sorry... Its because of me..." she cried. Miroku pushed some hair back behind her ears and laughed a bit.
" No...it wasnt you...Sango already knew it..." He smiled causing Tsukiko to blush.
You will be happier with Tsukiko...
Sangos words echoed in his head making him wonder if he should give up his friendship to have her as a girlfriend. What friendship! He didnt know anything about her anymore! He sighed heavily.
"Tsukiko...since you love me...um...we could try dating...if you want"He blushed, not really knowing how to word it. Tsukiko gasped lightly staring into his embarassed face.
"We dont have to! I wont make you do something just because I have crazy feelings!" Tsukiko laughed nervously. miroku looked at her and noticed just how cute her nervous smile was, he suddenly wouldnt take no for an answer.
"No! I wanna try it! Maybe I will fall in love with you too!" He blurted, which made Tsukiko blush even more.
"R-really Roki...Will you do that for me?" Tsukiko asked him
" Yes! I wont let you down!" He continued.Tsukiko began to cry tears of joy and threw herself into his arms.
"Oh thank you so much!" She yelled holding on to him like she always wanted to for the past 18 years. Miroku returned her hug and smiled.
"Tsukiko...Im doing this because you need to not let Hiro control you, you need to start trusting men."
"Okay...We can try." Tsukiko sighed hugging him tighter.
"We should set up a place for us to talk abot this..." Miroku began deep in thought.
" Wanna come over my house on Saturday?I can cook!" Tsukiko blurted out, without missing a beat.
"Uh sure..."
"Yay!" she cheered. She grabbed her bag and ran down the hall cheering and laughing in her mind all the way home.
When she came home she opened the door to find Sakimi hard at work on one of her fics. She was also humming Where will you go and drinking green tea.
"Hi Tsuki...!" Saki cheered, but what she saw wasnt the usual lazy Tsukiko but a happy cheery Tsukiko.
"Uh...Tsukiko...You okay?" Saki yelled getting alittle freaked out. Tsukiko completely ignored her and danced off to her room and ploopled on her bed. she squealed and hugged her pillows finally getting her wish and realizing that love wasnt only an accident waiting to happen but a dream which was finally clear to her.
"Um Tsuki...?" Saki began opening the door carefully as if a giant demon would come out and kill her. She saw Tsuki humming and squealing loudly.
"Oh Saki! Life is just wonderful!"Tsukiko laughed and cheered like a spazz.
"Why...what happened?"Saki asked twitching like crazy. tsukiko jumped up smiling and cheering again.
"I told Miroku how I felt..and he wants us to go out! YAY!"Tsuki cried happily. Saki began to jump and cheer with her.
"Yay! So what was your first kiss like with him? Details!" saki squealed all brighteyed. Tsukiko stopped cheering
"Oh...um...we havent kissed yet..." Tsukiko whispered very sadly.
"What! You are not a couple unless you kiss!Miroku of all people should know that."
"I-I know...but Im scared!" Tsukiko cried.
"Well tell me how it goes..." Saki sighed and went out to get working on her fic, even though she was a week past the dead line.Tsukiko plopped back on her bed and groaned.
Oh man! I cant kiss miroku! Oh Kami-sama what can I do!
