Chapter 2: A Few Weeks Later...

..: Inuyasha Dream & POV:...

“DIE NARAKU! WIND SCAR!” I yelled at my enemy infrount of me, but suddenly stopped because he had disappeared. It was dark and quiet way to quiet. What's going on?

“Inuyasha it's time to get up,” A voice broke threw the silence. That voice.. it sounded so familiar. Suddenly a slimy hand grabed me around my neck and mouth. I was falling, falling, until I suddenly woke up and opened my eyes.

..: End Dream still Inuyasha POV:...

I was breathing hard heart pounding against my chest, but I suddenly felt a soft hand cuff my cheek. I opened my eyes and found myself looked into those beautiful familiar brown eyes. “K..Kagome..?”

She grinned lightly at me with a worried look in her eyes. “You were having the nightmare again weren't you? Ever since that day you defeated Naraku your still hunted by the thought of him still being around.” She reached up and brushed her baby soft hand threw my bangs. “It's been almost three weeks since he died, but your still tormented. Maybe you should stay home today and try to work the memory off. I'm bring home your homework later after school.”

With those caring eyes staring at me I couldn't just say no. I've really gone soft after I became human. Yes, we might go back to the Fudle Era to visit the others and help Old Kaede out, but it wasn't the same as living there and searching for the shard of the Shikon no Tama.

After we defeated Naraku and finally recovered the last half of the Shikon Jewel Kagome gave it to me to become a Full Fleaged Demon. But instead of being to demon I've always said I wanted to be I wished and used the jewel to become human so I could stay by Kagome side unless she ever needed me.

I even returned with her to her own Era, but once I did I had to go to this school that she always went to and talking about back in my time. When I started going a group of girls, that I assumed were Kagome friends, came and began to ask her tones of questions about me. Also, this guy by the name of Hojo asked her who I was and what I was doing here...

FLASHBACK

“Kagome, who is this guy anyhow? And where did he come from? I'm never seen him around here.” Hojo asked glaring at Inuyasha daggers in his eyes. Inuyasha could since a little jealousy around in this glare and he was about to find out what it meant.

“Oh him... he just moved here from another part of town. Hojo this is Inuyasha, Inuyasha this is Hojo.” Kagome introduced unsure. Inuyasha glared at Hojo with deep distrust. He began to growl at him. Kagome quickly with over and stood in front of him quickly. So if they tried to start a fight they wouldn't try anything with her in the way.

“Who are you growling at dog-boy!” Hojo spat at him. `Oh great, now he's going to get it.' Kagome thought. Inuyasha pushed her out of the way and charged at him. He tackle Hojo to the ground and began to beat the living hell out of him.

“Inuyasha! Stop!” She yelled at him. When he wouldn't stop and a crowd of high school gathered around and started yelling “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!” Kagome ran over and grabbed Inuyasha by the arm and pulled him off of Hojo.

Hojo got to his feet and glared at the two of them. Inuyasha then pulled Kagome be hide him and growled at him, “You lay one harmful finger to Kagome or her family, or show up at our house your going to wish you where never born, Ya got that!” Inuyasha threatened jabbing a finger into his chest knocking Hojo off his feet. “Now get the hell out of here ya little bastered.”

With that Hojo stood, wiping off his lip where Inuyasha had busted it and now was bleeding, and walked away.

END FLASHBACK

I sighed thinking about that day. After that I was known as the most popular guy at school and Kagome the most popular girl. I looked down at, the now sleeping, Kagome in my arm and sighed. Leaned down and kissed her on the four head and laid mine on top of hers. I then slowly fell asleep with these thoughts in my mind.

...:Normal POV:...

Suddenly Inuyasha heard a alarm go off. He opened his eyes realizing that it was morning and the alarm clock was going off. He grumbled and reached over turning it off. He then noticed that Kagome had already gotten up. The smell of fresh pancakes drifted into the room as Kagome opened the door and walked in with a smile on her face.

“Rise and shine sleepy head.” She said as she sat down across from him setting a tray that held two plates of pancakes and glasses of OJ. “I hope you like pancakes they are really good.” She smiled at him.

He blinked as he looked down at his plate. The pancakes had butter and syrup on them alone with a piece of toast and bacon. Inuyasha was unsure but bravely took the butter knife and crop sticks and took a bite. Suddenly his face lit up and began gobbling the food down. “Fis uff is really ghod.” Inu said with his mouth full.

Kagome giggle as she took a napkin and wiped off the corners of his mouth. “There,” she said and kissed him on the cheek. “Well I was thinking how about today since your not going to school I was thinking I could stay too. And-“

“No Kagome.. even though I'm staying doesn't mean you have to stay too. You need to catch up on your work.. and...” Inuyasha stammerer.

Kagome put a finger over his mouth to shush him. “Shh... Inuyasha I've already caught up with my work also I want to stay. Plus you didn't hear what my idea. I was thinking we good go and stay in your time. We haven't seen the others in almost a mouth.”

Inuyasha thought about this and grinned. “I think that's a excellent idea.” So after they had breakfast they changed into some different cloths. Inuyasha in his kimono made of hair of the fire rat and red pants. Then they headed off tords the well.

YES! Chapter 2 complete! Well how was it? I thought it was pretty good.

Inu: I thought so too. He he I beat the hell out of Houjou.

Kagome: frowns that wasn't very nice.

Inu: Why would you care. Your mine aren't you?

Kagome: I didn't know you cared.

Inu: Err... oops...
