Title:A New Start

Chapter 3: Return to the Feudal Era and the Blast from the Past

Kagome looked down at the bottom of the old Bone Eaters well and sighed. This is where it all began. She thought to herself thinking back to the time when she had been pulled into the well by Mistress Centipede. It was a scary and unforgettable time, the time when she first stepped into Feudal Japan.

FLASHBACK

She ran out of the main shrine yelling back, “I'm leaving!” As she did so she headed to her school, but stopped when she saw her little brother calling their cat from inside the well house. She had never believed of the stories on the well or the old Sacred Tree. She thought they were a bunch of old fairy tales. Well boy was she wrong. “Hey what are you?”

Her little brother, Souta, looked back at her. “Nothing..”

“Your not supposed to play in there.” She removed her backpack from her back setting it on the outside of the well house door.

“I'm not! It's the cat.” Souta exclaimed looking back into the house.

“Did he go down to the well?” She asked stepping in and looked down the steps at eh old well.

“He just ran in here and can't find him from up here.” He said looking down.

“So go down.” She kneeled looking down still.

“But why do I have to be the one?” He wined.

“Because, you're the one who's looking for him.” She told him standing and walking down the steps. As she stepped infrount of the well she heard a scratching sound coming from inside the well. That sound... from inside the well... She heard a meow which made her jump and yell.

Souta fell backwards with a yell as well. “Buyo?” The cat rubbed against Kagome legs as she picked him up. “You make fun of me because I'm scared and your all beah-beah...”

“Looks who's talk Mr. Why-Do-I-Have-To-Go.” She argued turning to look at him.

There was a sound from be hide her which made Souta very worried. “Sis! Be hide you!” He yelled. But before she could turn around six arms came up and grabbed her and pulled her down into the well.

The thing turned her around and looked at her. Kagome gasped and stared at if horrified. “Oh alas... oh to be live once more. Once again my strength returns.” The centipede thing revived and then licked Kagome cheek saying. “You have it don't you... give it to me.”

“Wh-what are you doing? Let go!”Kagome yelled pushing the centipede woman off her, but in the process sending a energy of pink light pushing the creature off her.

“Reached girl, I must have the sacred jewel.” Said the thing as it went down below.

“The Sacred Jewel?” With that she showed in the world she new know as Feudal Japan.

END FLASHBACK

Inuyasha watched Kagome as she stared down into the well with curiosity sketched on his face. He stood there wonder what she could have been thinking about. “Are we going to go?” He asked curiously.

“Huh... oh sorry.. Yea.” She took his hand and they both jumped into the well into the blue light that sent them to the Warring-States Era. Kagome and Inuyasha both climbed up and out of the well into the fresh air. Once they made it to the top she looked to the Sacred God Tree and stared remembering the first time she ever saw Inuyasha.

FLASHBACK

Kagome looked around as she climbed out of the well wondering where she was. Everything was completely different from what she was used to. “Mom! Souta! Grandpa! Buyo!” She called as she wandered threw the forest looking for any score of life. As she wandered she said to herself, “It's like the Shrine wasn't even...” She paused and gasped happily seeing the tree. “The tree.” She exclaimed.

She ran towards it and thought happily, That means I'm practically home. She stopped infrount of the tree and her the look on her face changed. On the tree was a boy with long flowing silver hair pinned by a arrow. Is that a boy? She climbed up on the vines that had grown around him. “Hey! Whatcha doin'?” She asked the unconious boy. She looked up on top of her of the boy's head. Oh wow.. Like dog ears... I think I wanna.. Tough `em. She began to rub the velvety puppy ears then stopped and sighed. “Now that.. That's out of my system.” That's when the arrows shot around and villagers took her to Kaeda's Village.

END FLASHBACK

There she goes again, Inuyasha thought watching her and tapped her on the shoulder. “Kagome are you feeling okay? Your dazin' off to much.”He asked her in a worried tone.

Kagome shook herself out of thought and grinned up at him. “Yes I'm fine... Just thinking about something is all. Let's go, I want to surprise Shippo, Sango, Miroku, Kirara, and Kaeda.” She pulled on his kimono sleeve urging him to keep going. Inuyasha sighed and slipping his arm around Kagome's waist, still alittleworried about her. And sothe two went to surprise their friends.

Few! I'm glad that's over. Those flashbacks were from the first season and the first episode, The girl Who Overcame Time and the Boy Who Was Just Overcome. I have the whole first season so I memorized the eps.

Inu: Whoa... did that really happen Kagome?

Kags: Uhh... ya -whistles innocently-
