Epilogue
Kagome watched the little girls run around playing tag. Its been so long since she had been home and when she finally was, it was boring to her. Sesshomaru had found the way to her island shortly after their victory and allowed Kagome to visit. When she returned, she brought back all the women that Naraku had kidnapped. Everyone was so happy to see her and Kikyo and the other young women that there was a celebration. After the celebration, Kagome just sat there, figuring out what there was to do there anymore. She wanted to stay and visit, but she wanted to go to her new home with Sesshomaru. *I'll stay for one more day. Then Kikyo and I will return. She'll be happy. She really misses Inuyasha.* Kagome thought staring at the sky. She then headed to her hut and quickly fell asleep.
The next morning were full of goodbyes as Kagome and Kikyo headed out on Ah-Un, Sesshomaru's loyal dragon. Sesshomaru had insisted that they take Ah-Un so they would have an easy way home. Kagome had said that she could just fly, but then Sesshomaru had reminded her that she would have to carry Kikyo all the way there and back. She agreed to take Ah-Un. The two women talked quietly as they flew back to the castle.
Kikyo smiled happily as she saw the silhouette of the caslte. "Kagome. We're almost home." She said. Kagome looked up and smiled brightly.
"Home." She whispered. She couldn't wait to get there and see Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru sat in his study. One week ago Kagome and Kikyo left to go visit their old home. He thought about going, but then remembered that men were not allowed on the island. He silently wondered how much longer it would be for them to return. He missed Kagome so much that it almost hurt. He decided to go to bed when he sniffed the air and smiled. A familiar scent of jasmine passed through his nose and he almost ran outside. He could see the distant figure of Ah-Un and two figures on his back. His smile deepened when Ah-Un landed, Kagome running up to him and hugged him tight. He noticed his brother had come out too, and was now hugging Kikyo.
"I'm back." Kagome smiled up at him.
"You are." Sesshomaru returned the smile.
Kagome frowned slightly. "I'm hungry."
"You are? Well we should get something to eat then." Sesshomaru said.
"Yep. Um...when is Sango and Miroku's wedding?" Kagome asked as the four began walking back inside the castle. She leaned against Sesshomaru as they walked Kikyo leaning against Inuyasha.
"They were waiting for you two to get back. It'll probably be in two days." Inuyasha answered her question. Kagome smiled. She couldn't wait for her friends' wedding. She just hoped that Miroku would stop being a pervert for Sango.
