Prolouge


Kagome sat on the giant rock, watching the water ripple as the wind blowed. Everything in this dreamland was familiar. She had been having the same dream for several weeks now. She wondered when he would show up. The same man had been coming into her dreams also. Kagome felt a presence behind her and knew it was him. Quietly he sat down next to her, his silver hair mingling with her own in the wind. Kagome turned to look at him in the face. Never in any of her other dreams had his face been completely visible. It was usually slightly blurred.


But Kagome gasped when she saw his face. It was completely visible and Kagome could see the magenta markings under his golden amber eyes and the deep blue crescent moon in the middle of his forehead. He put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her to him. Kagome relaxed against his embrace and sighed contentedly, wishing that she didn't have to wake up soon. After several minutes of sitting there together, watching the lake, the scenery started to change and Kagome knew she was waking up now. She frowned and said a quick goodbye to the silver haired man before she heard her sister's voice.
